I’ve used the Moroccan oil product line. This product smells delicious and locks in moisture before blow waving and straightening my hair. Also works great for little grizzlies

Don't get me wrong, this IS a good product, but I just don't understand the hype about it (or the price tag!).
I received a trial size of this a couple of years ago, in a Beauty Box. I was quite stoked, it had just come out and was creating a real buzz in the Beauty world, so I felt privileged to be able to try it.
First up, my goodness, the scent is divine. A very subtle vanilla/cocoa fragrance.
I only need to use a very tiny amount, lightly combed through the mid lengths and ends of my hair (using my fingers).
I prefer to use this on my damp hair, and then blow dry and style afterwards.
I think it must be because my hair is so fine, that I just don't get the same results that others rave about. I love the idea of these types of products, but I'm yet to find one that doesn't leave me looking like an oil slick by the end of the day.
Because of the high price tag, and mediocre personal results, I wouldn't purchase this product.
Tips: Fine hair? Avoid your roots and use sparingly! Less is definitely more with this stuff.
I did enjoy my Morrocan oil experience, enough to finish my whole bottle (which lasted for a good nine months!).
I would use the morrocan oil by working it in the ends of my damp hair, putting my hair up in a head towel and leaving it to soak in while my hair dried naturally. This left my hair nice and shiny and healthy looking for approximately one day. I have quite fine hair, but I also have the problem of having quite a lot of it, and I could never find the balance of putting enough in so that it was effective, and not putting to much in so that my hair looked incredibly greasy on day two.
In the end, while I liked how soft and shiny it made my hair look on day one, I found that t was not having any noticeable repairing effect on my hair and left me unwilling to pay the high price for the product.
Tips: Use sparingly!
Love the SMELL of moroccan oil - its gorgeous! Product instantly made my hair shiny & looking great however the following day it would feel dirty & oily. I have dry hair (bleach blonde & thick) so normally after I straighten it I would use a hair shine or serum & it would be good for 2-3 days. I have to wash my hair the following day using Moroccan oil.
Tips: A little goes a long way!
Thought I loved it. Then It became a part of my regular hair care regime and now I think it's just making my hair a little greasy (and yes I only use it mainly on my ends) and doesn't seem to be delivering on what it should.. No repair, no shine, not feeling nourished anymore. Maybe it was something that my hair just got used to??
I have fine, oily prone hair so I was a little septical about using this product on my hair but I gave it ago anyway but unfortunately this product is not right for my hair. My hair looked and felt great for the first hour or so after applying the oil but it went downhill from there. My hair became really greasy and looked unwashed so I had to tie it back to try and hide the mess. I imagine this product would be great for thick not oily prone hair but It's just not for me.
Used this when it first came out and while it did help my hair, I had to wash my hair far more frequently as it made it heavy and greasy. Perhaps what it needed really but not conducive to a quick morning routine!
Tips: Tiny bit goes a long way - but it also feels great on the skin!
I have super fine hair and I could be using this all wrong but each time I have been game enough to give it a go my hair is super greasy the I have to go a re wash it which is a Mish! Need to read so e advice I think but for me it's a no
I brought this product in the hopes that it would make my hair glossy and have less frizz. To be honest I must be the only person who doesn't like this product (as per the reviews on here) the product made my hair quite heavy (I didn't put much in) and I didn't like the smell. The next day after using it I didn't notice any difference except that my hair looked quite oily. I would not buy again
Excellent product love the way it leaves your hair feeling nourished and healthy. Its good to use before you straighten your hair, leaves it shiny.
Tips: You only need to use a small amount it spread really well.
