Hydtating Mist Toner

This was one of the products I received in the latest Beauty Box and I have been delighted ever since. It came in a nice little box white with dark pink and grey writing and a lovely floral pattern inside the lid of the box. This felt really special before I had even emptied the nice brown glass bottle with a black top and spray.Made in NZ is always a plis and I find each time i try Trilogy's products I get more sold on their products. The spray is nice and easy to use and delivers a good spray with a light touch. The scent at first was a little overpowering which I feel was the geranium and later the rose scent came through. I lightly smelt the lavender. This is an unusual mix however I found with ongoing use I enjoy the scent. The toner is refreshing on my skin and with all the muggy weather we have been having has been lovely to just give a little squirt to freshen up. I have noticed the pores on my skin have reduced and my skin feels really fresh after use. I will certainly be purchasing this again and my skin has certainly benefited from using.

Tips: Keep a bottle at work for the time of day when you start to sag a little as it will freshen you up.

Not a winning toner for me

I have sensitive oily skin and against my better judgement I decided to give this a go. Unfortunately I have reacted to the last 3 skincare products I have used from this brand. Kindly note this is not to say there is anything wrong with the products or the brand but more so with me just having sensitive skin.

I thought that since it's a mist, it'll be gentle and go on lightly so I shouldn't have any issues. I do appreciate the frosted glass packaging and a functional nozzle. I can tell you now that I really hated the herbal rose scent which is quite pungent and does linger on the skin but over the course of a week I eventually got over it.

I noticed when I spritzed my face it was refreshing (as are most mists) but my lips felt like they were shriveling up and somewhat semi-parched which really should have been a sign for me to stop there. The rest of my face felt and looked normal but I didn't find the toner very hydrating.

After I cleanse I would tone using 4 spritz about an elbow length away and if I didn't add a facial serum or moisturiser after the toner my face would feel semi-tight. It was nothing dramatic (because I've felt worse) but again this should have been a sign for me to stop.

It took two weeks for me to react to the mist where I developed red/pink dry patches all over my face and was uncomfortable to touch but not to worry this is generally what happens when I react. I will be passing this onto someone who can reap the benefits of this product.

Ohhh refreshing & soothing

Received this in the latest beauty box and is fast becoming a fav - love the feeling of the refreshing mist after a good cleanse. Leave to dry and feel alive :) Also find really soothing after facial hair removal, instead of a moistener this is light and soothing for after when the skin is 'naked'. To be honest the only thing i don't like is the scent, as i do not like lavender, however having said this, it isn't too over powering

Perfect Skin Hydration

I love this product because just a spritz of it makes my skin feel cool, refreshed and it adds a bit of hydration. It has a beautiful and gentle feminine fragrance which is something that I also love. I use this product every day now and have done for the past month - so it will need topping up again. Definitely love it a lot. I haven't seen any improvement in my skin other than it helps for an immediate boost of hydration which suits me perfectly being a dry skinned girl.

Tips: I spray some of this onto my stipple brush before blending foundation - it helps to blend the foundation into skin and helps with maintaining some moisture rather than using a dry brush.

Trilogy Hydrating Mist Toner

I use a lot of Trilogy products and this is one of the latest ones I have tried.

I use it after cleansing in the evening and it is so refreshing. You will have to hold the bottle a decent distance from your face to get the spray effect, or you will be a bit dissapointed with the result.

The glass bottle is typical Trilogy brown glass and the spray nozzle is easy to use and does not clog.

The fragrance, I feel is quite similar to a lot of Trilogy products, pleasantly inoffensive.

I am very happy with the results and this will continue to be a part of my beauty routine.

Trilogy Hydrating Mist Toner

I love the convenience of this being in a spray, it makes it so easy to use. The product feels lovely and refreshing on. Use it morning and night but also great as a freshen up on a hot day.

Lovely Hydrating Toner

I was fortunate enough to receive this toner free when purchasing some other Trilogy products. I really liked this toner and applied after cleansing and before applying my rosehip oil or moisturiser. You can also apply throughout the day to cool and refresh or spray your makeup brush to help foundation go on with ease. Although in the past I haven’t really felt the need to use a toner it was a nice addition to my skin care routine. Spray it away from your face (approx. 30cm) and allow it to dry before applying your moisturiser, which doesn’t tend to take long at all. This products comes in a beautiful glass bottle with pump which I found made application very simple. This toner has quite a botanical scent i.e. rose, geranium and lavender I am not usually a huge fan of this particular scent but found it quite gentle and not overpowering and would definitely repurchase. This would be particularly great in Summer to spritz on my face throughout the day to refresh and leave skin looking fresh and dewy.

First time using a toner

This was the first toner I ever tried and I will now forever use a toner in my skincare routine. I had been interested in Trilogy as a brand and their products always smell nice and fresh, so I thought I would give this a go. The packaging is really nice it comes boxed. The bottle is a frosted red/brown colour with a sprayer which I like as I can control how much product I'm using a bit better than say if it was just a pour top. I use this as a part of my night routine and anytime I just want to freshen up my face when I'm wearing makeup. The smell is really nice like a mix of rose and lavender, now I HATE lavender but its not offensive in this at all. It makes my skin feel sooo nice, leaves it soft feeling and not tight like a lot of toners do. Tried and true for me. If you've been on the fence because it is a bit pricey wait until you have your 200pts at farmers and give it a go, you won't regret it.

Beautiful Product

I started using the Hydrating Mist Toner a couple of weeks ago and it's beautiful! The way it is dispensed startles me though but I'll get used to it.

It leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed and I've been out and brought two more Trilogy products since using this one, it was my first and now I'm sold on them. I like to buy a complete range of skincare so they can work synergistically and therefore get the maximum results.

I'm going back on Weds to buy the Line Smoothing Day Cream which should be great compliment to the little roll on bottle of Eye Recovery Concentrate I started using just yesterday.

I think it smells lovely too but that's a personal preference I'm sure.

Tips: Do hold it away from your face the first few times you use it, it really can be a little startling but it's cooling and refreshing which is lovely. The only downside that I've noticed is that it doesn't go very far, or else my skin is really dry and just soaks it up. I've already used about a quarter of the bottle so it will run out in about a month I would think.

It's not overly expensive though and if you're like me and like to use the whole range it's a definite must.

One last note, if you buy two Trilogy products you get this free at the moment at most pharmacies I noticed. Not in Farmers though, they have a different GWP on at the moment. It pays to shop around.

Trilogy Mist Toner

I was given this barely used and was stoked to receive it. I figured out where it needed to slot into my current beauty routine with serums and oils and moisturiser etc and set about using it. Over the few weeks I used this my skin got worse and worse. My skin broke out which is so unlike my skin and I had to stop using it. To be honest I have quite an extensive beauty routine as it is and this just seemed like another step in a very long process. Holding the bottle far enough away from my face ensured that it came out and settled like a mist and it didn't take long to dry. I found the mist came out a bit uneven so would have to do a few sprays to get a full face of it. I wasn't to keen on the scent of this as with almost every Trilogy product it has lavender in it and because I don't like it that's what stands out to me. Overall this didn't really suit me so I stopped using it after a few weeks. I may use it again in the near future just to make sure the breakout wasn't coincedence with when I started using it.
