I use this BB cream mixed with moisturiser everyday as a base for my makeup. I find it most useful for evening out my skin tone - not providing flawless coverage like it says. It is nice and lightweight so works really well as a makeup base for me. I love that it has SPF 15 in it and found that the colour matching worked great for my fair skin tone.

Tried this product was a little too thick for my skin I use it under other makeup but over all great product
I have a mature sensitive skin with some redness on the cheeks. I have been using BB creams for many years and was interested to try the Garnier BB Cream Nude. I applied the Garnier BB Nude Effect as a regular moisturiser on my skin. I used half a pea size amount for each application and even applied a second layer for increased coverage. It didn't quite cover the redness as claimed. I like the consistency of the cream. It is creamy. The cream doesn't run out of the tube as you open it, as many other creams do. The pop-up lid makes it is easy to use and the lid closes well. The fragrance is nice and fresh. I tried it during the very hot and humid days of February in the Waikato region. The cream lasted well and kept my skin hydrated. It is also nice to have a SPF 15 UV protection. Unlike other BB creams I used, it is interesting to see that the texture is white. The texture has mineral pigments which adjust to match the skin tone. The cream is about $5 more expensive that the BB cream I usually use. I like using this product and would recommend it to my friends.
Tips: Apply some powder for a perfect finish.
Garnier BB Nude Effect was nice - just more of a 'moisturiser' than other BB creams I've used.
Packaging was easy to read and simple. The size was good and flip top lid easy to use and wouldn't get lost in the makeup bag.
The BB Nude Effect smell is great and my skin felt hydrated and happy (a bit humid at the moment but still didn't feel too heavy). It blended in pretty well and my skin did have the 'natural glowing skin' look as promised.
LOVE that it offered sun protection too - so important and one less product to pop on when I was heading out and about.
I would used this product again but more as a moisturiser/product to use when going outdoors - I prefer a bit more coverage for everyday.
Also maybe two or three shades would be better eg light/medium and medium/dark.
Tips: Perfect for applying as a moisturiser before heading to the beach or for a workout
The nude Garnier BB cream did what it said- it was very moisturising & provided a VERY natural base! It has a really nice fragrance (I loved it, but if you’re one of those people that prefers their products without fragrance this wouldn’t be for you!). It comes out white, but then blends into a nude colour that matches the skin really nicely!
However, it’s coverage was very minimal, I was having a bad skin week so it really took it for the test, & unfortunately I’d have to say it didn’t really cover my pimples at all. Additionally, the little cover it did offer didn’t last particularly well, I wore it for a whole day over toner & moisturiser without anything else & photographed myself at 3, 6, & 9 hours post-wear & even after 3 hours it had worn off significantly! In saying that, the next day I tested it with concealer over top, powder & make up setting spray & it lasted much better- but personally for me the whole purpose of a BB cream is to not have to wear as much make up- so this method isn’t ideal!
Will I use it again? Yes definitely! Would I buy it again? No, probably not- as I’ve found better BB creams that have offered long lasting coverage & still maintained a natural finish (e.g. dermalogica & Bobbi Brown). Although this is a much cheaper option so that’s great!
Tips: Know that it does exactly what it says- don’t expect more, & if you want a longer lasting coverage apply powder & setting spray!
I will have to admit I kinda freaked out when I first tried this on my hand and the cream turned from white to an orange-brown...however as you keep rubbing it into the skin it does blend in quite nicely. The consistency is that of your standard moisturiser - not runny but not super thick either. It has less coverage than the BB cream's I usually wear but I would still wear this on a "no makeup" day, just to even out my skin tone. It doesn't do a lot to hide redness unfortunately so if thatch a big concern, a pop of concealer should help.
My skin is dry - I felt this product added a nice level of hydration without making me look shiny. There is a light scent to the product also.
The product comes in your typical BB cream squeezy tube - the same as the original Garnier BB cream I believe and is easy to use, I found it applied perfectly fine just using my hands.
Tips: Add a powder over top for extra coverage and to extend its wear
I suffer from patches of vitiligo on my face as well as rosacea so was looking forward to trying Garnier's SkinActive BB cream. It comes in a tube with a flip lid and is easy to apply with your fingers. The cream comes out white and when applied blends in to your skin colour and the shade itself was perfect for my skin. I found it nice and creamy and it spread easily on to my face and did look natural, however, I found that there wasn't enough coverage to hide my little imperfections! I did apply a second layer as mentioned on the packaging and although it helped a little, I could still see my vitiligo and it didn't feel as natural as promised.
It claims to feel like you're not wearing make up and on every day I wore it, it disappeared when I got hot (granted, it was very hot!) By the time I got home, there was no cream left on my face so I have to question it's staying power!!
I did like the fact that it offers a 15 SPF and would like to try this again in the colder months when I'm not so hot and sticky and it hopefully lasts longer on my face!
Reasonable product. I have used other brands that do the same and I believe they are better. Smells really nice and very easy to apply. Light on you skin. Quick drying.
I've always been pretty off with what colour I should go for for BB creams as I'm way too dark for the light and way too light for the medium colours. I always tend to top BB creams off with a very light powder or quite a dark powder to even it out.
When I tried this out, I really didn't think it was gonna work but it surprisingly works well for me! It blends really nicely and adds a nice hint of colour to my skin without it feeling too heavy.
I have combination to oily skin and this doesn't really help that no matter how good my primer or setting spray are. If you don't wanna look oily then I don't recommend. It doesn't really cover up that much in terms of blemishes but using a concealer and powder helps cover up a lot. Good for everyday use if you don't wanna put that much effort in.
Not sure if it's a holy grail of mine but it's definitely the best BB cream I've used, especially for the price. If it had more coverage THEN it would make it my holy grail
I have used Garnier BB Creams in the past and never really been a fan of them until now.
It's such a user friendly product, you can't get it wrong because the colour adjusts to your skin tone so no looking like an oompa loompa.
Comes in a tube which is how I like my products as it's easy to get the product out.
Has a nice scent to it but very unique so it's hard for me to explain. Doesn't react to my skin which is a miracle in itself.
If you are looking for a full coverage product, then you may need to keep looking. If you want it to reduce the look of blemishes and redness, then it will do the trick.
I've been using mine everyday and so happy to receive a free one from BR as part of the BRBB deals.
