These nail art pens are so much fun, they are easy to use and the paint is easy flowing with great application with the thin brush letting you easily make patterns on your nails. I love the black and gold glitter ones that really look great on top of a bright yellow base coat. These also dry quickly so that you don't have to wait around long before you can top coat and get on, unlike some other nail art paints that take a while to fully dry.
I love these so much! The brush is the perfect length and not too thick or thin, just right. The range of colours is awesome and they are super easy to use. You can pretty much create any awesome nail-art design with these (well if you're skilled, unlike me haha). I found that these dried relatively fast and lasted a decent amount of time without chipping off.
Tips: Occasionally I've seen the warehouse has a 3 for $10 deal on all LA colours products, stock up then! :)
I'd highly recommend this range for nail art - there's a wide range of colours, the formula is opaque and reasonably long-lasting, and they're SO inexpensive compared to most other brands. I've only tried a couple of colours, so I can't guarantee that they'll all be great, but the ones that I've tried (white and red) are really good. The brush is nice and fine, you just have to make sure there isn't too much excess product on the brush or it will drip down and make it hard to be really precise. But overall, I definitely recommend!
You can accomplish anything with these! And the best part is the price! They are so cheap, but are also a good nail polish. I love putting polka dots on my nails and the fine point of the brush makes that a lot easier! The only trouble i find is that the brush is a little too long, i wish it was shorter so i could have just a little more control over it. But i will continue to use these over and over again.
These are awesome for doing custom nail design! The brush on these are so defined, you'll be able to control any design you paint. Easy to handle, Easy to paint! The only problem is that I don't have a steady hand however, practise makes perfect! Definately worth purchasing!!
I had already written a review on this but have decided to update it.
I hate this polish. It is super gluggy and difficult to use. The brush is too long for me to get an accurate design and it took a long time to dry.
Tips: Give this a miss.
These are great for fine detail on nails or nail art, i brought some for my 5 year old niece who loves nail polish, they were cheap and done an amazing job i always steal them from her so i think i might need to go buy some for myself :)
Tips: if they start to dry up add tiny bit of nail polish remover and mix it up or shake it up :)
I found these Art Deco polishes really good for drawing nail art or even touching up a French manicure. The fine tip striper brush was easy to use and draw a fine line for detailed designs. The colours are pretty good too and have a wide range. The black is a good one to go on top of any colour. However the nail polish itself does not last long at all and goes gluggy and thick quite fast.
Tips: Only buy when you want to use them, otherwise they become thick and you can no longer draw fine lines
I saw these for $3 each at postie so at that price i decided to grab a few and give them a go, considering how cheap these are they're pretty cool! As a lot of others have said in the reviews the brush is quite long which can make for a bit of awkwardness, but i actually cut a bit off the tips and the brush is so thin that it worked, didn't make the ends too stubby so that application becomes clumsy. I found that cutting a little bit off the tips gave me better control of the brush, only cut a couple of millimeters off and more or less on a 45 degree angle.
These are great for drawing simple straight lines on the finger nails and other simple designs or shapes like zig-zags or stars, not much good for doing curved lines i tried drawing hearts with these and it just wasnt happening although i don't the steadiest hand when comes to tiny intricate detailing.. But maybe that's just because i get a bit anxious about doing a good job because if you stuff up something like that it looks terribly tack.
The quality of the enamel is good, lasted on my nails without chipping for around 3 days so for the price of the product you can't really go wrong. Will i purchase these again? Probably not i'm keen to experiment with other nail art products as it's something i haven't had a lot of experience with, but they were fun to play with and i might purchase them as a gift.
