I've never used a skin oil before and it made no sense to me to wash my face then put oil back on it. But I did and it was wonderful!
I used it at night after cleansing with the cinnamon gel cleanser and then followed with the kale night cream. My skin looked so calm and dewy in the morning. No uneven skintones or blotchyness. Plus it smells pretty good too.
I didn't find it to be oily either, and my skin absorbed it right away. Loved it!
After having tried Essano’s amazing kale oil, I was double excited to try this one out. The oil had a spicy gingery scent to it, Which took me a little while to get use to. Although, the scent doesn’t linger for long, i don’t wear it during the day if planning on going out, in case the smell gets a bit disturbing for those with a super sense of smell. So i treat my skin with this in the evening before bed.
The oil was not as hydrating or nourishing as i thought most oils would be. Although it wasn’t nourishing enough for my dehydrated skin, my face did appear brighter and calmer. The oil was soothing and the scent was quite relaxing. So i started using it every second day after the kale one to ensure my face is still nicely nourished, or when my face looks a bit pinky or exhausted.
I have tried it under my bb cream before, and my complexion did seem brighter and had a more radiant look to it.
Overall, the unique scent is either you like it or you don’t. Probably no surprises for those who have already smelled turmeric before. It’s not a bad oil. Give it a go if you’ve never had turmeric before.
