Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation Review

I was lucky enough to win a Maybelline Better Skin Foundation in a recent BR promo. I've never really rated Maybelline, as I always thought it was cheap and nasty and wouldn't suit my sensitive and combination skin. I have been pleasantly surprised to find that not only does it suit my crazy skin, but it has improved the appearance of my skin . It lasts all day, and is super easy to apply. I'll be making the change permanently from now on!

I got sent this foundation by beauty review, i really like this foundation. It has good coverage, it doesn't cake up on my face. i'm not 1005 sure if it has improved my skin though as i've only worn this a couple of times. The foundation is light and it leaves a nice matte finish, it's quite a pink foundation on my yellow undertoned skin.

I won this from BR and it was just in time, I was running out of foundation and wasn't sure if i was going to change brands or not. I've been using this since and it's really good so far. It's easy to apply, it covers well and my complexion looks great! So far so good. And it goes a long way too - you don't need to use much for good coverage.

I am currently using this foundation. I think its a great foundation. Leaves your skin looking smooth and flawless. It does what it says and last all day long. With a wide range of different colour tones to choose from im sure you will find the colour that best suits you. :)

I was kind of waiting for the Maybelline superstay foundation to be a bit average but I'm stoked. It has great coverage and a shade for any skin tone. The only issue is that it's November and it is getting a bit heavy for heading into summer. A perfect foundation for evening though.

I was super excited to try this product as it sounded like everything I wanted in a foundation! Sadly I was a little disappointed.. Don't get me wrong it's a nice foundation and think it would suit a normal to dry skin beautifully but unfortunately my skin was a little too oily so it didn't have the staying power I'd hoped for. The coverage is medium build-able although it can go a bit cakey if to much applied. It has a nice texture and blends quite nicely into the skin. Not sure if I noticed any difference in the condition of my skin but it also didn't cause any breakouts which is great! All n all I found it to be a nice day to day foundation that's really affordable but best suited for a normal to dry skin type. :o) x

This was my first time using a liquid foundation. I've only ever used a very light powder foundation.

I was surprised with how easy it was to get a nice thin, even coverage just with my fingers. The colour tone was perfect so it looked very natural. I've always been very conscious of how some foundations looked caked on. But with this product, it was good to be able to apply very little yet have it acheive exactly what I needed i.e. a natural looking foundation that evened out my often blotchy skin tone. It also gets very warm in my workplace so good to see that the foundation kept my skin tone even. Without it, my cheeks can get very flushed. With this product, I was able to look at least a lot cooler than I felt.

I can also vouch for the fact that there is little to no transfer which is great. In my job, I am often sleeping for 3 hours at a time, so I was pleased that none of the product was left on my pillow.

Overrall, I was very happy with this product and will continue to use it until it's finished.

The super stay better skin foundation sat really well on my skin, with having sensitive skin I have to be careful what I put on it, but it sat perfectly and didn't irritate. The coverage itself I was 80% happy with, I have light pigmentation and it didn't cover it as well as I thought it would, the more I tried to build the foundation up the more caked on it looked and unnatural. It did however even out the tone under my eyes to even it out. Any tips on how to use it better are welcome. The easy to use pump is extremely helpful to get the right amount out without having to fuss and the packaging looks good, which is handy for me as I store my foundation on the vanity in the bathroom.

Such an amazing product! Super long wearing, and actually stays put on my face - something which I find difficult to find given that I have such oily skin. Does exactly what it says it does, effectively covering up all my pimples! Colouring is a little off, I used ivory and it's VERY dark considering it's supposed to be a lighter shade. Apart from that such a good product!

I absolutely love this foundation! I usually always stick to moisture mist foundation because every time i try a different product I am disappointed but Maybelline Superstay is amazing!! very easy to apply (I put it on with a makeup sponge or just use my fingers) great even coverage and it really does last all day!! I wore it to a day time event and it stayed on all day even through hours of dancing in the sun! I feel it did improve the condition of my overall natural skin - made my skin appear to have a more even tone and while wearing the makeup my skin looks fresh and smooth too. I need to use it for a little longer to really see the full benefits but very VERY pleased with it so far! will definitely purchase this product again :)
