I was gifted this serum to trial and review alongside the entire range and I found this serum to be super liquidy, which meant for its really reasonable price point it also goes a really long way making it even more reasonable. I found this really easy to use, I didn’t need as much as required and it didn’t feel too heavy on the skin. One thing that did bug me about this range was the smell, normally I’m not a person bugged by smells but for some reason I really didn’t like the scent this range has. It’s not strong either so it must just be me. Another thing I wasn’t a fan of was after cleansing my face in the morning and applying this along with the others it took a long time for the product to soak into my face. I even waited up to an hour before applying makeup but it still felt like there was something on my skin and slightly sticky. Furthermore after I had applied my foundation it didn’t look anywhere near as good as normal. Which is a shame because without makeup I quite liked the look this skincare range gave my skin, luminous but not oily. And I do really like that it’s all organic and nasty free! Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll use this range again because of the smell, but I do think for those who don’t wear much makeup this would be a really nice skincare range for you and I do think it helped keep my skin looking clear

Tips: A little goes a long way! Also leave to dry a while before applying makeup
This was an interesting product. I worked wonders with reducing oil and keeping the face shine free. Packaging was nice and simple. My only problem was the smell of the product (harshly clinical) and the feeling your face is left with, almost as though you are wearing a mask!! Dries rapidly and moisturises at the same time. Probably won’t be buying again as the moisturiser in this range works wonder by itself.
Tips: Don’t put makeup on after use. It sticks and goes patchy!! Watch out!
Prior to the BR trial for under 25's, I had never used a serum on my face (especially as part of my normal skin care routine) but I was very impressed by the Essano Clear Complexion: Detoxifying Serum for a few reasons. Firstly, I enjoyed the simple packaging of the product as it comes in a small metal-like pump canister with a lid. This product would be easy to use when travelling and it's pump feature made application straight-forward. A little amount of this product was all that was need as I found it quite potent - thus the effects could be felt almost instantly, tightening my skin. After application I did notice a natural looking shine on my skin (perhaps this was also a result of using the product in-conjunction with the other Essano range). The detoxifiying serum left a pleasant smell and assist in clearing my pores - especially the under-the-skin pimples. Of all the products from this range I would readily buy the Detoxifying serum for my skin care routine!
Tips: Be preparing for a tightening feeling after application. Also, a little goes a long way!
i have oily acne prone skin ,i dont know if this makes my face less spot prone ,but my face turned super oily after i applied this so dont like it .
LOVE!! Can't rate this product enough! It has left my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized but feels so light on the skin. I love the packaging and find the pump super easy to use and mess free! I use this bith morning and night and am already seeing improvements
This is probably the one product out of the whole range that I'm not completely sold on. Personally I felt like it didn't do much for my skin, and I found that it was the one product I didn't really care about using.
There's nothing actually bad about this product, however there's nothing I found to be amazing either. I felt like instead of nourishing my skin, it almost made it feel dryer than usual, and slightly tight. I personally do not like the tight feeling because it makes me feel like I'm just putting alcohol on my face.
What I do like about this serum is the packaging, I like how it's slightly heavy so it feels nice to hold. The pump is also nice, but I think if it was a bit more controllable it would be perfect.
I will definitely continue to use this serum though, because I think that all of the products in this range work together amazingly. Perhaps if I stop using it I will see a difference, and then I will know if it's helping my skin.
Tips: Apply at night after your moisturiser, make sure to put it on your neck too.
