Picture this.  There's an event/date/interview on the horizon.  You've planned your perfect hairstyle.  Maybe you've even practised it to perfection.  D-day arrives.  You look amazing, from your dress to your makeup, to your overpriced yet fabulous new shoes.  You nail the hairstyle.  You give yourself one last look in the mirror.

You hath been struck down by frizz.

Frizz is the bane of many a girl's mane - not only does it look untidy, it immediately dulls shine as your hair strands and cuticles fight to stick out every which way but down.  Heat and humidity are the most common environmental factors inducing frizz, but hair type, styling choices and random bad luck days are also factors.

Lucky for us frizz-prone girls, Schwarzkopf have created Extra Care Dry Mist Oil which promises to "detangle and smooth hair, adding instant shine for a sleek, finished look."  It's enriched with Argan oil and is perfect to carry with you in case you are faced with a frizz emergency.

Of course we're going to be putting it to the test, so we need a trial team of fuzzy wuzzies to trial it!

So, come on, lets hear your frizz woes - do you suffer from frizz or are you lucky to have frizz-free hair? How do you prevent frizz from ruining your hairstyles?

My hair has a bit of natural wave to it but as soon as there is the slightest humidity I end up with frizzy wayward hair that has a life of its own.

Fine hair + Auckland humidity = Bride of Frankenstein. Or should that be Kelliestein?

Frizz is my daily life its been many years since I could even remember not having frizzy hair. Instead I rock the bun as its my safest option

I found are an oil to be far too heavy for my hair, ended up just making me all greasy looking never really made much difference, I also found out how some argan oil is actually made..............

I'm lucky enough to have thick wavy hair that suffers from frizz. I love to try any and all oil treatments that I can find since that seems to be the only way to keep it under control. Argan oil is a lifesaver for drying and straightening your hair and for fixing a little frizz touch up when it happens.

Humidity and frizzy hair is definitely the bane of my mane. Some days I just want to bury my head under the covers and stay in bed all day. I have very fine, straight hair and I find most oils are just too heavy (whether this is the product itself or my own heavy-handedness I'm not sure). The mist action might be the key to resolving this. Would love to get to trial it!

My hair can get frizzy. I often braid my hair to avoid the frizzy look. I have fine textured hair, I'll often add a bit of Hask Argan oil to smooth it down or my Loreal anti frizz serum but I do have to be careful with the application because it can look really oily if just apply a teensy bit to much.

I have fine fine hair but since cutting it short frizz is a thing of the past... happy days for me but my daughter still has 'fluffs' regularly
