Hey girls, do you think darker lips e.g: Purple, dark red would suit someone with a darker complection ? I've been dying to try the darker colour because of the beautiful ladies on the MUO page and they look so so good but i feel like i can't pull it of?
Do you have any suggestions on what i can do?
I recently purchased the revlon colourburst matte lipstick in the purple one and it just doesnt look as good?

I'm in love with dark lips on any skin tone to be honest, to me it shows your personality, a girl who isn't afraid to wear bold colours on her lips can do anything she pleases :)
Thats why I love any colour, I'll try any once, you never know until you try, I mean I used to think eww to purple lips now I can't go 2 days without wearing my poisonberry lipstick it just makes me...me =)

And winter is coming (oh hey game of thrones - yes ok I am very excited about it tonight) so it's the perfect time to go a little darker. Summer is bright and colourful but in winter I enjoy a darker side.
You could go test some out most shops are always happy to let you try their products. Are you near a MAC store? I find Rebel is a great first time darker shade as its darker but not too dark for your first darker lipstick (I am not even sure if that even made sense - sorry!)
