Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I enjoyed using this product and would definitely use it again. I liked that it is quite nice and creamy when you squeeze it on to your finger, as it makes it easy to control the amount you are using and doesn't make a mess by dripping everywhere. I also like the feel of it on my skin, although I find that I have to make sure my skin is completely dry, or the cream quickly picks up the moisture and becomes watery and hard to blend in. I think the coverage is good, although I don't find it lasts well on its own. It needs powder on top to get closer to a full day's wear. I tend to use two coats, and let the first coat sink in a bit before putting the second lot on. The packaging is really nice and appealing, and the tube sits nicely on the vanity. Also a great size to pop in your handbag in case you are heading out. Another good this about this is that it is the right size to travel with and you can take it on board a flight for moisturising during the journey. You do need to be careful to wash your hands well after using this as it rubs off onto clothes or any surface easily. I actually prefer the glow that the original Garnier BB cream gives, I also find that the original BB cream is fine on my sensitive skin. This cream has a very slight, but pleasant smell to it, not at all strong. It is supposed to be fragrance free, but you can definitely detect a slight smell when you apply it. I don't feel like this product does what it promises long term (4 weeks stated on the box), to have reduced redness or a more even skin tone, but I do feel like it lives long lasting nourishment and I find my skin is feeling more moisturised even after washing. I don't have that dry feeling quite so quickly as I used to. I think this is a great product (the whole range of Garnier BB Creams), and are well priced and very easily accessible from lots of stores. I would definitely purchase this product again and find it fits in well to our tight budget. Loved it!

I found the BB cream a little to oily for my liking. It had a light to medium coverage which was good for during the weekends etc when I didn't want to wear a full face!

I also used it under a foundation during the week and found it to be good as a primer / moisturiser.

Would not use again due to the oiliness.

It's quite light which is great for everyday light makeup. I am normal someone that wears heavy makeup hence I did use a compact powder on top. It definetly helps skin maintain that "glow" throughout the day. I have very dry skin hence needed to moisturize before applying the cream. I don't have redness hence unable to comment on it. However I do use a concealer under my eyes for dark circles and did continue to do so with this. Having UV protection is an added bonus. Overall a good product for anyone who likes light cover for sensitive skin.

My skin is freckly, dry and prone to the occasional breakout so when using BB creams or tinted foundations I am questing for excellent colour coverage, with a finish that makes my skin bright and fresh with an even tone. I was SO impressed with the finish that this product gave. It was a velvet light coverage that gave the most incredible brightening effect, as well and providing even skin tone coverage. The texture was smooth and light and set with a semi matt effect that was so flattering and needed no extra bronzer or setting powder all day! I loved that there was no fragrance and I had no issues with it upseting my sensitive skin as it is very gentle. The product claims to correct blemishes,and even and illuminate the skin. I can testify that after 7 days I had noticeable improvement in skin tone and skin illumination! The packaging suggests it can replace moisturizer, but I personally applied moisturizer prior to applying as my skin is super dry and it didn't feel moisturizing enough for me without it. The packaging of the box is pretty average, and not particularly amazing..the actual tube is much nicer and looks more special. I felt the box looked a little cheap. The tube is easy to use and enables easy control of how much product to apply. As a rule I usually tend to purchase more expensive brands for foundations and BB creams, ( Dior and MAC are my preferred brands) I was so impressed and shocked at how such an affordable " cheaper brand" had such a premium product that I will absolutely recommend and continue to use! It is such amazing value for money especially with the results it gave! Overall a winning product!

I found this product was pretty good. It met my expectations. Packaging is lovely. It is easy to use especially for busy mums who may not have the time for applying full foundations. It doesn't have an intrusive scent which is good. It's coverage is fairly good and for someone who already has pretty good clear skin it would be perfect! It stays on all day - excellent! Feels so lightweight.

I have been trying a few varieties of BB creams recently to find my perfect one. I tried the Medium Garnier for Sensitive Skin. I found the colour very orange in shade did not match my skin at all . I also found from the first time I applied it, it would peel off in bits like my skin was peeling, I tried several times to put it on (fingers, foundation brush) and it had the same effect on my skin, I wore it for as long as I could but it doesn't last long as it would fail if I got hot and look uneven, it is really oil and I have had constant pimples on my face since I started using it (I hardly get pimples normally). I didn't mind the smell of it but I only used a very light layer otherwise it felt like I had a load of makeup caked on my face. I have sensitive skin and it didn't burn or sting which was good. The packaging is great I do appreciate the upside down bottle for creams/foundations etc as you can get almost all of it out when you get down to the last of it :) Even as a free product I will not be using it again and I definitely would not recommend it to a friend - Sorry Garnier, better luck next time :(

This BB cream is easy to apply, went on smoothly, and blended well just by using my fingers. It covered and calmed some red areas as well as minimized my pores. I have a very dry skin and this product gave me that extra bit of moisture to my face as I was expecting it to be. Unfoturenately, The Medium shade was darker than my skin tone and more on the orange size so not a good shade match for me.

I was stoked to get a chance to review this product as I have used the old Garnier BB cream but it wasn't specifically for a certain skin type so I found it great in some areas and not so great in others. My skin isn't super sensitive to products as such but it is super dry and some products aggravate this more. Since they haven't got a BB cream for dry skin I thought this was the best one to choose. My biggest problem is that I HAVE to moisturise a lot, and ALWAYS before applying any kind of make-up to my face. Even then some foundations or BB creams still just highlight the dry flaky patches making them look even worse. So needless to say I was rather apprehensive that it would live up to it's claims - to be more specific the hydrating, soothing, and reducing redness! I decided to give it the ultimate test and didn't apply moisturiser before putting it on and STRUTH!! It went on like a dream and actually hydrated and soothed my skin like it said! No rough patches and no flaky skin! My skin felt smooth and supple when I ran my hand over my face and it definitely did diminish the redness of my pimples. Although not as much as the claims of "miracle skin perfector" and "instantly flawless". But I guess we're used to cosmetics companies making ridiculous claims like that that we know aren't going to be true, sadly! The consistency is both watery and and thick at the same time, yet somehow nice and creamy when you apply it. As it's sensitive there is no fragrance but you can just smell the sunscreen in it which I don't mind at all - it reminds me of summer! The coverage is medium. Definitely not full and not quite sheer, and a nice dewy finish. Perfect for day time wear! The coverage lasted most of the day for me but the hydrating effects lasted longer and I found that when I didn't use it for a few days my skin was actually dryer! I like the packaging compared to the old BB cream. But then again I don't actually really care what the packaging is like on a product like this that just gets put in my makeup draw (eep sorry haha). I would say that the price is definitely worth it as it's a great staple to have for everyday wear and it actually does do what it says (well most of it anyway!) Beauty Review has been a wonderful opportunity for me to trial skincare on my delicate, sensitive skin. I often steer away from new product as I have so many used once products that irritated my skin. This was NOT one of them! This BB cream was light on my skin, allowing it to still breathe. It didn't feel oily, and gave great overall coverage. I was pleasantly surprised - a MUST have for thise who struggle to find a gentle sensitive friendly BB cream.

I'm not a fan of bb creams, and any one I've tried has dried out my skin, and feels flaky and yuck. So needless to say, I was a bit cynical going into this, but thought I'd give one last cream a try. No harm right? I have a graveyard of tried, and hated, moisturisers in my cabinet, so the search for a good one has been a long one... I was shocked by the results. The first day I tried it, it was smooth, incredibly moisturising, and made my skin look awesome. And the more I used it, the better my skin looked, and felt. I even got my workmates to try it and see what they though. They all loved it, so it wasn't just me getting excited by something new either! I can honestly say this is the only moisturiser I've ever owned that I actually use regularly, and want to continue using. Very happy!
