L'Oreal Color Riche Volume Matte Lipstick (vault shade sent at random)

This lipstick really is everything. Sleek packaging, im really loving the long slender shape, its elegant in black and gold, easy to carry in your purse, and love the embossed detail on the top.

The formula really is soft, comfortable and matte, its glides on beautifully, like velvet to your hand. The finish is smooth, and colour payoff is maximum. I find blending your lips together after application really helps the finished look.

I am excited to try other colours in the range now, and highly recommend everyone try it!

I was very excited to try this! The colour I chose did not suit me at all but this bears absolutely no weight in my opinion below.

The packaging is lovely and sleek. It looks like an expensive lipstick and easily slips into a purse or wallet.

The formula is smooth and glides onto the lips nicely. It doesn’t have a taste, which is also good. It has a soft light, buttery scent

The formula on my lips however, was quite cakey and not appealing. I tried it with lip balm applied first, with a lip liner and after exfoliating but it just didn’t look right no matter what I did.

I wouldn’t buy this product, even in another shade. I was quite disappointed with how it sat on my lips and it didn’t last very long. I had to keep reapplying throughout the day to keep the colour fresh

I received shade 103 Le Blush Audace. The first time I tried it on it was hard to tell how I felt because the shade did not look amazing against my pale skin that had minimal makeup on. I still wore it that day and omg it stayed on my lips for hours with out me reapplying, it even stayed on through me eating. I tried it again when I had a tiny bit of tan on and a full face of makeup and it was beautiful. It was matte but did not feel drying to me, it wasn’t overly hydrating but I was more impressed that it didn’t make my lips feel the way matte lipsticks usually do. I also really liked the way the lipstick smelt and it applied very nicely onto my lips.

From the first time I applied my L’Oréal Colour Riche Matte Lipstick I knew I was on to a spring/summer winner! This will see me through the upcoming festive season because of the epic colour – and I love it! I used the shade 187 Fuchsia Libre as I’m fond of pinker shades, but there are 12 colours in total to suit any person’s style or lip tone. The consistency of this moisturising lipstick feels quite powdery, and wears with a matte texture. I have used matte lipsticks in the past, and after a few hours of wear always found my lips were super dry with creases starting to show - not the case with this lipstick however! It might have the look of a flat matte colour, but it delivers the great look without any of the dryness! I found that it was quite versatile in use. You can pat the colour onto your lips for a natural flush of colour, or you can apply it as a normal lipstick for a more dramatic look – so you can tailor the coverage to suit your mood or style! The colour wears super well and is very long-lasting which is fab. It’s also infused with hyaluronic acid to keep lips feeling moisturised all day. The product is designed to plump and hydrate your lips for up to 16 hours – I didn’t wear it for that long but was still good for a few hours at a time! I never noticed much transfer when wearing or eating dinner and sipping a drink didn’t remove it either. I have very full natural lips, so unsure how much additional volume I received – usually any colour gives me a dramatic lip. Still though, my lips looked fab and full. Love the sleek packaging – which is a simple elegant black tube with gold detail – meaning you get a precise application every time and it looks great too! A stunning matte with a powdery, lightweight finish – I highly recommend!

Absolutely love this lippy. I've been wearing it to work and have found it awesome. It definitely stays on for a while and still looks pretty good after having my morning coffee. Very easy to apply and a great choice of colours too. Will definitely be keeping this in my makeup bag.

I received this lipstick in the shade 602 Nude Admirable - and it is probably the best nude shade I've ever tried for my skin tone. For reference, I'm very fair with pink undertones. This shade was almost the same colour as my natural lip colour, just a little bit pinker and I am obsessed with it. The consistency is beautiful, it glides on really smoothly and as the stick is quite small, it's super easy to apply cleanly. It's quite a creamy matte finish, so your lips don't feel dry at all after application which I love.

My only issue is the longevity - I got nowhere near the 16-hour wear with this, especially not with eating and drinking in the middle. I did find that it transferred a little as well when I was drinking as well. This being said, it's so easy to reapply, and the packaging is very compact so it's really easy to take out with you for touch-ups, so I didn't really mind.

All in all, I really like this product and would 100% repurchase for the colour alone. Cannot recommend this shade enough for any other pale girlies!

This lippy has a wonderful bold colour and matte finish. The packaging is beautiful and slim so would fit well in your handbag on a night out. I found the colour didn't stay put nearly as long as it says it should having come off with eating. I will use it again and hopefully it will last the night.

The packaging is sleek & beautiful. The lipstick is slender, easy and precise to apply. When it comes to lipstick my motto is go bold or go home, so the colour I received is 336 "Le Rouge Avant-garde" which is a bold, classic red that will truly suit any skin tone. I have rather pale skin so any misstep in this lipstick is very noticeable w such a bold red. The colour is exceptional, the wear is comfortable and the finish is like a satin-matt that will suit a range of makeup looks. However where this lipstick falls down for me is the transfer and the bleeding outside the lines of your lips. I would say this wears like a "classic" lipstick so if you are going a bold colour-you must wear a lip liner if you don't want the colour the bleed (which bums me out as I think 1 product should do it all).

Great lipstick, I absolutely adore the luxe packaging, feels nice in the hands. Have to have non cracked, hydrated lips to use it otherwise it’ll show every dry bit but that’s the case with all matte lipsticks, so nothing new there. For me it transfers a bit though, so that claim isn’t quite true and have to reapply often. It however doesn’t fade in a weird way like some other matte lipsticks where it starts to disappear from the inside of the lips and stays stronger on the outlines, so that’s pretty good, it fades evenly. It’s not a lot of product in the tube but doesn’t bother me as I have never in my life used up a whole lipstick before. I’d repurchase this for sure, in different colours.

Was pleasantly surprised by this product. Not normally a fan of matte lippies as I have found them drying but this one was definitely not. Lovely silky smooth feel on application that felt moisturizing and had a pleasant fragrance. Color stayed true and felt a slight plumping feel when wearing. Liked the slimline packaging. Did find it had some transfer. Overall really liked this product.
