Wow! Impressive Hair Styling Tool Kit!

I was really looking forward to trying out this hair-styling tool, and it did not disappoint!

I usually blow-dry my hair and then straighten it. Both my hairdryer and strengtheners are quite old now so I’ve been looking at what it would cost to replace them both with a particular eye on Cloud Nine strengtheners. Phew! So, expensive! I was a little sceptical that I could get the same results with the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance as I can with using hair straighteners but I was pleasantly surprised!

Following the instructions from the “Air Style Brilliance Masterclass with Michael Brown” on the VS Sassoon YouTube Channel, I used the Dry Concentrate Attachment to blast dry my towel-dried hair. Then, I switched to the Paddle Brush to smooth out my naturally wavy hair. This is where I did things differently from the video. I then attached the 2-in-1 Styling Attachment that straightens and also adds volume at the roots. I must say, the results were amazing! Smooth and frizz-free hair. Super impressed!

I’ve since been experimenting with the Conical Attachment and I’m loving the look! The texture of my hair is a little coarse since I have been having blonde highlights put in compared to my hair’s natural state so I think this helps to hold the spiral curls I’ve been creating.

I’m excited to further experiment with the rest of the attachments to see what look I prefer or sometimes, just to change my look up a bit when going out for the evening. The good thing is, this kit is so versatile, I feel spoilt for choice! And, I’m loving the stylish black bag that conveniently holds all the tools which makes it perfect for travelling.

I really appreciate the versatility of this tool which allows you to switch from drying to styling and can achieve so many different looks!

I am so pleased I got the chance to try out this product! Thank you Beauty Review! No more need to look at expensive straighteners or hairdryers! I have everything I need in the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance to be able to create salon-looking hair!

Tips: To get up a running quickly with this product, be sure to watch the “Air Style Brilliance Masterclass with Michael Brown” on the VS Sassoon YouTube Channel.

An all in one styling genius

I tried to use this as many times as as I could over the two week trial. When it arrived I had already washed my hair the day before so I used the smoothing attachment and wow it worked so well, my hair was instantly straighter and smooth and shiny. First impression was good, little noisy as it’s like a hair dryer but it impressed me without easy it was to use.

Next time I used it on wet hair, I will say I Don’t love the hair dryer component- it’s very slow and not powerful enough for me personally. I have resonably fine hair and it took so long to get it 80% dry, if your time poor I would say will still use a hair dryer. This time I used the smoothing brush to finish drying it, the straightening brush on the bottom layers and the the round brush on top layers to add some volume. These brushes I love and will use over and over, give a lovely soft smooth finish. The round brush is a game changer as it takes away the need for both a brush and drier which is hard to master, this is easy to get a good blow wave.

The oval brush was large for my hair but I found this was good for creating volume in my fine hair, I liked this attachment. The curler I used as I usually would a day after straightening, I did find I needed hair spray as usually to help them stay in but the air styler meant they were lovely soft curls not too tight. The shaping and texturising brushes were also easy to use, the video for this product is excellent. The glove which is included was great when curling as it does get hot! While it won’t replace my other hair tools completely I will be using this on week days to make getting my hair done quick and easy and looking good.

Tips: -Use the glove for getting in nice and close with the hot attachments. -I found using a combination of the attachments got the best carefree look

It will create volume in a minute!

Looking for a quick and easy way to add volume to your hair? Look no further than the VS Sassoon Air Brilliance! With its range of attachments, you can achieve a variety of styles, and the lightweight design and 360 degree swivel cord make it easy to handle while styling. Plus, the strong airflow and multiple heat settings ensure quick and efficient drying and styling.

As someone with thick, straight hair, I was thrilled with the volumizing brush attachment, which made it easy to add volume to my hair in no time. And if you have long hair, don't worry - the brush is big enough to handle it. Plus, I found that the strong airflow was perfect for drying my hair quickly without having to use a separate hair dryer.

If you're looking to straighten your hair, the VS Sassoon Air Brilliance can be a game changer. Simply use the brush attachment instead of a hair straightener - you'll likely find that it doesn't damage your hair as much as traditional straighteners do.

The only downside? The curler attachment can take some practice to get the hang of, and may not be the best choice if you're in a rush. But overall, I highly recommend the VS Sassoon Air Brilliance to anyone looking for a versatile and efficient hair dryer and styler.

VS SASSOON

By far the most excited I have been to trial a product! The packaging looks sleek and high end - the box it comes in has a basic rundown on the styler itself and lists the uses of the 7 attachments. Its worth reading (if you are a hair styling newby like me). The bag is gorgeous! And practical - it has a handle to carry and inside it has dividers for each attachment and the styler itself. The first attachment I used was the straightener on a friend with curly hair and it was quick to heat, easy to use and most importantly worked beautifully. The second attachment I used was the curler attachment, I used the heat protection glove for this one and it was another success - the size of the curls were pretty and perfect! I used clips to hold the curls because it took me a bit of time to get through my hair. My favourite attachment by far is the texturiser - my sister is a hairdresser and she showed me a quick and easy way to add a very soft pretty wave with it. Dry your hair, take a small section, wrap your hair around it from the mid-length, hold it vertically and keep twisting it while pulling downwards softly. The hair looks like all you're doing is twisting it straight - but when its removed you give it a shake and it falls apart in very pretty soft waves. The smoothing attachment is so easy to run through your hair quickly to freshen up and smooth your hair out. On the other side..I tried to use the dryer attachment but it was too weak for me so I removed the attachment and just used the hand piece without an attachment and its better but still weak when compared to a decent hairdryer. I have long hair and no fringe so the shaper attachment isn't one for me but I can see it would be great for a fringe - my daughter used it and her fringe looked so pretty. Overall I would buy this (and was looking at a similar hair tool prior to this trial) its easy, works fantastically for styling and gives you so many options!

Tips: Dry hair before styling, and use the first heat setting for fine hair - its enough heat to style for fine hair. And play around theres so much you can do with this versatile hair tool!

Would be helpful to have 27 hands but works great!

The Air Style comes in a really attractive but highly practical zippable carry case. I love how each part and attachment has its own dedicated slot. Now I just need to be disciplined enough to make sure I put it away properly. In saying that, it's quire a sizable case so not sure I'll be packing the whole thing when travelling by air, but great for popping in the car.

It has a really long power cord so no need to stand right on top of a mirror. Which helps to be able to reach out and to the back of your head - but that's where a few extra hands would come in handy.

There are some really good videos on their website that explain what each attachment does and how to use it. Most of them show someone else using it on a model, so yeah and extra get hands or an extra person would be great as it does take a bit of trial and error to use it on the back of your own head, especially with long hair (mine is mid-back length).

It recommends that your hair is roughly dried to about 80% before using the styling attachments. I did often revert to my hairdryer for this as I didn't quite find it powerful enough to dry on its own. However it's more than powerful (and hot) enough when using the attachments.

I have very fine straight hair but this thing creates volume! It also shapes well and quickly. I'm yet to be convinced how well it will curl as I've not been brave enough to try that yet. My hairdresser has spent the best part of a decade trying to curl my hair and has finally given up, defeated as it just doesn't hold curls. But this might be my saviour?

The unexpected find in the case was the heatproof glove - seems such a simple thing, but greatly appreciated as without it it would be unbearable to have your fingers so close to the heat for so long. It's great that it can be used on either hand too - althoughbit is a bit on the small side (I don't have massive hands and it's a bit snug!)

Definitely recommend though - just be prepared to need a bit of practice!

Tips: Use the heatproof glove!! Be prepared to spend a bit of time (and probably a bit longer than you'd think!) to get used to it

Goes Beyond Expectations

I think at this point I own every kind of hair tool under the sun - most of which I don't use because they're bulky and take up too much room in my small space so end up being placed in my closet where they are forgotten and left to gather dust. The introduction of the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance will now see the majority of these tools being gifted to friends - because this is pretty much all I need to create my best hair ever.

First of all, I love that it has interchangeable heads so you can dry, style, straighten or curl your hair with just the one main wand. I also appreciate the bag it comes in - it easily stores the heads and wand and doesn't take up too much room.

I must admit that initially I wondered if this would be gimmicky. Could a hot air tool really do it all? Including drying my hair? I own a VS Sassoon hair dryer and it's amazing, so I didn't know that the hair dryer attachment could be anywhere near as good, especially as the air it blows out isn't as strong - I was wrong. My hair dried far more quickly than expected, and I was also able to easily get my hair to a point where I could finish off my look using the styling heads.

The styling heads are simply brilliant. The highlight for me was the straightening comb - it efficiently and quickly straightened my hair but not to the level where it was poker straight and fake looking. It looked chic, but natural. The curler attachment quickly heated up and produced big, beachy curls on my hair. I appreciated the inclusion of the glove as I can imagine that without it, burnt fingertips would be a possibility. I used each of the brush heads and found they were great for making my hair more volumised and sleeker looking.

All in all, this is a winner. I would absolutely recommend it, and am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to trial it. Thank you Beauty Review and VS Sassoon.

Tips: Buy this for everyone you know who has a decent amount of hair. It's worth it.

VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance

This is an absolute game changer for me ! i love it. I was never one for drying my hair but now i think the dryer attachment is my absolute fave on this it drys my hair soo quick. I also love how quiet it is and super quick to use no waiting around for anything to heat up you just turn it on and go! I also love the blow dry paddle brush & the straightening tool is amazing. It is so compact you can just pack it all up and take it with you wherever you are going i just love that fact you have you everything there you need, and it is lightweight nothing heavy all in one carry case. The brushes are not harsh on your hair or pull it out ( i have real bad hair loss at the moment and have not noticed any extra hair at all in the brushes in fact there is less that my normal brush). I could never go back to using my normal hair dryer or hair straightener now! doing my hair has gone from almost 20 mins every day to about 5-10! there is not one attachment i don't love on this and i have been using them all!

Loved this 7 in 1 styling tool!

I have never used a heated styling brush before, my go to routine is to blow dry my hair with a paddle and round brush and then occasionally run my straighteners through to smooth the ends. I’ve been wanting try a heated styling brush for a while, but with so many options on the market and the varying prices, I didn’t know what to choose. I was thrilled to be offered one to trial and have loved the results.

I really like that the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance 7 in 1 comes with a carry case and every attachment has its own compartment. I really liked that VS have even included a cotton glove for handling the hot attachments and protect to protect hands during styling. The carry case is quite big, but it protects the styler and attachments, and if I was taking it away for the weekend I would just pick a couple attachments rather than take the whole case.

My hair is shoulder length, mostly straight and I have a lot of it so it’s very thick. It gets oily quickly during the day and I don’t usually have much success curling my hair as it tends to drop within a few hours. My go to hair style is straight smoothing styles, but I wanted to see if I could get a bit of texture/movement through my hair with the Air Style Brilliance.

The VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance has 2 heat/speed settings and a cool setting which was useful for setting styles. It’s easy to click and change the attachments, and I usually plan which ones I’m going to use and get them out before I start styling my hair. I found the styler and attachments very easy to use but it took a few goes (and watching a couple of VS Sassoon tutorial videos) before I fully got the hang of it. Once I was comfortable using it I found it was much easier than holding both a hair dryer and a styling brush, and it was easier to style harder to reach areas like the back of my head.

I tried all the 7 different attachments over a course of a few weeks, each with varying success. The best brushes for my hair type were the smoothing paddle brush, straightener attachment and the large volumising round brush to give some volume. I didn’t have as much success with the curling attachment, but I really liked the loose wavy texture I ended up with and I think with more practice I could get it working for my hair type. The drying attachment would be good if I was heading away and needed a travel dryer, but I found for everyday use that it was quicker to blast my hair 90% dry with my normal hair dryer and then go in with the styler to curl or smooth. I found my hair was less frizzy using the styler, compared to my normal styling with a hairdryer and brush.

Overall, I think VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance is a great multifunctional styling tool and for the price, is worth a go. I don’t think it will be my everyday styler as it doesn’t quite replace my hair dryer, but it’s going to be great tool for styling my hair when I want a bit ‘more’!

Tips: The attachments can get very hot so make sure you use the protector glove provided when handling.

Think I've found the secret to Dolly Parton's hair

So I've never tried a hot air styler, but lowkey have always wanted to!

My first thoughts were 'wow what a big box' (that's what she said...). Inside it a gorgeous case, like I need to take a beat and bask in the quality of this case! It's stunning. Inside it has compartments to hold each brush attachment and the base.

So the 'just a dryer' attachment is fine, does what you'd expect - gives you a dryer wand to wave around your head and dry it.

The straightening brush is really good, really effective, I was impressed.

The curling wand is so so. It's less curling, more waving.

The smoothing brush feels like a cheap hair brush, but I have to give it to VS Sassoon, it does smooth out the frizzy wizzies.

The volumising brush is comically massive. Like if you've ever wanted to pretend to be a popstar, this is the brush to sing in to. It is huge. And the volume it gives is HUGE.

Which leads me to the last two brushes, the shaping and texturising brushes. This is how Dolly got her big hair. I couldn't stop. I kept brushing and shaping and volumising until I had the biggest, fullest hair I've ever had.

I mean, who needs a fancy salon when you can have the Air Style Brilliance in your life? With this tool, I could rock any style, from a wild and crazy updo to a sleek and sophisticated look, and everything in between.

The thing I think I'm really impressed with is, with just a light spritz of fixing spray and my hair held fast until I wanted to brush it out - be it at the end of the work day, or the morning after a night out.

So go ahead, give it a whirl and let your hair look amazing, 9-5 and beyond!
