Do You Get in a Twist Over Your Tangled Hair?

When Prince Charming asked Rapunzel to let down her hair he didn't consider the effort she'd have to go through to de-tangle it after.

Whether loose for the day or in a sleek up-do, it's safe to say when you've finished washing the day out of your hair you're going to encounter a few tangles or knots. The longer, curlier or more unruly your hair, the more time you're going to spend detangling.  And if you have kids with long hair, urgh, you'll soon learn that kid-life and long hair do a tangled mess make.

Seriously, sidebar for the parents among y'all.  Is there anything more annoying than detangling your kids hair?  The pre-wince before you begin to comb.  The inevitable 'ouchie' the nanosecond the detangling implement touches their hair.  The pulling away as you're working on a big knot that results in THEM yanking the hair through the brush, yet somehow declaring you the meanest parent alive.  I repeat.  So.  Annoying.

Now I jumped on board the detangling brush a few years ago - we actually have 3 Mita TanglePros in our house, the compact ones that fit into the palm of your hand.  Why three? One for my thick barnet, one for the boys' curly heads and one for The Husband's beard.  We all love them.  I love mine as it detangles my hair with ease, even if I've forgotten to brush it for a few days.  The boys love it because it doesn't pull their hair and it helps mama get the job done faster.  And The Husband loves it because it detangles a large area at once while being ergonomical.  My love for the Mita TanglePro is why I'm so excited about our latest trial opportunity!

We're putting the new Mita TanglePro to the test.  It features new flexi-glide technology for speedy, gentle detangling on wet or dry hair. The unique contoured head curves to the shape of your scalp for optimum results while the multi length bristles help minimise hair breakage.  The ergonomic non slip handle is comfortable and makes for easy handling.   The best bit is it's suitable for all hair types, so whether you have thick, fine, curly or coarse hair, you'll easily be able to get it to its best, most manageable state ever.

So if you'd like to join this trial team - for yourself or your brush-resistant children, tell us below!  And why not chat to us about you tangle woes and any tips you have too!

I have long waist length hair the type that when you start a braid the ends braid themselves into a tangled mess. Every time I have to end run my fingers through the lengths whilst braiding or detangle the mess at the ends. I could use a brush that makes detangling a breeze.
