I had high expectations for this product. I've always give back to vaseline traditional moisturisers over my life time when I'm feeling like a break from trying out various other brands. I had seen the ad and thought what a fab idea, an old favourite but in spray form. I was disappointed to find that this spray version was a much thinner consistency than I had expected and I didn't feel that my skin was properly moisturises. I've used the entire can as I don't like waste but would not repurchase it again.

Tips: Maybe use as a top up during the day but not as your main body moisturiser
I thought that this would be great for being in my gym bag as it would be convenient. I loved that the cap can be locked so there's no messy accidents, but the positives stop there.
I find that applying this spray moisturiser is harder than expected. It absorbs quickly, so much so that I have to spray another layer. By then, my hands would be so greasy from rubbing it in that everything becomes too slippery, especially when some of the product gets onto the shower floor!
It definitely does not heal dry skin. I often feel like I haven't applied it at all, as my skin does not feel moisturised after.
I'm also not a fan of the scent, as I find it to strong for my sensitive nose. I find myself still preferring the lotion bottle versions than this one. I would not buy this or recommend this to anyone with dry skin.
Tips: Be careful where you spray this around... As the sprayed surface can get slippery, which is not good in a wet shower area.
I have had this product in all scents now, and I love them! I use it every morning and sometimes as a touch up during the day. It's very easy spraying it all over and not having to get my hands messy because I don't rub it in, I just rub my legs together! Haha. It's not as intensive as a normal moisturiser so I still keep a normal lotion for once i've shaved etc, but for an everyday moisture kick i'm in love with them and will keep purchasing. The cocoa one and the yellow one are my favourites. I like being able to lock the cap if I need to take it away, and I find a bottle lasts about 2 months.
Tips: Don't have anything nearby, or spray closely to avoid moisturising everything in your vicinity!
I own the spray moisturizer in the Dry Skin Repair version. The moisturizer comes in a simple, attractive yellow can. I found it easy to use, simply spray 10cm from the skin and quickly rub it in. I really love the convenience of the product as it saves me time massaging moisturizer on my skin in the mornings and having to wait for the greasiness to subside. This rubs in and is absorbed into the skin really quickly. I do find though, that this doesn't really seem to moisturize my skin as well as the liquid version of the product does. I always feel like I haven't applied enough as my skin is still feeling quite dry, and this is supposed to repair dry skin. The moisturizer smells quite refreshing and it lightly scents my skin. I do find this quite pricy, as the convenience of the product being in a can, makes it more expensive than the liquid version of the product. However, I would repurchase this product simply because it is convenient and helps save me time in the mornings.
Tips: When using spray away from clothing or any objects near you, as the spray tends to coat anything nearby.
The idea of this is great but for me it fails to live up to the idea. I found coverage was eithe to little or too much and left a greasy residue where there was too much product, I then had to wait for it to absorb or wipe off before I could get dressed. The upside is soft skin without any irritation (sensitive skin) . Be wary of where you apply this as overspray can make for very slippery floors which I found out the hard way :(
Tips: Apply away from hardwood or tile floors - over scrappy makes for slippery surfaces
Another grand gem from the BRBB. I used to go through so much Vaseline moisturiser in my teenage years you would almost think I had shares in them. that or we had such a limited selection in our small town waaaay back then (the 90s) back when I was sport crazy and lived in shorts so legs were always on display and HAD to be covered in moisturiser. anyway with so many options available to us nowadays I never seem to think of the "old school" products it's always the latest and newest so it was a wee bit of a trip down memory lane although Vaseline have come to the party and decided to put their moisturiser in an aerosol can. Who knew! I was sceptical at first I didn't think it would spray out evenly and also thought it wouldn't spray a good mist. I thought it would clog up the nozzle. But see I love these products because you don't have high expectations yet they blow your mind!
It sprays a fine mist with ease. Another thing I'm surprised with is how you actually don't need to spray too much once you have sprayed you just quickly rub it in and hey presto your done it absorbs quickly into my skin and doesn't leave any sticky or greasy residue. It definitely has the trademark Vaseline scent to it which is nice it's not overpowering. The can itself has a twist top to lock it on or off. Perfect for when you take it with you it isn't going to spray all through your bag. I really like this product and I can't fault anything. Will I buy again? Yes!!
Before receiving this in the Beauty review (March) Beauty box I can honestly say I had never heard of this, so you can imagine how fascinated I was when I saw this in my beauty box. When it comes to applying moisturizer to my body or dry parts I can say that I am super lazy, I will do it when my skin is drier than a desert even though I have about 8 opened half used moisturizers stored in my drawer, if this can for lazy Lutece wont help, then nothing will!
Application is very simple, you simply spray and lightly rub it in and voila you are done, no place is hard to reach and because it sprays a fine mist onto your skin it is no problem if you dont rub it in. The first few times I tried this it was awkward to spray it directly on to my skin so I would spray it into my hand and yes it did defeat the purpose of having it in a spray can. You can never use too much as it absorbs so quickly into your skin leaving moisturized and non greasy.
The scent isn't too strong, it reminds me of the Vaseline hand cream I own, same signature smell which is quite pleasant.
Since I have received this I have been trying my best to make an effort to moisturize my skin and so far so good, it has made moisturizing so quick and easy and quite fun too.
I would like to say I will purchase another one but I'm not entirely sure if I will as I think it is just a faze for me that will die as soon as this can runs out. There is hope for me and many others that forget to moisturize as regular and as often as we should.
Tips: I have been using this on the ends of my hair since I have used up all my coconut oil and its been working a treat, no greasiness and has been keeping my hair under control.
I received this moisturiser in the BRBB. I was really stoked to get it as I keep meaning to try it, but it never makes the list of essentials.
The ad makes it look so easy to use, and being able to put clothes on so quickly gave me the impression that it wouldn't be greasy at all. The packaging is like the powdery deodorants, tall with a spray nozzle. I like the lock option, if I tuck it in my bag it's not going to get squashed and spray everywhere. The moisuriser comes out in a continuous light spray (make sure you shake it or it will sort of just ooze out) It's great how it sprays upside down, so when you are just quickly spritzing it around your body it doesn't stop. I don't mind the scent, I can't quite explain what it smells like, sweet and flowery? Sometimes it feels a little overpowering.
The spray does absorb very quickly, not as quickly as the ad, it leaves my skin feeling lightly moisturised. I wouldn't say that it was intensive though. I think this is good for someone like me - who is a bit slack remembering to moisturise after a shower, but doesn't have really dry skin. I think if your skin is quite dry it would take something a little more 'intensive' to make a real difference.
This is a mild yellow tube spray container you just twist the lid it sort of clicks twice and its unlocked and twist the other way and it's locked great for transporting around to the gym etc, this easy to spray nice and easy to hold and use. There are also instructions on the container and in the bathroom with no glasses a couple of easy to see pictures, This moisturiser sprays out in a light yellow thin runny spray and it does readily absorb into my skin after a few minutes, I am heavy handed with this and I found it does run down my body and I have to be quick to rub it in. It seems silly to me to spray on my body and then rub it in I guess I'm stuck in the time warp of putting moisturizer on my hand and then rubbing it in so for me a spray is a time waster as I'm spraying it on my hand and then rubbing it in. This is very lightly scented a little powdery waxy scent it doesn't last and it's non greasy and not tacky. I have dry skin and I moisturise regularly all year around I feel I'm not getting the moisture level I like with using this and I do moisturise every day I've found after I've used it I do feel dry and need more. I do find this does go on my bathroom floor we bit a bit of drift with the spray, so I'm finding that for me this is a messy product. I'm not to sure this is for me I just don't get the moisturising with it.
I was quite excited about having a moisturiser in spray form, but it just really didn't float my boat. The moisturiser itself is very watery and thin, doesn't provide a deep moisturising experience and I need to apply more moisturiser later on in the day. The product is also really cold - which would be refreshing in summer, but it winter it is pure torture.
The spray goes everywhere making everything else (floor etc) wet and slippery. It doesn't spray evenly and you still have to rub it in so the whole benefit of it being a spray is totally lost. The nozzle also gets sticky and is difficult to clean out. Wouldn't buy again.
