Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion Review

This is a light lotion however it does its job. Your skin absorbs the lotion and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated! I use this everyday and I have used this for years. It's my go to moisturizer

I use this moisturiser daily and it does the job nicely, hydrates your skin and doesn't leave it oily. It's quite pricy for its size but works well.

It is quite a light moisturiser for me as my skin tend to be a bit dry. It didn't last long as I needed to apply it again soon. Plus it is a bit pricey for the size.

I first discovered this moisturiser overseas during a really cold northern winter. I bought it because my skin was dry and scaly and I noticed a significant improvement when I used it. I was stoked when it arrived in NZ and use it all the time and always get good results.

The aveeno moisturizing range is by far the best one I've ever come across. I used this, bottle after bottle before discovering the 'dry skin' aveeno moisturizer, and it was amazing. It's hydrating, and it soaks into the skin so nicely. It doesn't leave any oily residue after applying, and it's so easy to rub in, unlike a lot of moisturizers when you're sitting there trying so hard to massage to cream into your skin. I absolutely love this product. It's the perfect 'all over moisturizer'. Wouldn't be without my aveeno!!

I'm an eczema sufferer so always on the look out for things to help, which is what initially attracted me to Aveeno - Good for every use and non fragranced. I've been using it for years now! I use a pea size for my face everyday, and because it's noncomodegenic it doesn't clog pores or cause break outs.

It really does help me keep on top of my eczema, sure it's no cure but the main thing with eczema is trying to keep big flares at bay - this moisturiser does that.

loved this always use to use it untill my skin got use to it and it started making my skin go oily quite fast. For me it was good for a short time then change to something else then went back to it and it was good again :)

+ First Impressions : Clean, fresh, well labelled bottle with handy pump that can be locked to save any messy mishaps. I love the look of all the Aveeno products. I also have a couple of tubes of this for travel, it's that brilliant.

+ Product : I have seriously sensitive, easily irritated, red, blotchy and eczema prone skin. I have used this lotion for years and it is fantastic for daily application when my skins not going through a bad patch (in which case I switch to the beyond fabulous Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion as it just has that little bit of extra hydration). I apply 2 or 3 times a day to my hands and also on my arms and legs after showering. I find this works best when my skin is still a little bit damp as it locks in the moisture better. I like that it doesn't really have a smell too, I tend to get sick of lotions that have added fragrance. Only reason I can't give this 5 stars for effectiveness is because my skin can be SO dry it's not quite enough on it's own to fix the problem - I am sure if it was more on the normal side it would most certainly get a perfect score.

+ Tips: One thing I will say is you do not need to over apply as it will just sit on your skin if you use too much.

The first few times I used Aveeno I was amazed buy the texture of my normally dry skin but I have noticed that about an hour after application it leaves a very light powdery/clay like finish on my skin. It doesn't look bad but I don't like the feeling and can't resist touching it which can leave small streaks.

It does make my skin look beautiful and feel good initially but only when first applied after that it is no better than any other moisturiser.

Also I did not notice and improvement in my clean skin after prolonged use. Once you rinse it off my skin is just as dry and damaged as day one.

I use Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion on a daily basis for body lotion and I also use it on both of my children who have sensitive skin and they are both prone to eczema. I love that it has no smell and that it absorbs quickly into the skin. It's a regular on my shopping list, a little more expensive than other moisturisers but worth it in my opinion.
