I love the look that the opi shatter creates however I find it a bit tricky to apply. I always get some nails looking awesome while others look average.

Tips: If you muck up your nail polish the shatter is great to cover it up and still have awesome looking nails without redoing your nails.
a bit glugy (is it even a word) . Needed to be used quick as it kept drying to like a powder. Unsure if it was just the one i was using or if it happends to a few? Nice colours though
personally, some of the colours are much better than others in this range as the shatter is more visible and the colour is more vibrant ie- the blue, red and black were the strongest. what I probably dislike about the shatters is that if you go over the shattered part again if you missed a spot, it doesn't give the same effect and goes all weird.
Tips: if you find the shatter bad, then just apply 2 or 3 coats of the shatter polish over a base coat, the polish won't really shatter and you get a full colour.
I have used black, white and dark green shades of OPI shatter and of the three prefer the white. I especially like the white for Summer over coral tones, hot pinks, baby blues etc. I only ever put this on my toes as I find it a bit tacky looking on my fingers but think its a neat little time saver when you don't have time for a pedicure. It gives nails a bit of character and life as opposed to a straight colour. I have had problems with the polish becoming gluey and clumpy so probably wouldn't buy it for myself (I only tried as I was given some) as it's really expensive.
Tips: Make sure its stored somewhere cool - can turn gluggy.
Does what it says it does. But need to be careful as the more you put on in one go, the worse it looks. A light application looks the best. It was good when it was the "in style" look but I don't seem to use it anymore. I have the dark blue one, which I love the colour of. It can look good but also can look bad. One of throes purchases that when brought I used a lot of and now not really at all. Just sits in the cupboard!
I was so keen to get hold of some when it first came out, it wasn't long after the Earthquake in Christchurch I think as I remember people saying "Ooo earthquake nails." I got the black one and loved the effect over bright colours. But the fad was over very quickly, taken over by ones that didn't last long either. And it's just as well really as when I was having a clean out of polishes a few months later, this one had already gone really gluggy and awful!
Tips: Stick to your favourite colours, the 'trends' don't seem to last long at all!
had only bought like 5 bottles of this for about half a year and all had hardened up. Good quality though aside from that, shatters quickly and nicely.
This is a unique nail polish that does an amazing effect on the nail, my only disappointment is how the product drys up in the bottle quite fast, i have found myself quickly having to apply the product so i can place the lid back on the nail polish so the product does get air and dry up. this can be frustrating, as it is a semi expensive nail polish, when you could buy a cheaper brand that does the same this. I like the variety of colours that OPI has so it has a colour to match occasions and outfits but a tad disappointed in the formula,
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the look of the shatter nail polish. I just don't think that it comes across looking quite...finished. Now don't laugh, I do know that it's the point of the shatter but I don't like the thin-ness of the nail polish here. it comes off really fast and doesn't feel nice on the nails.
I like the idea of this, But I found it to be a little tricky for me and it dried up and clumped up easily.
