L'oreal Casting Creme Gloss- Chocolate 535

Great product, made my hair look fresh and shinny, chocolate was a nice Colour, I like that it has no ammonia as some products are harsh on your hair and strong smelling, this has a nice smell. I have shoulder length hair and it covered it nicely. Had no problems following step by step instructions easy to use. The non drip creme formula makes it very easy to use with out mess. I really liked the Shine Enhancing conditioner with royal jelly, made my hair so soft and shinny, its like having your hair died at the salon. Recommend you try this product, I will be using this product again.

Tips: Over all i was very happy with this product my tip is to try it for your self :)

Casting Creme Gloss

Found this product really easy to use, Doesn't smell as potent as other hair dyes, Loved the color when it first washed out and looked amazing, However the only let down with L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss is that it runs when you sweat and when you sleep but otherwise is pretty good.

Tips: Use an old towel around your neck when you dye your hair and wash off with a wet facecloth if it ends up on your face/ neck.

L'Oréal Casting Creme Gloss

I love it, it was so easy to apply, I could do alot of it before I had to ask for help, it went on easily and I didnt end up with colour everywhere haha It washed out well and my hair took to the colour well. its a nice colour that I think suits me. My hair felt soft and silky when I had finished. It's been a couple of weeks and the colour is fading slightly but not to badly considering it's for 28 washes, I do like it and would definitely use if I'm after a short term colour change.

Does the job

I used the colour Iced Chocolate and I was mighty impressed that it came out true to colour. However on "virgin" hair it may come out a little darker than the box. Overall it was a simple and quick process, not unlike other box dyes. There was a no awful chemical smell and I particularly enjoyed using the conditioner that comes with it. There is a huge range of colours available to choose from and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a touch up job in between salon visits.

Tips: Try rubbing in some vaseline along your hair line before putting the dye, it helps to ward off the stray dye that wants to stain the line between forehead and scalp!

Loreal Casting Cream Gloss

This product was very easy to use. Instructions were clear and simple to follow. Colour is lovely, my hair has a lovely sheen. I only have a few grey hairs it blended them but certainly didnt cover them, great non drip and non hairline staining formula. I loved it that you didnt get that just coloured your hair look. Would definetly purchase again.

Tips: I usually put a plastic supermarket bag over my hair while its processing so that I can walk around the house and have no worry of any drips.

The BEST in the box!

I loved this hair dye! It actually did not feel like it was being too harsh to my hair. Sometimes when I dye my hair, I am constantly using treatments to rid of that dry yucky feeling. But with Casting Creme Gloss, I had an amazing shiny colour result as well as soft, beautiful feeling hair. Great results with minimal damage! As easy to use as any DIY home hair dye kits, will definitely be using this one again.

Tips: Avoid shampooing your hair for two days, just use conditioner :)

Casting Creme Gloss

I've wanted to try this L'Oreal casting creme gloss for a while now as its ammonia free. I also love the fact that it is semi permanent meaning im not ruining my hair too much. I got it in the color brownie which is like a rich medium brown. When I had mixed the two components together i could smell an amazing fruity smell unlike the horrible hair dye smells with most dyes. This helps me believe their is less chemicals in the product. It was easy to apply in a bottle with gloves. When washing the product out I did find it took quite a while for the water to run clear and the conditioner wasn't the yummiest thing I have ever smelt but it did make my hair (Very dry at the ends) feel silky smooth. Once my hair dried I loved the color and it covered my one grey patch very well but it wasn't as shiny as I was hoping. All in all I think this is a great dye and love love love that it is ammonia free, the only let down is the lack of shine.

New Year, Red Hair.

I chose the shade 262 Black Currant for this review. When the box arrived I got rather scared because the colour on the box didn't really look like the colour swatch online. However like any good Beauty Reviewer I still put it in my hair. Because I have bleach blonde hair and the box didn't advise blondes using this shade, I decided to dip dye it. Just incase it went funky. When you mix the colour up it turns a strange Orange shade which made me a tad worried, and was the same shade when applied to the hair. I honestly thought I was going to have orange hair but however, The colour applies smoothly and evenly to the hair and feels very moisturising. It didn't have that horrible hair-dye smell to it either which got a big thumbs up from me as there is nothing worse in my opinion than your whole house smelling like a packet of dye! As the colour starts to develop it does start to turn a Black Currant-Redish shade which made me wipe the sweat off my brows in relief. I am not one for orange hair, put it that way. The colour got really dark while it was developing to the point where it looked Black instead of Red. But when it was washed out it was true to the colour on the box, a beautiful Black Currant shade. The conditioner smelt AMAZING! Typically I am obsessed with packet-dye conditioners. They always smell great and make your hair feel silky smooth and well moisturised, the same goes for this conditioner-10/10. The only downside I have about this product is, I have had it in my hair for only a week and it has already faded so much. It went from Black Currant to a normal red shade very quickly so I can tell it is definitely not going to last in my hair for 28 washes which is a little disappointing. Other than that I would recommend this product 100% if you are wanting something semi permanent :)

Tips: Continue to use the conditioner with your normal shampoo routine. This will make the colour last longer in your hair and look more vibrant.

Ammonia free- ok by me!

This product was quite pleasant to test as I enjoyed the smell of my hair (after rinsing) for 3 days. As I have short hair I need to wash it every day so I dont ever get a long lasting colour and this time was the same. I always colour my hair at home so the process is pretty standard and I was pleased with my chosen shade (praline). I may have superhuman greys though (just a few) because they came back pretty quickly. In terms of products though I would buy this as its a trusted brand, works well and the 'no ammonia' greatly appeals to me

Tips: If you have longer hair and can wash it every 2nd day it will last a lot longer.

L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss

I received this product in a trial team in the shade 'Chocolate Chestnut 515'.

I really like this hair dye, the first thing I noticed was that unlike other hair dyes this one did not have a nasty chemical smell. Applying the product with the applicator bottle made it super easy and a quick process. I was impressed that it came out true to colour and the colour looked glossy and amazing, it really suits my hair. Just after one wash, my hair felt so soft and looked shiny. The only small let down for me would have to be that the gloves that are in the box are really tiny & are a bit hard to put on. Overall, I would still recommend this product to anyone who is needing a quick touch up :-)

Tips: You might need to buy bigger gloves
