I have found this conditioner makes my hair very soft and it doesn't hold a blowwave very well which I have done every week. I used it a couple of times but have stopped using it.

A thick conditioner with a pleasant fragrance which was good as some conditioners are very runny. I have fine straight hair and felt I had to use quite a lot of conditioner otherwise my hair was very knotty. I didn't notice any difference in hair thickness or volume though which was disappointing.
I was very excited when the parcel containing the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo and Conditioner arrived in my letterbox. So excited in fact that I almost jumped straight in the shower to give this miracle a go. When I did finally use the shampoo the next morning I was very pleased with it's thick rich consistency and the lovely thick lather it created. However I was disappointed with the lack of fragrance which is something that I personally enjoy when washing my hair. The conditioner was also lovely and rich and creamy, but again missing the ping of fragrance. I was disappointed that after towel drying my hair it had a matted feel to it although it did dry up ok. I decided to keep trying the combination and after a week I stopped as I didn't like the way my hair was feeling. It had a straw feel to it - like it was being striped of nourishment rather than being feed. I also can't say that after a week my hair felt thicker - just drier. For this reason I stopped using both the shampoo and conditioner. I understand that there is also a serum that goes this the Shampoo and Conditioner to use afterwards. Maybe this is needed to get the full effect, however that was not part of the trial. Although I have used and liked L'Oréal products in the past, I will not be using or purchasing this particular product again as it is just not right for my hair type and I feel doesn't really do what it promises.
As with the shampoo I had high hopes for this product. Attractive packaging and fragrance. You have to use quite a bit to feel your hair is conditioned. My hair did not feel any thicker unfortunately and I will be sticking with the Elvive Volume collagen products which provide what I look for for my fine, limp hair.Volume! Which actually makes it look thicker.
Tips: Comb through with a wide tooth comb for the best coverage
It was alright, not really smoothing if that makes sense. I had to use alot to get good coverage aswell. My hair didnt respond well to it and was oily by the end of the day, and just kind of lifeless. My husband loved both this and the shampoo! But just not for my limp fine hair.
I am a hairdresser and thought I'd give this a go but was not very impressed with it as there was no added volume at all. It smelt nice but that was it. I used it every 2nd-3rd day and nothing, I thought it might of been a gradual thickening but that didn't happen either. Was not impressed with this product at all.
As with the shampoo, the conditioner's packaging tells you straight away it is part of the Elvive range. I liked the bright teal colour of the bottle, and the hot pink lids were cute. The conditioner itself was thick and creamy, I found a little went a long way which is not usually the case with less expensive, supermarket conditioners. Great! There was no real fragrance to speak of, which was disappointing. My hair was soft and shiny after using this product, however I found no evidence of the promised thickening properties. It does say on the bottle that it is a 3 step process - shampoo, conditioner, serum - and although I didn't have the serum to use, I honestly cant see how it would make a remarkable difference. My hair felt exactly the same in terms of thickness, as it did before I started using this product. I have been using it for a couple of weeks, I'm not sure if the thickening properties would improve with long term use (but I doubt it). Overall it's not a product I would rave about. But it's not without it's merits.....it leaves hair soft, shiny and clean. I just think that if you bought it solely to thicken your hair, you'd end up disappointed.
