As I'm writing this I have just squeezed the last of it out of the tube and am contemplating whether I will repurchase it. First off, I love the scent but I'm a very let down on the product. When you first use it it feels luscious and moisturising but I found it didn't last as long as I would have like it to. A big yes to the scent, and a no to the actual effectiveness.

I got this as a gift and don't think I'd be using it again. Although it's quite hydrating it's a little difficult to rub in sometimes.
My main issue is the smell. I understand that cosmetics need to have an appealing smell but this is just way too strong. I assume it's fairly natural according to the ingredients but it doesn't smell very natural, perhaps it's just too concentrated for my liking but I had to wash it off as it was just unpleasant.
I was so excited to try this out when it came out because I have found other Antipodes products awesome and the packaging is so pretty! I forked out over $40 for it and was really disappointed as it did a pretty poor job of moisturising. For the price I was expecting a better product. Personally, the fragrance is a bit sweet for me too.
Flowery moisturizers always make me a bit hesitant as they tend to either be lacking in fragrance or like you have been smacked over the head with a bouquet. To my surprise, this fragrance is very nice; the right hint of flowery in a mostly clean-scented lotion.
The consistency of the lotion was also very pleasing, not leaving an oily residue on my hands like I had just finished eating a bucket from KFC. I wouldn't say it is an intensive moisturizer, but a good day-to-day one for normal skin.
My skin is very sensitive and runs from dry to normal. I didn't have a reaction, thankfully, and it worked well on my hands though not as well on super dry areas.
Is it worth the price? I wouldn't have paid for it if it wasn't a freebie with some other Antipodes products I bought, but I was pleasantly surprised with it and would buy it again... on discount.
I loved this hand cream, and personally found the smell is divine! It is strongly scented and a thick cream but I found it absorbed relatively easily. I did need to reapply fairly regularly, particularly when in an air conditioned office. My only complaint is the metal tube packaging - made it difficult to squeeze the cream out and the lip of the tube was rough which detracted from the experience of using it.
Tips: Could be a hit or miss product to buy as a gift given the strong fragrance!
I actually really like this cream. I like the ingredients, the packaging and especially the scent. The scent is gorgeous fruity floral scent. I got this as a GWP. I have really dry eczema prone hands and I didn't find this cream moisturizing enough for my hands. I definitely think it's a real treat as a body cream since the consistency is nice and thick but absorbs and the fragrance is gorgeous. But I do find it rather pricey for me to use as a body cream as I ended up going through it rather quickly. So the next GWP tube went to my and I needed a gift for my grandma so I gifted it to her and she really liked it for her hands. As a hand cream it would probably suit you if don't have really dry hands like me and it does come a really big tube, also makes a really nice gift to someone who loves fruity, floral scents and natural skincare.
Tips: If you use it as a body cream you will go through it significantly faster than if you used it as a hand cream so to prolong the use of the tube but still enjoy the pampering you can use an unscented or lightly scented or at least a non-clashing scented body lotion, cream or oil all over and just put a little Joyful Body Cream on some parts that need a little bit more moisture or pampering or anywhere that a bit heavier moisture would go nicely like legs or arms. That way you get some pampering and you get to experience the fragrance but you don't use up the tube so quickly since it's pricey.
I found this product quite nice to use not greasy and left my hands feeling soft but found it didn't last long
The smell of this cream is beautiful and it melts quickly into my skin, but I feel like the nourished and hydrated feeling doesn't last very long. It is a more expensive cream I guess and I don't think I would repurchase it because of this, I much prefer the jubilation body creamy antipodes even though the smell isn't half as good.
I received this as a freebie and while I have enjoyed it I probably would not buy it again at full price due to the smell, it wasn't bad but for some reason I just didn't really like it.
Personally I enjoyed this moisturizer, I found it very creamy, non-oily and it didn't leave a residue. It did take a minute or two to sink in before I could put clothes on but it wasn't too bad.
The packaging is okay, I prefer pots and pump bottles however this is actually quite travel friendly and doesn't take up much room in a handbag/gym back. I also like the pinky/purply packaging.
Tips: I think Antipodes is a great brand and at the stand in Farmers you can try their products before you buy!
I loved the moisturizer at first, but I have allergies and when ever I used it I get itchy throat and start sneezing. The cream is very fragranced and it's not very pleasant.
