Time of the month go to

I love using these tampons. The plastic applicator glides in and the grip on the end makes putting my tampon in super easy. The plastic is a lot better than the normal cardboard like applicators. They are also a great product as they are reasonably priced. I definitely prefer these over the other tampax tampons and will not be using anything else again. The only problem I have, and this is with all other tampons with applicators as well, is that they are bigger so not very discreet. I often hide mine up my sleeve or in my back pocket when I go to the bathroom.

Tips: Using a tampon for the first time can be scary, but tampax pearls make it so much easier. They glide in easily and you don't worry about how far to insert it. Definitely recommend to first time tampon users

Tampax pearl tampons

I've been using these for years. Easy for beginners because of the smooth applicator the cardboard ones are harder to work with. They're pretty absorbent and so comfortable you'll forget you even have your period.

Best Applicator Tampons

In general I usually just use non-applicator tampons, as they're smaller and easier to carry around discreetly, but of all the applicator types I've tried these ones are by far the best.

They are long and bulky compared to non-applicator ones, there is no denying that. However, the ease of application does make up for that, in my opinion. They have a blue plastic applicator with a rounded tip, which is smooth and easy to use, unlike some cardboard applicators. The wrappers aren't 'noisy', which I appreciate, and are easy to open.

The actual tampons are comfortable to wear, and I haven't experienced any leaking with them, which is a major plus!

Overall, I would definitely recommend these over other applicator tampons. I especially think they'd be great for people just starting out with tampons, as they're so easy and comfortable to use. They are a little more expensive, but I find they're often on sale at the supermarket, so I just pick them up then.

Tampax Pearl No Leak Surprises Tampons

I bought a pack of supers when on sale. Applicator tampons cost more. But since I discovered how convenient and mess free that tampon launcher makes it to use tampons I was hooked. These ones come individually wrapped and the wrapper is really easy to open. The wrappers seem a bit more sleek than some other brands. I don't notice much of a difference between this and the applicators for other brands. The applicator is smooth and easy to slide in and the base is easy to grip and launch your tampon in place. Often the problem I have with tampons is that they can leak after a couple hours which means I need to wear a panty liner with them but with these the little braid further up the base of the tampon they seem to absorb a bit more than a regular string so it probably would take longer for this one to leak. I haven't had any problems with leaking using these. You do pay a bit more for these but not having to worry about leaks makes it worth it plus I get a couple more tampons than other brands.

Tips: The braid is to stop it from leaking but I haven't tested having them in longer than 5 hours. The recommendations on the box are to change every 4-8 hours. I like to buy these when they're on sale to save a bit.

Perfect!

I know it sounds weird but these feel like they were made just for me! Due to back problems I find it hard to apply normal non applicator tampons. These are easy to use with minimal effort. The absorbency is awesome and find it lasts longer than others. They are by far my favourite brand to use. I have tried others but find they aren't right for me.

Im from America and finding plastic applicator tampons isnt easy. I have trouble with ones without applicator, and cardboard ones irritate me. So if you have the same issues as me, try these!!!

Tips: No tips bc I love them so much

Tampax pearl

Tamped pearls offers good leak protection but it's applicator can be a bit clumsy, whilst it is a comfortable fit, you cannot discreetly take them places, and I opted for a more smaller tampon that I could put in my back pocket or wallet, the product itself is trustworthy there are no fears that the string will tear out, or that there will be any fraying of the cotton core, overall a great product

Plastic applicator

I have been a user of Tampax’s applicator tampons for a long time. I have a light flow, so this review is for the Regular tampons.

I prefer tampons with applicators because I find them easier to use, but they are not always the easiest to find. I have stuck with Tampax because they are affordable, and nearly everywhere stocks them. I bought these Pearl tampons because the supermarket I was in did not have the ordinary cardboard Tampax Tampons that I usually use.

Tampax’s Regular Pearl packs come in cardboard boxes of 20. The Regular comes in a blue and yellow branded box, with the tampons wrapped in individual yellow and white plastic wrappers, so you know what strength they are when they are out of the box. Each pack comes with instructions for beginners on how to use and insert tampons, as well as warning advice regarding Toxic Shock Syndrome.

These Pearl tampons are more expensive per pack than the ordinary applicator tampons. The main difference is that while the tampons themselves are cotton, the applicator and tube are both made of plastic. The tampon box also promises that the tampon wrappers are easy to open with their “easy to open tabs.” They are very easy to open, easier than the ordinary Tampax (not that those are especially difficult to unwrap). The plastic applicator also feels smoother, and is easier to insert. However, plastic applicators are less beneficial for the environment.

The tampons are comfortable once inserted. The absorbency of these tampons is good. I have never had any problems with leakage while wearing these. They also come with a braided tampon string, which is meant to further guard against leakage. They are easy to remove. Altogether, a more luxurious tampon that the ordinary cardboard Tampax because of the smoother application and ease of use. Worth the extra money if you are after maximum comfort.

Great for Young Girls

I just discovered these last year and used them myself. I have since had a hysterectomy - so have no need for them. But one thing I found these were very easy to insert. They slide in more easily than the cardboard ones.

I am not sure how biodegradable these are but would hope that Tampax did research on the environmental factors of their products.

Tips: Great for teens learning how to use and insert tampons for the first time, as there is less force needed for insertion.

Tampax Pearl Tampons

These are my go to tampons when that time of the month rolls around. I stumbled across them as they seemed to be the cheapest at the time and my mum said I should try use tampons with an applicator as they are the easiest to use.

My mum had ever been so right in her life! Because they are plastic they are very easy to insert as they glide in with ease. They also do not hurt when placed in like others can. The applicator is very easy to use. With other brands the applicator sometimes gets stuck and won't push the tampon in but I do not have that problem with these. They are quite big so not all that discreet but I usually get around that by putting it up my sleeve when walking into the bathroom.

If I were you I would stock up on these as they are the best and I would defiantly recommend them to every single girl.

Tips: Always keep one or two in your handbag for 'emergencies'.
