Bare mineral has been my go to foundation over the last few years. It is light, and soft on my skin and allows me to build up more if I needed a heavier look. Having an olive complexion has been difficult to find a colour match with a complementary undertone and this foundation does a perfect job!

Lightweight and soft on the skin this Bareminerals powder is great for makeup wearers who only have a few minutes to get ready.
Very buidlable coverage, I find om first application you generally get a lovely medium coverage on the skin which is easy to build up towards full coverage or by using a smaller amount you could ensure it's more lightweight on the skin.
On drier skin days it's lovely to use a hydrating foundation product first like a liquid or BB cream and then this powder on top to set and help smooth the skin.
Tips: As great as SPF 15 is in a product it's important to have more sun protection on skin. Apply your sunscreen after applying all your skincare products and then use this powder for added protection.
bareMinerals Original Mineral Foundation is a true game-changer in the world of makeup. It's become my go-to foundation for a reason. The loose mineral powder is incredibly lightweight, making it comfortable to wear all day. What I love most is the buildable coverage it offers – from a natural, barely-there look to full coverage, it adapts to my needs. Plus, it's free from harsh chemicals and provides a gentle option for those with sensitive skin. It imparts a healthy glow without clogging pores, and its natural finish feels like a second skin. bareMinerals Original Mineral Foundation is a must-try for anyone looking for a versatile, skin-friendly foundation that truly delivers.
This foundation has a nice feel to it, it feels very natural and definitely does not cake on your skin. There is not much coverage unless you apply multiple layers which can take a long time as it is a powder and has to built up. It stays on a long time though and has a nice colour to it. It is helpful having spf in it as well. I have used this for many years and I like to wear it over a liquid foundation for extra coverage
I like this foundation. It is easy to apply and lasts well on my skin. I love the fact that it goes on so easily and that you can just apply over the top if you want some more coverage during the day. I have relatively sensitive skin and this was no problem at all. I would definitely use this again.
Mineral foundation is something I’ve used on and off for years but had never tried this one as I just stuck to the same brand. I am officially in love with Bare Minerals as I try more and more of their products I am shocked by the texture and colour pay off. I am the shade “Fairly Light” which actually seems quite dark in the pot but on my face it’s perfect.it buffs in really nicely and you can see the coverage instantly even with a small amount of product. I have very patchy skin with redness and pigment spots and this covered them nicely. This is not a full coverage foundation but can definitely be built up and looks great over a concealer. Although I prefer a heavier look during the week this is my new go to on the weekends and I’m hooked. It just feels like nothing on the skin and when I apply normal foundation on a Monday I notice how heavy it feels on my face. You know lately everyone is using the catch phrase “your skin but better”, this gives meaning to that phrase. This powder won’t wear as long as a liquid foundation but can definitely be touched up during the day. I definitely recommend using the mineral veil with it as it locks it in place and helps prevent shine.
I starting using this foundation when I was 16 years old. The formula has changed a bit since then but it always performed the same. Now (in my 30s) I favour liquid foundations as they help conceal more and are better at keeping my skin hydrated. If you have youthful skin this foundation is an easy-to-apply option.
Tips: Apply using a kabuki brush and BUFF BUFF BUFF!
This is easy to apply and has a nice coverage. I only stopped using as felt the powder made my lines look worse as I aged. So I swapped back to a cream
I have used Bare Minerals for several years now. I have tried several other kinds of foundation such as Bobby Brown, Mac, Dior, Rodan and Fields - to name a few. I didn't like the feeling of my face feeling heavy, or thick. Bare minerals keeps it feeling light, like I have no makeup on. I prefer having a natural look. I absolutely love it. However, if you do have dry skin - go with the BareSkin foundation rather than the powder. My only dislike on this foundation is that it comes of easy, so by the end of the day - it doesn't cover any of my imperfections.
Tips: The only tip I have is keep your face moisturized because if you have dryer skin, the bare minerals will show that.
I've been on the hunt for a natural foundation that ACTUALLY provides full coverage for a while now and it looks like I've found my match! I use this alongside the liquid foundation and I have found that it gives long lasting full coverage. It helps reduce my big pores and keeps my oily skin at bay. It is also pretty long wearing for a mineral foundation. The only downside is that I find loose powder messy and wasteful. I bought it on special at iherb.co.nz
