This bb cream has fantastic coverage and the best aspect of this product for me was that the shade 'light' was truly that - very pale, neutral toned and not orange like all the others I have tried. The only downfall for me was that I have normal-dry skin and this emphasizes all of my flakes, dry spots and pores but If you have oily skin and are looking for good coverage and a truly matte finish this is your BB cream.

Received full size from Her Fashion Box couple weeks ago and have been quiet impressed. I don't have oily skin more mature sensitive skin. I have the medium which matched my skin tone really well, I actually tried 2 different ways to apply, first with my fingers, felt very silky smooth and covered nicely, then with my blender sponge which I much preferred, gave a better coverage.
Now did it do all 8 things it has listed, not quite, didn't feel it covered all my imperfections but still I will continue to wear on its own in summer. I felt it was great under my foundation, now that was a great combination, covered all my imperfections then. I've been wearing since I received it and when it runs out will definately re-purchase.
I kept umming and aahing as to whether to try this, but Countdown had a special on so I thought I would give it a go.
The packaging is a little average, maybe that's me just being fussy - I like pretty packaging. The formula is good, comes out of the tube smoothly and goes on really well, blends easily. (I tried with both a brush and my fingers and found my fingers easier to apply it)
I have fairly oily skin and suffer from breakouts quite frequently. I found that this had enough coverage for my reddish acne scars and light blotches, but definitely didn't have enough cover for my blemishes like some other BBs do. I ended up using some concealer, and I did set with a powder as well.
Would recommend it for light to medium coverage, but if you have a few blemishes you probably wont get enough cover from this alone.
Tips: Careful around the eyes because of the salicylic acid!
This bb cream is a light weight and quite runny but pretty good coverage and buildable and also very blendable. So is pretty okay for the price. Very good for day to day wear as it is light. I like it and would recommend it as a very good BB cream.
Tips: Apply it with fingertips.
this has really good coverage for a bb cream but it still feels light and non greasy and oily the colour range is a bit off thoe :(
Tips: use a sponge
Negatives first: it is made for oily skin but I do still get shiny after a couple hours. Okay, positives, medium coverage that evens out skintone, can be used as a light faoundation, great for under foundation as a 'tinted primer'. Nice packaging and portable - chuck it in your handbag for touchups!
Tips: Pat a little bit extra product under the eye for those dark circles :)
This product was given to me as a bday pressie from my older sister who uses it. I do enjoy this product and feel that it gives a lot more coverage than the dream fresh bb cream from maybelline, but this product says it's recommended for oily skin and found that some days it actually MADE my skin feel and look oily. I don't think I would use this product again but would recommend it to people looking for good coverage from a light weight product.
Tips: Definitely learn what skin type you have before buying this, or ANY face product and even then, don't take what company's say as gospel. The description for thîs product said it was for people with oily skin which I have, and it didn't help with the oilyness, almost made it worse. It wasn't the bb cream for me.
This product is great for beginners, offers good coverage, but doesn't look like you're wearing too much makeup. Although, it has a bit of an orange tint to it and there are only a small number of shades to choose from. Overall I found this product okay, but it would be a lot easier to work with if there were a larger range of shades.
i brought this when it was on special at farmers when BB creams were the new in thing. i found it was ok and the spf made me feel better about using it instead of my usual foundation. it is alot thinner and doesnt do anything for uneven skin tone but a reasonable coverage for a BB cream. i found i had to use a finishing powder to minimise the shine and was only suitable for day wear. it is best applied with your fingers or a sponge as it is quite runny and i find that a brush leaves streaks instead of soaking into skin as well.
I love the Maybelline bb cream for; no-makeup makeup days, or when I want to let my skin breathe without heavy foundation. I have tried out a couple of other bb creams and this is my favourite. It's also super affordable! When I began using it years ago - when I was 17. I applied it with my fingers, which worked fine. These days I use a beauty blender. A small layer applies evenly, smoothing pores and hiding redness and scarring. It does not exaggerate texture, and feels creamy and light. Other bb creams I've tried feel thick and greasy.
You can set it with powder, however I usually leave it bare to allow my skin to breathe. It dries down to a natural-semi matte finish. It also contains salicylic acid, to treat and reduce breakouts, while being worn. Therefore it is good for oily or young skin types. I have combination skin. If you have mature or dry skin, the other bb cream in the pink bottle and satin finish may be a better fit for you.
