Do you buy your skincare products from the supermarket?

We're busy people right?  We don't want to spend more time on our beauty regime than we have to.  From products that are quick and easy to use, to products that boast impressive results in double-quick time, efficiency is a pretty important factor.  But what about when it comes to buying beauty products? Is it a case of location, location, location?

Remember in those unimaginable times before internet shopping when you'd pick up your skincare products from the department store or pharmacy?  Oh sure you could pick up your 'lady's equipment' or deodorant from the supermarket, but for decent skincare you'd need to make a separate stop.

And when supermarkets first started stocking skincare, a lot of us thought this was too good to be true.  Could you really find decent skincare products down a supermarket aisle?

Nowaways you can pretty much pick up all of the products for an entire beauty routine whilst you're doing your weekly grocery shop.  And the variety is impressive.

Well now, supermarkets are such big players in the beauty industry, they're beginning to offer lines exclusive to their stores - and the brands are good!  essano is a fabulous brand available only in Countdown stores - and all of the products have an average rating of 4/5 or higher!

We're going to be putting The Rosehip by essano Gentle Facial Exfoliator to the test.  This exfoliator refines skin tone and texture for a smoother, brighter complexion. The gentle, soap-free formula contains Rosehip Bio-Exfoliating granules to lift and clear away dead surface skin and impurities, to reveal more vibrant looking skin.

It sounds wonderful doesn't it?  If you'd like to trial this product why not get chatting to us about where you buy your skincare products from.  Is the ease of being able to pick them up from your local pharmacy or even supermarket important to you? Or do you think nothing of a dedicated trip to the department store or salon to stock up?

I buy most of my goodies from the supermarket. makeup wipes, scrubs are def cheaper at supermarket. I like the convenience of just adding it to my grocery bill :) run and grab as I say. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about this product so would love to try

I love that there is now a great range of beauty products available at the supermarket.. Apart from it keeping the costs down it's so convenient being able to pick up all the necessities from the one store!

I buy quite a few products at the supermarket and my night regime is purchased at Farmers. Have not noticed this brand as yet. Would love to give it a trial as have read lots of good things about Rosehip. I only use exfoliating products occassionally as have fine visable veins on my face. However, this sounds gentle, and being soapfree an added bonus.

I love Essano and have all the items in the range except the hand cream and exfoliator. Love the ease of buying quality skincare when I buy my groceries!! I'd love to try this.

I usually buy my products from a specialised store or pharmacy or usually online etc. I tend to think that the supermarket tends to offer brands that are cheap or full of nasties. I would love it if I could get my beauty products from the supermarket as I am there every week. It would save on postage costs and I can easily read the labels etc!

Buying beauty products from the supermarket is both easy and mostly quite cost effective too. Always looking for specials. The Rosehip Exfoliator looks like a very interesting product to be tried.

I totally do. Supermarkets these days have quite a wide range and most of what I need for the basics... i've never seen this brand though but it looks awesome so super keen to give it a go!

I buy nearly all my beauty products from the supermarket due to price and I am comfortable with the great ranges they have. I may buy products elsewhere for gifts or as a special treat. I would love to try this product - a gentle face scrub would be just what I need to get rid of the build up of old dry skin that can make my skin look tired and dull

ive used them a couple of times but i havent found one that works for my skin this sounds like it would be great

I used to be a bit more fussy and purchase some products from department stores and salons but now I am a mum to 2 young children, the supermarket is my place of choice! It is more convenient and because I am there at least once a week, I can keep an eye out for specials.

I'm a busy Mum of 3 and also work full-time - money is a factor so I buy lots of products from the supermarket. They are great quality. Currently I'm using a Dove exfoliating cleanser, but would love to try the Essano scrub :)

I find it so much easier picking up skincare from the supermarket - going into a pharmacy is more effort and a special trip. Most pharmacies are shut before i finish work or in the weekends which also means the supermarket is much more accessible. Sometimes if I hear of a product i really want I will find it online and order it that way. Love the sound of this product esp the granules!
