NIVEA Pure Effect 3-IN-1 Daily Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Wipe

I love these exfoliating wipes for removing make up! im not really sure if they exfoliate but the added bumps on the wipes really help remove my make up and i would definitely buy these again!

this really is gentle on the skin and i have experienced fantastic results. the cleanser deeply cleans my skin and makes the skin radiant and intensely fresh looking!

They worked well, smell nice and are soft on skin. Remove make up ok but not as great as other products.

Only problem I had with them is that for what they are and the fact that there is only 20 in a pack I find they are very over priced

I've tried using a few different face wipe products before, but I found that most of them were too gentle and wouldn't get off a lot of make up, or they weren't nourishing enough so I felt like my skin was getting a good cleanse. These manage to do both jobs of removing make up and exfoliating skin so that it feels clean, fresh and soft. These are really great for travel as they pack away nice and small, don't need water to use and won't leak everywhere. At $9.99 for 20, that's a cost of 50 cents each, so they're not too expensive, but cost more than liquid cleansers.

I generally don't use makeup wipes - I find them a bit harsh for everyday use, and prefer to use a good cleanser instead, with coconut oil to remove anything really stubborn. However, I unexpectedly had to go overseas for a couple of weeks recently, and didn't want to have to pack a big bulky bottle of cleanser, hence I picked these up at the supermarket. I used them daily for two weeks, so I have a pretty good idea of how I like them!.

Pros:

~They do remove makeup really well. I was only wearing concealer,blush, powder and mascara, so I can't vouch for how they'd stand up to foundation, etc, but for what I had on they did a good job at removing.

~The bumpy side is really nice for light exfoliating.

~Didn't irritate my skin/eyes. I don't wear waterproof mascara, so water was enough to get most of it off, but these wipes worked well for getting the last dregs off without stinging my eyes. (Obviously I didn't rub them directly in, or anything! :))

Cons:

~A little drying. Not too bad, and I usually have this problem with any kinds of cleansing products, but still not perfect.

Overall: I wouldn't use these daily, but I would consider picking them up again if I am going on a short holiday and want to save space by using a multi-tasking product.

I have used other face wipes and this one is the top of the list. It gets the makeup off. I'm a swimmer and like to go for a swim after work and let me tell you there is nothing more embarrassing than noticing that you didn't get all your makeup off and now you have giant panda eyes from the mascara. These wipes are compact so I can carry them with me and they smell so nice. They really get rid of the makeup without having to 'scrub' at your face and leaves you feeling fresh. I would not solely rely on the wipes as an way to exfoliate but instead would recommend a daily cleanse/exfoliate cream or product.

I use face wipes alot and love the Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes. I think these ones are probably not something I would buy again as they didn't really feel like they were doing much exfoliating and think I would be better off with using a face scrub.
