Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner

I have quite damaged hair (thanks to a hair bleaching experience at the hairdresser gone wrong!) and an oily scalp, so I bought this liking the idea of a shampoo and conditioner that would help make my hair stronger. I found that products smell really nice, and the shampoo lathers well. After using and conditioning only on my lengths and ends of my hair, I found that it made my hair feel light and clean without irritating my scalp. My hair looked very sleek and shiny and overall more healthy. Due to the damaged condition of my hair, and the fact that it naturally grows very fast anyway, I can't really say whether it made my hair any stronger but I would definitely say this is worth trying and would repurchase.

I love the bottles, but that's about where it stops. This is just a shampoo and conditioner, with some convincing labels on it. My hair didn't get any stronger, and it didn't get any longer. I gave this a good go, I used it for a few months, but no change in my hair.

I was first attracted to the bottles of this product - very sleek and fresh looking. It works really well and i love the smell of it. To be fair, I have bleached hair so it probably wasn't able to make my hair any healthier or stronger! It may well do so on other hair types though!

Sadly, for me this product was just simply a shampoo and conditioner - like any other I have used in the past. I didn't find it made my hair any longer or any stronger. My hair still broke like crazy and really haven't noticed any growth in my hair. My hair wasn't any shinier or smoother and overall I really saw no difference in my hair.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't necessarily a bad thing - my hair wasn't any worse off. There were some good points with this product: its a nice consistency, smells pretty good (in the bottle, doesn't seem to last too long on your hair) and makes your hair feel nice and clean. So with the bad come the good.

Can't say I would necessarily by this again, simply because there are many other shampoos that have had similar results on my hair. A bit disappointing this didn't live up to its claims for me and my hair type (if a shampoo managed to grow my hair that would be super awesome).

I love the effect this had on my hair, it was much softer and sleek/shiny with this shampoo/conditioner, I think it really does help to strengthen your hair, which in turn helps to reduce breakages and grow longer :)

I love sunsilk shampoo and conditioner!! i have normal to oily hair and happily change from choice to choice but this combo here is definitely my fave!! leaves heair super clean and silky - just like the bottle say

I was dying to try these; i'll try anything that claims it'll help my hair grow longer. The few times I used it I thought it was okay - cleansed my roots and conditioned my ends, as i'd expect any shampoo and conditioner to do, but no amazing results. After those first few uses the skin on my neck and around my hairline broke out into hives - not cute. I don't know what ingredient it was that caused the reaction, but I threw them out straight away and have been too scared to try anything from Sunsilk since.

Love this stuff I have very bleached hair so need a nourishing conditioner and this one defiantly hits the mark. This is absolutely my go to supermarket brand It's super creamy and thick and leaves my hair feeling amazing soft shiny and overall healthy. I would of course rather my salon brand but I don't mind using this when I run out.

I do have to use a good sized handful to feel like its removed all my tangles but its very affordable so I don't mind. It doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or heavy at all.

I would recommend to someone with bleached/dry medium density hair.

My hair is damaged so I'm constantly trimming split ends. When using this I find I do actually get less therefore less cutting. I'm using it ATM and I think it needs more perfume. The smell doesn't last long.

My absolute fave I have used this for years and I still love it keeps my hair super healthy and strong I have long hair so its perfect! Its a shame they changed the formula a few years ago because it was sooo AMAZING before but its still great was just even better before.
