Lush Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb Review

Candy-scented fizzer

The original Easter egg-shaped bath bomb, Fluffy Egg is a classic customer favorite that we bring back every year for its masses of incredibly loyal fans. While we love the cheery pink color, it’s the intoxicating candy-sweet aroma that will really draw you in to its fluffy ways! Pop this one in the tub to sink deep into softening, brilliantly pink water—you’ll be left smelling like scrumptious vanilla cotton candy. Delicious!

Super sweet

I love the smell of this one, smelled just like candy floss and vanilla. Very cute and was quite pretty as it fizzed away the bath water turned a very bright pink, very cute and girly.

Not fluffy, but soft!!

I bought this in the mad Easter dash from Lush online, and it arrived in a timely manner. The bright pink little egg had me enamored the moment I saw it online, and I knew that it shared it's scent with Snow Fairy. It also looked like the Think Pink bath bomb lush make, which is also bright pink with candy flowers (yes, they're edible!) but they do not share the same scent.

The little egg was quite cute and it took me a while to want to use it. The delightful patterns around the outside, as well as the cute candy flower just gave it a super girly look, and the sweet smell was an added bonus.

The bomb plopped into the water and fizzed away, but as I had left mine for a while it fizzed but it also kinda fell short. It colored the water a gorgeous bright pink color which faded slightly as it spread out, the Snow Fairy scent quite mild and not as in your face, which was quite nice. It left my skin feeling delightfully smooth, soft, and my body warmed to the core (as the day was quite chilly).

Given the option, I would use this again, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Wasn't that impressive

This is probably one of those Lush bath bombs that sit at the bottom of my favourite list, if they were the only thing left in the bath bomb department I'd buy it as I love Lush bath bombs and get pretty cranking if I don't get at least one Lush bath in each week.

This egg shaped bath bomb has a very vivid pink exterior that got me really excited of visions of deeply dyed bath water, with a "icing" effect around the outside made with different colours in shapes like flowers.

The smell is very familiar to snow angel which I like, but isn't over the top with the fragrance which makes it really easy to relax in, yet retain that girly feeling.

Once the egg shaped bomb hits the water it puts on a geyser of a show, fizzing and frothy up in bubble mass of raspberry pink, but as it plunges deeper and starts to wan, it loses the fizz and the colour mutes down to a soft rose petal pink. Without any swirls of colour, or glitter, there is no bang with this bomb and that is what let's it down I like my bath time to be a show. It also didn't really leave the water softly tainted like normal bombs where the water somehow becomes this creamy texture that softens your skin as you soak.

Personally feel that this is created and marketed at younger girls and teenagers.

Sparkle-less Snowfairy?

Easter comes around and aside from jumping for joy at the prospect of yummy chocolate I was also eager to see what goodies Lush had peeping out of the virtual shopping cart.

So online I went and I must have been giddy at the lack of chocolate at that point and a whole lot of Easter-themed delights bounced into my cart. I grabbed three of these straight off the bat... I mean they said that they smell like candy... with out any guilt (mummas know that guilt of eating candy sneakily, trying not to get pinged by the little-ones).

As soon as they arrived I had to unpack everything and add it to my stash in secret, somehow I had managed to buy a lot more than I had originally intended... oops. This was one of the first bombs from that order to venture out on it's own, post Easter. It is a small vibrant pink egg adorned with a pretty icing flower either side of it (some were red, some yellow), the familiar scent seeped from out from within the wrapper. It was timid at first, only fizzing away slowly, then faster until it fully frothed and foamed up the bath and left a beautiful scent that so many Lush Addicts scream out for... our beloved Snowfairy!! hearts filled my eyes. But as I swished and swirled the water... where is the tell tale glitter.. not a fleck to be seen [sigh] I love sparkles and this quickly made the squeals of joy stop. I do still enjoy this bath bomb but I also find it a bit underwhelming... It doesn't leave my skin silky soft, nor does it leave any shimmery goodness... but it is a delight to the nose and well, I do love that sweet candy smell.

No regrets buying as many as I did, I have since found bath-cocktails can be quite fun.
