This is a beautiful cream with a nice consistency that is enjoyable to use. The packaging is beautiful and I love the aqua colour of the pot. It is a round pot with a screw lid. High quality.
It’s a nice consistency to apply - light to medium weight. You don’t need too much and I think the pot will last a while.
In terms of results, it’s too early to tell but all good so far. I can see that it will be good for sensitive skin - no irritation or stinging. Good hydration and good under makeup and sunscreen. In the week I’ve used it there is no magical improvements but I like this product and will consider repurchasing after finishing it.
I was lucky enough to trial this cream and I was a winner for me! I have the most sensitive skin - eczema around my eyes, plus skin gets intolerant of products quite quickly. It's really hard to find any beauty product that does what it says it will do AND is also ok for my skin. Thie Dr Lewinn's Recoverederm ticked the boxes though.
First impressions - little to no scent. There is a wee hint of product, but nothing overpowering or cloying. This gave me a great feeling that my trial of this product was going to be good. The cream is a nice consistency - a bit thicker than my normal day creams, but not as thick as a night cream.
Coverage - about average. Maybe a little less than I'd normally use. The product absorbs into the skin really quickly. It didn't tingle or burn and seemed to last most of the day.
Effectiveness - it's promoted as improving skin smoothness and condition in just one week. I didn't really find that. There was a noticeable difference when I touched my face though, it felt plumper (I don't know if that is the right word, lol), maybe softer is the word I want. I noticed my foundation seemed to glide on much better too. I didn't notice a change in fine lines or wrinkles though. It definitely slayed the dryness around my nose and my eczema around my eyes though, so plus plus!
The jar is aesthetically pleasing with a nice solid glass jar and shiny silver lid. But the looks of the jar means nothing if the product doesn't work right? Luckily for me, Recoverederm hit the spot. Unfortunately it's a little bit too expensive for me to justify buying it again at the moment, but I'll be making the most of this jar! And it will definitely go on the shopping list once we've recovered from the Covid financial hit.
Tips: No tips with the product per se, but remember this doesn't have an SPF so you'll want to add that in to your routine too.
