Ah ageing. It happens to us all. It's happening right now. By the time you've finished reading this sentence, you'll have aged some more.
Don't get me wrong, lots of good things happen with age - experience, wisdom, unashamedly saying no to things you don't want to do. But why do those things have to come with a side of fine lines, wrinkles and sagging?
I know. I am a beacon of positivity. I confess. Lately, I've been spending more time staring into the mirror, pulling my skin tauter than nature ever intended, willing my skin to stop sagging and creasing. I've conducted more than enough research into anti ageing to know what is happening and why.
Here's my 2-point guide to ageing skin.
- As we age the production of collagen slows and cell structures lose their strength. As our skin becomes less elastic and more fragile it wrinkles, sags and loses definition.
- The eyes, mouth and cheeks give into ageing easier and need extra care as we age to maintain firmness, smoothness and definition.
SIGH. But all is not lost thanks to those clever beauty scientists.
We're looking for 30 ladies to review three products from L'Oréal Paris - designed to protect your skin from ageing.
Revitalift Day Cream SPF 15 provides optimal protection against ageing. Elastin-flex is an exclusive complex which multiplies and strengthens the network of elastin fibres to give them more support. With this complex, the support network of the skin becomes more dense for more elastic and extra-firm skin.
L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Night Cream is specially developed to stimulate the production of the 8 natural lifters of the skin to restore its natural auto-lift function. It is enriched with Pro-Retinol A, a powerful anti-wrinkle ingredient, known to stimulate skin cell renewal for deep anti-ageing action.
LOréal Paris Revitalift Eye Cream contains Stimulift technology to stimulate the production of the skin's 8 natural lifters to plump your skin from within for a natural lifting and firming effect. The anti-wrinkle + firming Eye Cream has been developed to hydrate and tone the eye contour area and visibly reduces wrinkles and crow's feet.

Now I'm into my late 50's my skin appears to be sagging on the cheeks and one of my eyes has a definite crow's feet with the other starting to appear. I would love to plump up my cheeks and control the crow's feet which have only just this year started to appear. I have a teenage daughter who is starting to say I'm more wrinkly and would love to try a new product to give my skin a much needed boost please.
