NIVEA Visage Q10 Anti Wrinkle Day Cream Review

This Day Creme is quite a nice all rounder. For one it has the SPF protection in it which I think is really important when it comes to protecting against skin damage. It seemed like quite a heavy cream but it was readily absorbed and left my skin soft and moist feeling. At first I found the scent overpowering but I've come to quite like it over time. As for wrinkle reduction; I don't think it's a miracle cream - I've been using it for close to a month now and haven't notice a visible difference. But I'll continue to use this product for its SPF protection and the way my skin feels after using.

Thumbs down I'm afraid....I have dry skin and the first few days it felt fine, but then I started to dry out a bit...looked more wrinkly than before! And then, in a strange twist, I started to get pimples...a lot of them round my chin....nothing to do with hormones or anything...this is all I can put it down to as when I discontinued using it they cleared up. However, I passed it on to my partner and he has found it ok...not as good as a high end brand, but adequate...he works outdoors a lot too so having a bit of spf in it is good for him. As it didn't have much of a fragrance it probably worked well for him too. (Whereas the Nivea men's products tend to be highly fragranced and a bit off putting) Packaging was just the standard Nivea thing....nothing fancy but does the trick...would be nice if it had a wee spatula instead of dipping my grubby wee paw into the pot though.

I was given a jar of this to review, and i am so glad i was picked! its awesome! When receiving it i was thinking that 50mls wasn't alot, but this spreads soo well that it will last ages. It has the standard Nivea smell, which isn't to bad, love the peach colour. now done to the results i got, using it everyday, it was very easy to use, and made my skin very soft and i noticed after a few weeks that the bags under my eyes have almost gone, and they were pretty dark. so im loving it now that i look almost human again :) overall my skin feels so much softer, and the signs of the beginning of wrinkles on the sides of my eyes have almost disappeared. i will be using this till it runs out.. then ill be buying more!

Was lucky enough to be sent this to trial, i was scepitcal as i have very dry skin and not alot seems to work for me. This was great with my dry skin, i found it left my face feeling very smooth and moisturised. I love the scent of this cream its very pleasent and not over powering. I have found some of my very fine lines have reduced and my skin does seem brighter than what it was when i first started trialing this product. i do love that it has an SPF in it as i think this is very important to help with anit-aging and just general good health for your face. I will more than likely purchase this again as i think its a good basic to have. you dont have to use much it goes along way which is brilliant as the tub will last for ages!

I reviewed this as part of a trial team and for the first week I thought that I'd found a reasonably priced replacement for my daytime moisturiser . . . unfortunately no.

After the first couple of days I noticed that I was getting extremely oily throughout the day, I was having to blot at least 3 times while I was at work! That is very unusual for me. Also I was tending to break out a bit too. In regards to the anti wrinkle claim - I didn't see any difference & I gave it a good month as well. Mine would be more fine lines than anything and I haven't noticed any changes.

I also found the smell a bit off putting, for some reason I kept getting whiffs of hair removal cream?

All in all, this one isn't for me - I think if you had a drier skin it might work as a good moisturiser.

I was so excited to recieve this as I have been getting right into my skincare over the last 12 months. I have never used any of the Nivea skincare range before as I was excited to try this brand out. I thought the packaging was good and not too bulky where it would take up alot of room on my counter. The cream itself looks like it has a slight peach tint, and has an awakening fragrance nothing too over bearing. It is a thick, non-greasy cream. Upon application the cream absorbs fast and is great at hydrating your skin with moisture which lasts all day. Works ohk under makeup. I think this product will be great for those warmer summer months as it has SPF 15 in it. Did it make much or any difference to my skin texture or appearance??? Not that I can see but it is great for hydrating the skin. Who would benefit from this product??? Those with combo to dry skin would love this.

I was excited to receive this little gem for review! I have seen for sale but never had the opportunity to try it before. My skin is dry, especially in winter, sensitive, but with problem breakouts every month.

For me, on the whole its an OK moisturiser. Nice packaging. Simple, clean effective looking. Nice wee pot, however, would prefer a pump bottle to prevent bacteria transfer from fingertips. The moisturiser is a medium weight, pleasant smell, absorbs fast, nice to use. However, I just don't see any EFFECTIVENESS. It stops my skin from drying out completely, but its no miracle cure. I can't see any visible reduction of wrinkles or spots. I look the same, but no wrinklier! Its a perfectly good moisturiser, just not THAT good. I have used other brands that actually make your skin feel smoother, and that you think, yes! it is working... However, after a month of use for this, my face is about the same. No drier, no oilier, no spottier, no wrinklier, no better! I am not sure how this moisturiser was voted best facial moisturiser, to me its on par with similar supermarket brands.

I seem to be on a constant search for the holy grail of moisturisers, I feel like I have almost tried them all. Some good, some not so. Nivea is a nostalgic brand that conjures memories of grandmothers dressing tables with a comforting familiar smell. This particular cream, whilst thick in texture like its predecessor was a little different. The fragrance for a start is definitely more zingy citrus, but more like a cleaning product than a freshly squeezed orange. A little over powering for my liking. A great price at under $20, and a little bit most certainly goes a long way with this rich creamy texture. Not a product I would recommend for a particularly oily skin (like mine) or even someone with a combination skin. I imagine better suited to a more mature/dryer skin. I tried it as a night cream instead and found this to be a better option (although I'm not sure using something with an spf in it at night is really the point). I can't say I noticed any difference in terms of the reduction of fine lines nor signs of ageing. So while it may deliver for some, for me it missed the mark. and so the search continues.

I have been on the search for a nice and light daily moisturiser that has spf in it. From my experience so many of them once the go over a certain spf they become thick and heavy feeling on the skin. Anything over spf just doesnt feel good. I enjoyed the feeling of this after I put this on my skin and I loved knowing that it had an antiwrinkle component in it. Not that I can safely say I noticed any less wrinkles, its a nice idea thinking I might be helping them. The only thing Im not a huge fan of is the heavy perfume in it. I have found with most Nivea products the perfume is a little overpowering. I have a sensitive nose and it doesnt take much to set it off especially in the morning. I also have had sensitive skin in the past so I would steer right away from anything so heavily perfumed. I wasnt a huge fan of the container, I prefer my moisturisers to come in a pump form. Less messy. It was maybe a little on the greasy side so those with oily skin would have trouble with it

I really liked this product. I loved the scent and how it makes my skin when I put it on. I'm not sure whether I had any less wrinkles from it though. But it make my skin feel really soft. I sometimes used it at night also.
