Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Review

i brought this product to replace my Maybeline Falsies Mascara to see if it was a good as that, and i have to say i was disappointed. I felt that it didn't give me anymore volume than just a standard mascara, and i always felt that it irritated my eyes after a while, then have my eyes water leaving me with smudged mascara down my cheek.

This is a great mascara for me. although i do love all the maybelline mascaras. it like the wand as i find it gives me quite alot of definition to my lashes. i do alway use it in conjunction with the maybelline falsies as that my holly grail mascara. i find the two together gives my=e defined volumised thickened lashes :)

I had a friend rave on about this so much that when I saw it on sale at a Makeup Clearance Sale I decided to grab it. Lucky for me I did grab it on sale and didn't pay full price for it as I was highly disappointed. It just didn't do any justice for my eyelashes, I hated how the wand bends which doesn't make for an easy application. Overall I would not purchase at full price if its your first time buying it. Maybe it just isn't my type of mascara but if you are wanting to buy it, buy it on SALE!!!

i found the first time i used it i loved it, but after that it kind of done nothing for me, it didnt wow me like i was hoping for

It wasnt a wow product for me, maybelline mascaras tend to be a little thick and I found it a little cakey. Its a good over coat but I try to avoid using too much.

I have short lashes so change mascara often to try and find one that I enjoy. This is pretty good although the bendy wand takes a bit of getting used too and it often has little fibres/clumps in it. I can't seem to get it to apply nicely on my inner corner lashes. Not the best for doing multiple coats as it gets a bit clumpy/flaky. I hate how hard it is to remove ... Major panda eyes!!

My experience with this mascara was actually opposite as it was described to be. I found it very hard and clumpy, and taking it off was extremely irritating to my skin (and mentally). Not worth the money.

I found that it need what it said it would, gave my lashes volume and actually did thicken to make them appear to be false lashes. There was also no irritation, no smudging or flaking. Downfalls include drying out, it doesn't last very long once initially opened and also it took a few attempts to remove, even though it doesn't state that it is waterproof, needed some eye makeup remover and a couple of pads to remove successfully.

I found this so annoying to use, the part of the brush that gives is a pain. I felt like I could never get right into the root of the lashes or get a good swipe from root to tip. I'd get frustrated really fast and end up getting mascara in every direction. Not a fan.
