The Original Dtangler

This is great to use on my hair when it's full of product such as root lifter, lacquer and even the old fashioned gel because all of these gang up together and it makes brushing really hard and painful. But - when you use one of these nifty little brushes, brushing becomes easy and stress free. If my hair is particularly tangled I often apply a hair treatment similar to conditioner and then brush with the Dtangler and in no time at all I have got it running smoothly through right to the end. It saves my hair breaking and coming out as can happen as well, and it's quick and painless. A must for everyone who experiences tangled and frizzy hair .

Tips: Always make sure hair is slightly damp or has a small amount of conditioner still in as this makes even easier brushing.

A Stylist's Go-To

As a hair stylist, I can confidently say that the Tangle Teaser hair brush is a game-changer. I've integrated it into my kit and regularly recommend it to all my clients, especially those with kids. This brush excels at tackling even the most stubborn tangles, making it a lifesaver for busy parents and also is easy for kids to hold and use on their own terms.

Tips: Things to consider are be sure to take the time to separate the hair properly, especially when dealing with knots underneath. As the bristles aren't quite long enough to breeze through extremely tangled hair, with a bit of patience, the Tangle Teaser works wonders. Despite this minor consideration, I highly recommend its effectiveness and ease of use.

Painless brush

I have very thick curly (2c) hair. I only brush it 2-3 times per week as you can't brush dry curls unless your about to do a wash. I always dreaded hair brush day as I always have knots and it hurts. My mum got me this brush for xmas and my life has changed. It easily glides through my hair gently removing knots so doesnt pull on my scalp. The only downside it's that it takes quite a while to completely brush out all of my hair however it's worth it for a pain free experience.

Tips: Don't use on wet hair as it just goes over top of knots and doesnt detangle

Amazing

All the women in my house have owned one of these because they are the best ever. So easy to remove knots. While massaging your head at the same time. Couldn’t recommend more

Brushing my hair is knot so bad...

...unlike my pun. Ha.

I was so happy to be picked to trial this. I've been growing my super-thick hair and if there wasn't enough of it when it was chin length, well there certainly is now it's below my shoulders.

I generally wear it tied up in a messy bun, unless I'm going somewhere and then I'll make the effort to straighten it. Which means it's generally pretty knotty (or cotty as they say in Pom land!!)

I've a normal hairbrush and a wide tooth comb - the hairbrush feels like it's yanking my hair out, the comb feels like it's missing all of the tangles. I was ready to chop off the locks it was that bad to brush...

I first tried it on dry hair - I quickly found the right technique, holding my hair against my palm and working the Dtangler through. It sounds horrible though!! The result was a little static-y but no knots!

Next test - wet hair - ahhh a dream. The product is amazing on wet hair. It glides through easily and stays relatively tangle free after towel drying.

What amazed me was I left my hair to dry naturally (after a quick towel dry) and achieved what has never been mine before...perfect beach hair (instead of an unruly mess) and the only thing in my routine I changed was using the Dtangler.

So why four kisses and not five? I have small hands and I found the contoured shape of the brush didn't work comfortably for me. Although it might be just getting used to a different motion I'm finding awkward.

Overall this is a great little product - it looks stylish (I received a mirrored design), is light, easy to use and does the job.

Give it a go!!

Tips: Try it in the shower - it really comes in to it's own on wet hair.

Use it before a deep conditioning treatment, and then comb the treatment through.

Fantastic review :) this sounds much more useful than the wide toothed comb I use after washing my hair. I loved your pun as well ;)

Dtangler

I tease my hair everyday but it really helped to use in the shower to get the majority of the knots out of my hair.

Good but not excellent

This is defo better than a regular brush but still not quite enough for really knotty hair. Although tbh I don't know if anything ever is when the hair belongs to a toddler who won't sit still ...

The Original Dtangler

I have used this to tame my daughter's thick wavy hair. It's a little bit harder to use on dry hair than on wet hair, it needs more efforts to untangle the knots. I find this particular shape is not easy to pack for on-the-go purposes.
