Ruby Woo is divine, in the Retro Matte finish it stays put without dehydrating your lips. Bright, flattering and good for day or night - I love it! I really struggled to find a good red, but this will be my staple from now on.

I've always been a red lipstick wearer since doing dance competitions when I wars younger, so I always like to have a good red lippy on hand. I bought Ruby Woo last year, and can honestly say it's not my favourite purchase! Yes, the colour is amazing. Yes, it stays on for ages. But unfortunately it just goes horribly dry and feathers on my lips, even when I use a lip balm and lip liner.
I absolutely LOVE my Mac lippies! They are still hands down my favorite lipstick brand and I have tried a fair few! They have such an amazing range and they all have such great colour payoff! The only gripe that I would have about some of these is that the Matte lipsticks can be rather drying on my lips, but putting a good lip moisturizer underneath usually manages to fix this problem!
I went into the mac store asking for an alternative after my Clarins lipsticks kept snapping at the base after 2-3 weeks of use. I use lippi all day every day at work and it's important to have a long lasting lippi that doesn't bleed and jeeps lips moisturized. This covered my requirements and hasn't cracked let alone snapped. Very much recommend this product.
I cannot go past a MAC store without buying a new lippie. They are amazing. My favourite are the matte lipsticks, they stay on all day and night, with limited touch ups.
I have a few Mac Lipsticks - my favourite being Vegas Volt - a vibrant orangey pink. I find that they are all very pigmented and have a very consistent colour/formula. I also do not usually have to reapply my mac lipsticks very often which is very useful when I am on the go or at an event. They are not always the first lipsticks I choose, as most of the ones that I own are very statement colours (Diva, St Jermain etc) but nevertheless I still love them!
Tips: Apply with a lip brush - this way they are very build-able to be as opaque and rich in colour as you like
My favourite lipstick brand! Stays on all day and night. Would reccomend to anyone! MAC lipstick is very creamy just the way i like and makes your lips look full and luscious
I've tired a few MAC lippies and all have been really well pigmented and gorgeous colours. The matte finish type are extremely longwearing (I have Lady Danger which is a gorgeous statement red) and the creme sheens are super moisturising. Ony downside I have found with the lighter shade creme sheens (ie creme cup) is that if your lips are dry/flakey the pigment can be quite uneven in application, so good lip care is essential for it to look the best!
awesome colors and most are long lasting. so many to choose from an I love how you can choose if you want a matte finish or satin finish or even a cremesheen an frost. anyone can find one to suit them best.
I have a couple of tried and true shades that I love. My fav is Amplified Impassioned. It's such a stunning creamy bold pink, goes on and stays on like a dream. I purchased a handful of shades in the states and the price difference is catastrophic so it is a little bit soul destroying paying as much as we do here - however in saying that i wholeheartedly believe it is worth the extra money. I'd be hard pressed to choose between MAC and Limecrime.
