This has great reviews so I'm wondering what is wrong with me! I have been using this oil but find it's not really doing much compared to other oils I've tried. It helps me as a detangler after washing my hair but I don't find it has improved my hair at all.

Admittedly I am always on the search for the solution to frizzy hair so my expectations are high. While this product had a nice consistency, smelt good and was relatively easy to apply the results for me were average . While it did provide nourishment for my locks I didn't find it significantly better than some of the cheaper brands. I will continue to use it until I finish the bottle but probably won't buy it again. The search for the perfect product continues.
Was was talked into buying this by my hairdresser. I have very thick hair and have tried these types of oils before with ok results, so I caved and bought a bottle. A little goes a long way, applying too much will weigh your hair down. Even for my very thick shoulder length hair I only used a tiny pump. Lovely smell and make my hair feel nice and soft after drying and tamed my flyaways. I agree with previous reviews-it didn't improve the overall health or quality of my hair, but it's still a nice product to use and a bottle will last you forever.
This did make my hair feel quite soft and it has a nice fragrance. You only need to use a small amount of product to distribute through hair which means that the product will last a decent amount of time. I usually used this product on wet hair as I felt that the oil was better absorbed and this meant that I didn't run the risk of applying too much product and my hair looking oily (had I applied it on dry hair).
I feel that this product delivers on its promises however after trying another product that claimed to do similar things, I preferred the other product. The reason for this is because I noticed added benefits with the other product such as de-tangling hair
I have really thick curly hair and I am always looking for amazing hair oils! Oils are so popular at the moment for hair and skin!
I really love the smell and the fact there is actual avocado and grapeseed oil. The bottle is really easy to store and travel with and it was a good price.
On the negative side of things, this product was just not quite right for my hair type. I think it would be an amazing product to use in the summer (as it is a lightweight oil) but I feel like in winter time I definitely need something much more moisturising and rich. Especially for my dry curls!!!!!
Really enjoyed trying this product and it lasts a really long time - I use it everytime I wash my hair and I bought in Dec and its about 3/4 gone so its lasted a good 6-7 months.
For anyone for thinner hair or needs a lightweight oil, this is a great option. Just not quite the right one for me! :) X
Unfortunately the L'Oreal Professional Mythic Oil was a product that did very little for my hair! Naturally curly and prone to dryness, my hair usually thrives on creams and lotions rather than oils, but I thought I would give this one a go since I had read great things about it. The ingredients sounded great, and L'Oreal has always been one of my favourite brands.
There are lots of good points about this product; the scent is absolutely gorgeous, and leaves your hair smelling amazing all day, it's super nourishing, the packaging is great and a little oil goes a long way! Unfortunately it did barely anything in terms of making my hair more shiny or supple; I noticed a slight improvement, but nothing like the claims made on the packaging.
Sadly won't be repurchasing!
Tips: If you find that hair oils are usually beneficial to your hair, then this product might be worth a try! I found it much lighter (and better scented) than argan oil products, and would have loved it if only my hair wasn't so picky.
Originally brought two years ago to replace original Moroccan Oil and discovered half used bottle about 4 months ago, I am now using it up. I think the biggest disappointment is the smell, it just doesn't smell nice (to me).
I use in both wet and dry hair, it does help a fair bit with frizzies and shine. A little does go a long way, so it provides good value for money.
However there are products I prefer such as Luxe oil from Wella SP and Morrocan Oil.
Smells nice and does leave my hair feeling softer but results are average given what other oils can do. Not particularly bad but not particularly good either. After straightening my hair is noticeably softer but doesn't do much for frizz.
Tips: I apply while my hair is damp otherwise it makes my ends look really oily
You can get the same product at much lower prices. The quality of this oil does not differ much. Joico, Theorie and Keune have the same product for much cheaper. And the quality from these lower prices ranges are equal or better.
My holy grail is the Theorie Argan Oil Ultimate Reform Hair Serum. Best product ever. Perfect even on blonde dry hair
I got this in a Beauty Box about 18 months ago and I still have about a quarter of the bottle left! I use this most days too!!! I'm astounded by how long this has lasted and also malloMr sometimes uses it as a beard oil!
I like the smell it gives, which lasts in the hair, I like the shine it gives too but I do not believe it actually does anything for nourishing my hair to be honest.
A little goes a long way, one pump in wet hair is enough for long (just past the shoulder blades) hair and I use half on dry hair and only on my ends. The reason I use less on dry is because it easily looks slick & oily. SO really it's probably best to only use on damp or wet hair....
Tips: Be vary careful on using too much! Too much & your hair will look like it needs washing - dry shampoo does not counter act it either
