I have just recently (for the first time) had my hair highlighted 5 weeks ago from natural Brunette to Blonde highlights. So this trial came at a perfect time.
I have shoulder length hair, and only wash my hair every second day as my hair doesn't get very oily. I used the Conditioner along with the Colour-Protect Shampoo.
I love the colour and shape of the bottle it is a great size and doesn't take up to much room on the shower shelf which i like, but did get a little confused with which bottle was which as they both are pretty much identical. It has a nice creamy consistency and i absolutely love the smell of it not like some other conditioners i have tried. I found that i didn't need to use very much to cover my whole hair, i did definitely have to use this product after shampooing to get rid of the feeling of straw hair caused by the shampoo. Using the conditioner made my hair manageable again and made it feel very smooth and soft afterward and i found it easier to straighten my hair than i normally would. I haven't really been able to tell if my colour has faded or not but i have noticed it does appear to be going ever so slightly brassy in my opinion but everyone around me says it isn't so i'm not to sure. I will definitely use this product again but probably not with the shampoo i will chose a different type to pair with it also i would be using it more for the fact it makes my hair easier to manage and straighten afterwards.
I used this product following the Elvive colour protect shampoo and it thought it was quite good for a super market brand. The first time I used it it did make my scalp quite oily but not the ends because the ends of my hair are bleached. The nect time I used it I tried only putting it through the ends of my hair and very minimal on my scalp and I found that this made my hair much nicer. It did make my hair very soft but it also made my hair quite fluffy but I would use this only if I was straightening my hair after,
Tips: Only use a small amount on the scalp but use quite a bit through the ends.
