Lush Avobomb Bath Bomb Review

For liveliness and softer skin. If you’re the sort who lounges in bed, Avobath is what you need to get you moving in the morning. It’s a refreshing ballistic with freshly mashed avocado and olive oil to treat your skin to a banquet, and lemongrass to stimulate sleepy brains. When you’re sluggish in the morning, get up and Avobath.

Get going!

I love baths I love having that 30 minutes of peace and quiet to myself closing the door and forgetting everything. I really should have read the description of this one properly before using it because it really does awaken you!

Upon opening the cellophane wrapper I am hit by zingy lemon and it's gorgeous it's not overpowering its just a good lemon hit. I pop it in the bath and soon the air is filled with lemon and I'm craving lemon meringue pie. This bath bomb has only a little bit of lustre in it and turns the bath water into a light pastel green.

I enjoy this bath bomb because the lemon is really refreshing and energising, left my skin feeling silky smooth and left a faint scent of the lemon on my skin. I really like this bath bomb and I think it is perfect when your feeling a bit blah or if you have lots of reviews on BR to write but you don't know where to start or what to write, have a bath using this bath bomb and it will get you reviewing like a champ!

I Could Take it, Or Leave it

The avobomb is actually a bath bomb twice in two separate lush gift packs, so right from the get go, it seems like this is one of the basic bath bombs that's including in most packs and deals, which must means it good right?

From first appearance, this bath bomb is a zingy light green colour, and is about the size of a tennis ball. Its not powedery, and doesn't have much fall out, which is saying something considering i had this is my collection for over 6 months before i used it.

The bath bomb smells fresh and invigorating, which i think is the lemon grass. It just smells zesty, so i can see why this bath bomb when be energizing and get you up and moving.

This bath bomb does not really explode when you put it into your bath, but it rather just fizzes away slowly which is nice.

As soon as you place this bath bomb in the water the fresh lemon grass scent becomes more strong and boy does it smell good! It turns the water a soft green colour, really subtle but its nice for a basic bath. The water does feel hydrating, and my skin does feel moisturize when i get out the the bath so another bonus.

This bath bomb is really nice, but its really.. boring for lack of a better word. This is a bath bomb i would use as a base, and i would mix it with another bath bomb to make a really lavish bath.

An instant classic, will always repurchase!

I'm a self confessed bath bomb addict, and although I love buying new bath bombs from lush I've never tried before, this is still one of my favorites which i keep returning to.

Looking at it, its a simple green sphere. The smell always reminds me of lemon icing (probably because it contains lemongrass) and is super zesty! It fizzes nice and gently in the bath, and turns the water a beautiful shade of green.

I use this bath bomb as a pick-me-up, it is not so much relaxing like some of Lush's other bath bombs, but invigorating and energizing! perfect way to start the day, rather than end it :)

It doesn't contain any glitter, secret notes, hidden colours, or anything extra special like some of their others, but i think it smells and feels so good it just doesn't need any extras. :)

Also it makes my skin feel nice and soft afterwards, as it contains olive oil and avocado :)

Tips: Because this bath bomb does not contain a solid core, I often cut it in half and use it for two separate baths to stretch my lush budget further!

Lush Avobomb Bath Bomb

I've only used this once but I really enjoyed it. It's a very soothing bath bomb with a nice light scent. Perfect for a relaxing pamper evening to treat yourself. It's not my favorite scent from lush but it is nice when you've been feeling stressed and need a soothing scent to unwind and calm down. It worked wonders for my skin as I have normal to slightly dry/sensitive skin. After using it my skin felt so soft and silky like I have just moisturized, it's a really nice product and I definitely want to re-purchase it soon.

Avobomb

Avobomb is probably my top Lush bath bomb which is a pretty big thing to say seeing as I can't seem to pass a Lush store without grabbing at least one bath bomb to add to my collection. I don't think I've tried a bath bomb from Lush that I don't like, they all smell wonderful and have different qualities that make them delightful in their own way. Avobomb is just an all-round perfect ball of fizz starting with it's invigorating scent of sweet, yet tangy lemongrass that will wake you up and clear your head, to the super soft moisturised skin it leaves you with. Unlike some of the other available bombs, I find Avobomb doesn't leave a not so pretty green ring around the bath which is a big plus for me! no one really wants to be cleaning the bath after a relaxing soak.

Tips: When I'm feeling congested or have a flu/cold, Avobomb is my go to guy to plop in the bath

Relaxing

Really love this Lush bath bomb. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and luxurious. A very beautiful lemongrass smell. To be honest, when i first heard of this bath bomb i thought ew why would i want my bath to smell like avocado but boy was i mistaken. I use this bath bomb when im planning a nice pampering evening with myself as it leaves me relaxed and smelling delicious.

Avobomb

This is the first bath bomb I ever tried from lush, Personally I only used half of it because I felt like it was a waste to use the whole thing in one go. The bath bomb is very fresh and has a strong lemongrass scent. After using it I really did feel a my skin was really nice and soft so I would definitely reccomend this.

Surprisingly good!

The name of this bath bomb, yes describes the bath bomb but also isnt as exciting as the other ones in the Lush range which can sound more appealing. It also isnt the most exciting looking bath bomb, no crazy colours or glitter just a solid green colour. BUT dont let this deceive you! This bath bomb smells delicious and this is one of the main aspects that made me choose it over its fancier family members! It has a lovely fresh scent great for a morning bath or even as a unwinder in the evening . It leaves your skin feeling super super smooth!

Nice in a morning bath

I've been a Lushie for years but have only recently rediscovered bath bombs. I'm usually more of a bubble bar girl. What turned my head was realising just how soft bombs leave your skin. No need for body lotion afterwards has me sold!

I hadn't tried this bomb before as it doesn't stand out from the pretties in store and the name just doesn't do it justice. It's packed with avocado but that's not its main scent. I always find it quite hard to pick out the scent of individual items instore too. The lovely Lush assistant recommended this one to me as I was feeling under the weather. I'd also just ordered the matching shower gel from the Lush Kitchen in the UK on the basis that it was lemongrass based and might wake me up in the mornings.

This bomb doesn't put on much of a show and just gently fizzes away. It does leave your skin lovely and soft though. These benefits continued until my next bath the following day. My skin actually felt like I had used a body oil or butter on it. I used half each time and this was enough (I paired the second half with my avoshower when it arrived). It turns the bath a milky green. Apparently there's glitter in there but I don't see any evidence of it.

Whilst this bomb didn't give me the get up and go I was hoping for (let's face it, I'm looking for a miracle, not a bomb!) it makes a refreshing morning bath.

Tips: Probably cheaper than a real avocado right now!

Great!

I love this bath bomb for a nice relaxing day, usually I go for the pretty ones with heaps of different colours but this bath bomb is so relaxing and nice that I had to pick it up and I loved it!
