Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner Review

Every single time bar the most recent, this has smudged immediately. Not even exaggerating. It has actually been immediately. The last time I used this last week, I was messing around with crazy make up and used it, and it went on perfectly, and stayed perfect for a good five minutes before I removed it. It is a beautiful eyeliner, goes on smooth and gorgeous, but my only problem is the crazy smudging.

I like this product however i dont know if i am just bad at using it but it never seems to go on dark on thick enough, it looks quite worn and almost like its old make up on my eyes, i keep trying it on different occasions but it just doesnt seem to work for me

This product is beautiful although I struggle to apply much eyeliner as I have a very unsteady hand and this just seems to go everywhere. I also always have very sore eyes and irritated eyes so I can never get away with giving them a rub without smudging this everywhere. I ended up giving away to a friend who is in love with it! I wish I could have continued use as it looks amazing. Just wasn't for me.

I have semi oily lids and this gel liner didn't last long for it to smudge around my eyes. Even with primer on, it smudge at the corners of my eye. It isn't that bad but I really don't like it when eye liners gather around the corners of my eye. It is not for me. The pros for this product though are it is very black and glides on smoothly when applied.

I have hooded lids and I found the gel to transfer easily, although I think it was very good for a more defined look. :)

I wasn't completely convinced with this product. It goes on easy enough, but maybe just that my skin is a bit oilier, it didn't stay put like I though it would. It tended to smudge quite easily and I found that I had to go over it with a black eyeshadow to stop it from smudging. Does give quite a good sharp flick though.

I liked this before I saw the light. My problem with it is that it doesnt wear as well as I wanted. I found it smudged to easily and by the end of the day was faded. I have since moved on to my current gel eye liner which I swear by.

I wasn't overly impressed with this product I found it quite hard to apply mainly. The formula is thick and I found it sat really heavy. It stats true to word and dosent budge and is very intense. Overall if u can handle the weight it is a nice product.

Honestly, I am ho-hum about this. I wanted to love it as its actually not a bad price for the amount of product ...but I just found it to dry out really quickly (even though I was vigilant in popping the lid back on) and become quite difficult to use. The brush that comes with it is pretty awful - very hard to create a thin line with it. It smudges and transfers to the top of my lid. Sigh.

I bought this as it was on offer, and though it would be good for trying cat-eye eyeliner for the first time. When i bought it I wish I bought a new brush as well - the one that comes with it is really awkwardly shaped to try and get a thin sharp line. It was good for my first few attempts - its easily removed with a make up wipe. It's definitely something I'm looking to replace asap.
