I first purchased this bomb through the UK, as NZ didn’t have it just yet, and there was so much hype around it because it was new. I was drawn in by the gorgeous greens and the forest design.
This bomb isn’t something I’d purchase had I smelled it first. Not saying it was bad, but it was definitely something different. It was very earthy, with a hit of lime. Once in the bath the bomb bubbled away merrily, the greens spouting out wonderful pieces of lustre, turning the entire bath a gorgeous mermaid green. The shimmer was what made it so mystical, and I truly felt like I was in a forest somewhere, surrounded by fireflies and fairies.
While I was disappointed there weren’t any surprise colors, the array of green shades were enough to amaze me. The smell didn’t stick around on my skin, but the lustre did! And I love that. My skin was so gloriously smooth and soft, and after every LUSH bath, the man is unable to keep his hands to himself, as I am now so warm and soft. So, no, I wouldn’t buy it again, but it was quite delightful when I did have it.
This is such a lovely bath bomb! A beautiful earthy scent typical of Lush, not too overpowering and perfect for people who aren't into the sickly sweet fragrances. When added to a bath it releases a super strong green colour — honestly, this will turn your bath into an actual liquid forest. I was so surprised at how green it was! A lovely bathing experience, with a subtle shimmer which was super pretty. This bath bomb also didn't leave any marks on the tub. Awesome job Lush!
