Great quality for the price. I purchased 2 of these and am in love with the nude. I found the colour to be long lasting and it not too drying on the lips. I also found the pencil a foolproof way to great application, wands and traditional lipsticks just don't work for me coz I fail at applying lip colours without getting some on my face.

I have these in Natural and Tea Rose, and man do I love them. I can't wait to get the rest of the collection! I love matte lips, and these aren't too drying, they don't 'drag' on the lip and stay put fairly well. Obviously for the price, I don't expect them to be as long wearing as other brands, but i still think they're great!
They have a nice scent and even taste great lol. The little cap on the bottom comes off and there is a wee sharpener there as well. I haven't needed to use that yet, but I guess if I broke of a tip or something and needed to reshape it, it would come in handy.
Tips: If you see one in your local Kmart and have been thinking about getting one, just do it. They seem go as quickly as they get stocked up!
My Elf favourite. I literally have multiples for all the shades. Praline is my favourite! They are so cheap, so easy to apply, good staying power and people are always asking me what product I am using and they are always shocked when I say $3 on iHerb. They just need more colours now
I recently did a mini E.L.F haul from iHerb. I ordered this is in the colour Natural.
I was pleasantly surprised of the size as I was assuming it was a thin Pencil.
Quite a decent sized wind up tube/pencil type packaging. Sleek design , easy to control and hold.
Well pigmented, quite a natural pink/nude.
It didn't really go full matte on me and it still transferred.
It lasted a good 3-4 hours. Came off with makeup remover and smells good.
I will buy more colours in this range. And most of all amazing prices!!!
I've tried a tonne of matte lip pencils, of all prices, and this is by far one of my favourite. Some great colours, great formula - feels soft and velvety on the lips (much like the NARS velvet mattes). Stays on for a pretty long time, very comfortable to wear and easy to apply! Also cannot beat the price. Highly recommend if there's a colour you like - hopefully they expand the range.
Have the e.l.f matte lip colours in Tea Rose and Rich Red. I really like the colour payoff and how these lipsticks look at first but after a few hours my lips are so dry! The dryness is the only downside to this product. The price and pigmentation are great.
Tips: Use a lip scrub and lip balm before applying these lipsticks to minimise the dryness.
I have this in the colour natural, which is a really nice nude colour, but personally I don't like light/true nudes on my lips. I prefer something like a dark nude or a more pinky nude, and this is quite light.
I don't know what the description is going on about moisturising and hydrating lips, because this dries my lips out pretty bad (I do have naturally dry lips though). This really accentuates the dryness and lines in my lips, but it doesn't flake off or crack or anything, so that's a good point.
I like that it is kind of a cross between a regular lip colour and a lip pencil, with the pencil-like tip. Makes it pretty easy to apply nicely and I usually don't bother with a lip liner. I think this is one of these put-on-and-go colours that doesn't require much hassle (unless you have dry lips like me).
I have this in rich red and I think it's such a bargain! The color is an awesome bold red that would go really well with a fancy date or hollywood themed event. I like that it's in a twisty pen form as it's thinner than a lipstick but thicker than a lip liner. It's also convenient that rather than having to sharpen this I can just twist it up. Its formula and pigmentation reminds me of the maybelline essential red lip pencil. It glides on super smooth and doesn't feel clumpy or dragging. The lasting power isn't that great and after drinking from a mug I'd have an imprint left on it. Aside from that though this is awesome. Goes really well under lip gloss too I've been using it to line and shade my lips then applying clear gloss over top. This is definitely a favourite from ELF.
I only have the shade Natural, which is a basic beige nude colour, it matte, not very creamy but easy to apply and doesnt last hours i need to touch up at lest twice a day, i think they have added more colors to their line now so i might check back when they are having a sale, but its a really nice lip liner, it opaque, and has a sort of cryon smell that I dislike. Its comes in a retractable lip pencil form.
Tips: The bottom bit comes off, and it functions as a sharpener!! so you will always have a pointed tip :)
I'm a darkish tone and the matte natural did not suit me because it just looked light and like conclear and it was a awesome colour and I thought it looked good coz I watched everyone put it on and new trend but it wasn't the right colour but I loved how it went on my lips smooth and yeah gave it to a friend and she uses it a lot!
