This product is easily absorbed and after a week I started to apply morning and night. It’s very thin, so even though the packaging advises using with your finger tips, I ended up applying straight onto my face with the dropper - small amounts in various places to avoid it running down my cheeks. It has gives a velvety texture once applied and is fantastic as a base for make-up. I didn’t notice an overly strong odour, but you do need a good cleanser to remove daily as over the course of the second week I did notice my pores were starting to get blocked. It definitely helped to even out the dry patches around my nose and cheeks from the constant wearing of masks in the current climate. I would recommend for a dry/normal skin tone.

Tips: Apply small amounts directly to the skin, to avoid the product running through your fingers.
What I instantly liked was the "Made in New Zealand" on the front as well as stating no parabens, harsh chemicals etc. Packaging is cute - dusty pink/orange. Instructions are easy, apply serum after toner and before moisturiser day or night. Now to the serum - 20ml bottle which sounds small but its a decent size! Glass dropper with pump action lid - dropped a couple drops into palm of my hand and was really surprised at how light the liquid is almost same consistency as water. Scent is devine..similar to my sweet navel orange oil. First use as per instructions 3-4 drops onto fingertips but found the liquid drips off easily so lost a little and used the remaining quickly. Very easy to get coverage with that amount as a little goes far! Loved the texture and scent! After only a few days noticed a bit of heat and irritation (I am prone to dry sensitive skin in winter) gave it a break for a couple days (used intensive moisturiser to get on top of dry patches etc. which helped) resumed serum and was a bit better. I've ended up changing how I use it which has been great - instead of dropping onto fingertips I drop directly onto my skin from the dropper and press in with fingertips across my face. Overall I haven't noticed much difference but feel this needs more time. I struggle with melasma (dark skin pigmentation patches) which is not easily treated so am hopeful this added to the itinerary will be helpful.
Tips: I use the dropper to decant directly onto my skin - a drop on each cheek and forehead is enough for coverage.
I would apply the Essano Vitamin C Super Glow Facial Oil directly onto my skin before applying the rest of my skincare routine as felt this was best to target those problem areas specifically my cheeks in which I have Rosacea.
It has a devine smell. I was pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to apply and only took about 2-3 drops to spread out evenly.
It also leaves a lovely glow to your face, true to its name.
This product is really nice to use, it smells so good, its a tad greasy so less is more when you are using it . I found I used a little more at night rather than in the morning before I put my makeup on just didn't want my makeup to feel as if it was slipping off . I've been using it for about a week now and have notice how my skin appears brighter, I would consider buying the product
Tips: Less is more!!
When I first opened the bottle and saw the eye dropper I was worried that it would be very messy to use, however this was not the case. It was easy to apply and although the product is quite runny it did not drip like I thought it would. The smell of the product is divine I absolutely love it. When first applied it appears really greasy on the skin and I was concerned with how oily my skin looked but it does not take long to soak in leaving my skin feeling soft and looking moisturised. The product claims to give the skin a nice glow but I failed to notice any change in the look of my skin. My skin definitely feel softer though. I don’t get a lot of pimples so I was a little surprised to have two pimples over the period of using this product. This may have been due to external reasons and being under a lot of stress but it’s not normally something I have a problem with. As my skin felt great and smelt great after using the product I might try it again but I wasn’t entirely convinced that it does what it claimed to do.
The bottle looks like any other facial oil with a dropper as the lid. The lid on first opening was a little fiddly as the seal didn't break properly, but once open this wasn't a problem. It has a very gentle and not over powering scent, but definitely a light smell. I have used more quality droppers on oils and this one felt a little cheep when being used. The oil was easy to rub in and as with most facial oils a little does go a long way. I didn't see any major differences after using this product. I think maybe with more continuous use the results will be easier to see.
I was given this as a trial and I used this 5 times a week, it smelt quite nice and was quite easily absorbed into the skin, didn't really leave a very greasy feeling. The rubber pump is very soft and thin, so quite difficult to use, you can easily squeeze out too much. After using this for the entire trial period, I don't feel my skin changed in anyway, but also didn't have any breakouts or clogging of skin, so probably not something I see myself investing in.
This product smells amazing. It’s sweet and citrusy and makes it stand out from other vitamin C products. That being said, I have somewhat sensitive skin so am not a fan of scented products. I’ve found this hasn’t broken me out though, so that’s a plus! This oil is super lightweight so you can use it in the mornings, which is when it’s recommended to use. I have super dry skin so I actually prefer a heavier facial oil but I think this will be great for those with oily skin! Though this product doesn’t make me flow, I do think this is helping with fading my dark spots. I use this in the morning after cleansing, and then I follow with a moisturiser and spf. Overall a lovely smelling product that I think does help fade dark spots, but I don’t think I’ll get used to using heavily scented products on the daily.
So I’ve tried a couple of mid price range vitamin c oils/serums so I was excited to give this one a go. I checked other reviews and read up on the product. Everything seems fairly positive so perhaps this is just me. Packaging is convenient with a dropper. Good price point. The actual product itself I found a bit too runny so have to be super careful handling. Nice light fruity fragrance. Nothing too strong. Nice and light feeling to apply but I didn’t personally find it overly hydrating. It sat fairly oily on my skin but didn’t absorb overly well. I used this morning and night as it says and had no irritation or breakouts so there’s a plus if you normally break out with similar products. Overall I’m not a huge fan I’m sad to say
Clickbait title alert! This oil doesn't really give you rosy cheeks, but it makes them SMELL rosy. Not an old-timey, faded potpourri, grandmother's wrinkly hands sort of smell, but an uplifting, frolicking in summer fields sort of smell. Rather nice actually.
This oil is very light and goes a loooong way. Four drops is enough, which means this bottle is going to last forrrrevvverrrrr. I applied after toning with a spritzer spray. If I'm late with the moisturiser, all that wet spray evaporates off leaving my skin feeling tighter and drier than before. BUT if you add some drops of Essano Vitamin E oil, it holds all that moisture in. And then I have longer to faff about before moisturising.
The oil is quite a nice step to include in the nightly routine and although I didn't use it every day, I liked how it made my skin feel softer. I'm not sure about the 'super glow', although it definitely gives a dewy look - because it's oil, der.
I was hoping the Vitamin C boost would help lighten my pesky dark melanin spots on my cheekbones, but it didn't make much of a difference there during the trial weeks (thank you BR for the opportunity to trial this product!). Here's hoping a longer useage time makes more of an impact.
All in all, I would say this product is definitely a 'nice to have' - it's inexpensive, you can buy it from the supermarket, it smells lovely and it's a little luxury boost for a tired skin routine.
Tips: There's a fine line between dewy and oil slick. A little goes a long way! I'd use it at nighttime rather than the day - I feel that oil plus sun equals ouchy burn.
