Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

So I have used this particular brand BB cream a few years back and wasn't overly happy with it. I can't even remember now what I didn't like about like about it, but I gave it to my sister and moved on to another brand. When the opportunity came up to trial this product I thought I would give it another shot and I am glad I did! I have had people commenting on my skin and how great it looks. I have been wearing it to work instead of foundation and find that it gives me the coverage I need, without being too 'cakey' or thick. It took me a while to figure out the best way to apply and wear it. First I tried it with a sponge, but decided it was better applying with just my fingers. I have worn it by itself, with powder and bronzer and today just with bronzer. I find it works however YOU want it to! I haven't felt greasy throughout the day like I have at times when wearing foundation. All in all, I am really happy with this BB cream and would definitely use it again and recommend to anyone. I have some serious oily skin, and I have to say this is one of the better affordable bb creams I have used targeted toward oily skin types.

When I applied it I was surprised at how liquid the formula was I had never used a formulation quite as runny. I got the shade light with was a great match with my skin tone. I found when it came to application due to its consistency you really had to take your time to buff it into the skin to get it looking even.

i wouldnt say it gives you perfect looking skin like it says on the packaging but it defiantly gave me a nice light coverage and helped minimize my pore and evened out my skin tone getting rid of visible redness. When it came to imperfections I wasn't so impressed but I never really am with bb creams due to the light coverage. I needed to go back and touch up my imperfections with some concealer.

When it came to shine control it help reduce shine for couple of hours but I did find myself still touching up with some mattifing powder through out the day.

Overall I think its a great BB cream and really works to even out skin tone and I love the oil free texture i gives off compared to other BB creams :)

I love this BB cream and is my go to on my days off or when I am having a lazy day but still want my skin to look even, even if it is just going up to the supermarket. It is light weight depending on how much you put on good coverage evens out your skin tone. I recommend this product to my GF's if they don't want to jump in straight to foundation.

The coverage is awesome, so even. Totally removes any shine and leaves the skin feeling fresh. Imperfections are gone!

Well, I always thought that my skin was on a medium tone, everything i purchase usually the lights too light and the darks too dark so I thought medium would be great for me...How wrong was I??? hahahahaha So I was extremely excited to try BB creme, after hearing so much positive feedback and how it had awesome properties but when I applied it I looked like an Ompaloompa...hahaha, it was far too dark and orange for me so I had 2 choices, not continue with the review or to not...Onwards and upwards I say, lucky for me I am a stay at home mum that looked like an ompaloompa for a week, (the kids were horrified). But I absolutely loved this product, bar that it didnt quite cover my blemishes, as i have quite a strong red tinge to my cheeks, I loved the way the finish was to my face. I always use Shisado beauty cake as it covers thick and well giving me a good base, well this was a pretty close second. I could run around doing my daily jobs at home, getting a little hot and sweaty but it didnt seem to really change the coverage - it lasted from the time i applied it 8am till i took it off at 3.30pm, and felt really nice on my skin, it was soft and i really wish I had of got the light colour as I would wear it for the month to see if the results were as they say with less visable pores, and oily skin etc. I would definately reccommend this product and I checked out the price and it was pretty reasonable, I will consider trying the lighter tone in the future

Packaged in a tall squeeze tube with a pointed nozzle it's easy to get product out and great for traveling with, however I did notice some leakage from the tip but nothing major. The coverage is really good and had no issues covering old acne scaring and redness feels very light on my skin and dries down to a natural matte finish. I applied the product using a variety of methods (flat top kabuki, beauty blender, fingers and stippling brush) and all applied the product awesomely, the beauty blender applied the product sheerly though so keep that in mind. I really enjoyed this product and I'll defiantly be re-purchasing when I run out!

I was excited to get this product, as previously I have tried and enjoyed Garnier products. However, this exceeded my expectations. The first thing I noticed about it was that it stayed on all day! This was including through exercising and sweating, it was still just as good as earlier in the day. My skin gets quite oily in some areas but dry in others, and I found this product to keep the oily areas at bay. However, some of my drier areas did look drier after application, but with some moisturizer put on prior, I didn't have any more problems Originally when I first took it out to apply with my fingers the product was quite runny. However, when applied to my face, I found the product to appear as a powder, which allowed my skin to breathe. As my skin can get sensitive to smells, the lack of smell that I found, really was appealing to my needs. Unlike most other BB Creams that I have tried, the packaging was long and slender which looked very chic. Unfortunately though this seems to mean that the cream comes out readily with just the slightest touch and I ended up pushing a little too hard the first time I used it. Using this product I have found that my face looks evenly toned, and I do not have the shine that some other products produce. It felt as though I had nothing on my face yet lasted all day without reapplication. I am a BB Cream addict and use it daily instead of using foundations which cause me to break out and this product has proven to be one of the best I have found. I would recommend this to a friend as a replacement for foundation that looks and feels good!

I was pleasantly surprised when trying this product out as I wear foundation everyday and like full coverage, this product gave full coverage without feeling heavy or looking like I had foundation on, it also covers imperfections while still leaving the skin looking and feeling fresh. This BB cream has a matte finish and stays on all day, it does not need reapplied, it goes on smoothly and evenly. You only need a small amount as due to the consistency a little goes a long way, the more you use though the darker it will be so it depends on your skin tone, I have very fair skin so only required a small amount. I have sensitive / dry and oily skin all in one so I found this a great product, it did not irritate my skin yet it hydrated & hid the shine perfectly. This product is great value for the money and easily accessible being able to purchase at supermarkets and department stores etc. The packaging was great, it explained exactly what the product would do as well as being eye-catching, it will be easy to spot when going to purchase again. This BB Cream has a very light/runny consistency so I recommend storing it upside down as it can make the cap quite messy. I will definitely keep using this BB Cream as it is quick and easy to apply, especially for if you are in a rush just put some on, some mascara and lipstick and you are off.

It is definitely a product i will use if i had minimal amount of acne. This product makes your skin look near perfect without making you look like you have heavy makeup on. But the coverage isnt too great. And this BB cream does not hydrate the skin so sometimes it can leave your skin looking flaky and the smallest dead skins on your face will show. Maybe using it with a moisturizer may solve the problem. This product will be perfect for people who dont like to wear foundation all the time since it does make your skin look a whole lot better. The good thing about this product is that it absorbs really well and it gives a matte finish which is perfect for people who have oily skin.

I received my product in the post just before I flew out to Aussie last week and I'm so glad I got it - it certainly came with me! I will be using it everyday now. Careful when you squeeze it out as you don't need a lot. It seems quite thick when you put it on but I just applied it with my hands and just made sure I covered my whole face/neck, then allowed it a few minutes to set. I find it covers my acne really well, as well as pigmentation and it lasts so well! Usually I feel like make-up starts to slide off my face after a few hours, but this still looks good eight hours later! A definite winner and quite different to other BB creams that I have tried - in that it's coverage is a lot better and you really don't need to then apply other foundation on it. I love that you can wear it by itself, or I wore it on a night out with my powder over the top. Really happy with this product - especially since it has SPF in it too.
