I actually really like this cream. I like the ingredients, the packaging and especially the scent. The scent is gorgeous fruity floral scent. I got this as a GWP. I have really dry eczema prone hands and I didn't find this cream moisturizing enough for my hands. I definitely think it's a real treat as a body cream since the consistency is nice and thick but absorbs and the fragrance is gorgeous. But I do find it rather pricey for me to use as a body cream as I ended up going through it rather quickly. So the next GWP tube went to my and I needed a gift for my grandma so I gifted it to her and she really liked it for her hands. As a hand cream it would probably suit you if don't have really dry hands like me and it does come a really big tube, also makes a really nice gift to someone who loves fruity, floral scents and natural skincare.

Tips: If you use it as a body cream you will go through it significantly faster than if you used it as a hand cream so to prolong the use of the tube but still enjoy the pampering you can use an unscented or lightly scented or at least a non-clashing scented body lotion, cream or oil all over and just put a little Joyful Body Cream on some parts that need a little bit more moisture or pampering or anywhere that a bit heavier moisture would go nicely like legs or arms. That way you get some pampering and you get to experience the fragrance but you don't use up the tube so quickly since it's pricey.
I was pleasantly surprised after using this as I had previously tried the other antipodes hand cream and really was not a fan! This one however has a beautiful berry smell and feels lovely on as its non-greasy yet moisterising at the same time. The only thing that lets it done is the packaging I feel because it dents really easily and you can't get as much out of the tube as you did when Antipodes was previously using plastic tubes. Maybe they are better for the environment? But I've noticed this type of packaging doesnt travel as well.
Tips: Works great instead of perfume and can double as a body cream too.
I found this product quite nice to use not greasy and left my hands feeling soft but found it didn't last long
Flowery moisturizers always make me a bit hesitant as they tend to either be lacking in fragrance or like you have been smacked over the head with a bouquet. To my surprise, this fragrance is very nice; the right hint of flowery in a mostly clean-scented lotion.
The consistency of the lotion was also very pleasing, not leaving an oily residue on my hands like I had just finished eating a bucket from KFC. I wouldn't say it is an intensive moisturizer, but a good day-to-day one for normal skin.
My skin is very sensitive and runs from dry to normal. I didn't have a reaction, thankfully, and it worked well on my hands though not as well on super dry areas.
Is it worth the price? I wouldn't have paid for it if it wasn't a freebie with some other Antipodes products I bought, but I was pleasantly surprised with it and would buy it again... on discount.
The smell of this cream is beautiful and it melts quickly into my skin, but I feel like the nourished and hydrated feeling doesn't last very long. It is a more expensive cream I guess and I don't think I would repurchase it because of this, I much prefer the jubilation body creamy antipodes even though the smell isn't half as good.
I received this as a freebie and while I have enjoyed it I probably would not buy it again at full price due to the smell, it wasn't bad but for some reason I just didn't really like it.
Personally I enjoyed this moisturizer, I found it very creamy, non-oily and it didn't leave a residue. It did take a minute or two to sink in before I could put clothes on but it wasn't too bad.
The packaging is okay, I prefer pots and pump bottles however this is actually quite travel friendly and doesn't take up much room in a handbag/gym back. I also like the pinky/purply packaging.
Tips: I think Antipodes is a great brand and at the stand in Farmers you can try their products before you buy!
I got this cream as a freebie and went back to purchase more products so that I could receive another one! Looking at the packaging, its visually attractive and you can squeeze absolutely the last drop out of it because of the tube. It feels wonderfully silky on your skin and sinks in straight away , leaving no oily residue on your skin at all. It leaves me feeling pampered for ages afterwards as that lovely nourishing feeling really does linger. The smell is heavenly and an instant pick me up for me :) I will definitely pay full price for this once the ones I have are finished.
This is my go-to hand moisturizer! it has such a beautiful fragrance and makes my hands feel silky smooth. It is quite expensive, but you only need a tiny bit and it lasts so long. I find that the packing stays clean, the product doesn't have gunk at the top. I don't really like the packing, I think it would be better in some kind of bottle, although the packing is durable and a pretty colour and it is very easy to carry around in my toiletries bag or handbag.
Tips: only use a tiny bit!
I got this as a gift and don't think I'd be using it again. Although it's quite hydrating it's a little difficult to rub in sometimes.
My main issue is the smell. I understand that cosmetics need to have an appealing smell but this is just way too strong. I assume it's fairly natural according to the ingredients but it doesn't smell very natural, perhaps it's just too concentrated for my liking but I had to wash it off as it was just unpleasant.
I was so excited to try this out when it came out because I have found other Antipodes products awesome and the packaging is so pretty! I forked out over $40 for it and was really disappointed as it did a pretty poor job of moisturising. For the price I was expecting a better product. Personally, the fragrance is a bit sweet for me too.
