Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads Review

"Ewww that stuff stinks, can you at least do that outside?" Are the words that normally leave my husbands mouth when it's time to pull out the nail polish remover. Not with Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads. Specifically the Limited Edition Floral Scented pads. They smell very moreish, delicate and not at all chemically. I'll start from the outside and work my way in. The packaging is stunning and incredibly convenient. The compact size and screw top seal makes them perfect for your handbag or the car without the worry of them leaking everywhere. The light fragrance is a pleasant surprise in comparison to other nail polish removers which hit the nostrils no less than a bottle of pure methylated spirits! The manicare pads are delicately scented, so nicely I would go as far to say I intentionally kept smelling them. Thin but mighty! The pads are very thin, but super resilient. I really put them to the test and removed five layers of polish, two of which were glitter, and we all know how much of a challenge glitter polish is to remove. Am I right ladies? In total I used three pads and my nails came out pristine and clean, not one spec of glitter to be seen. Normally after removing any nail polish with standard removers I have to scrub my hands several times to remove the potent odor & get rid of the chemicals on my skin. Then I have to apply cuticle oil and a mountain of moisturizer. Not with the manicare pads. These babies smell so good, and if that wasn't enough, they actually moisturize and nourish your nails and delicate cuticles too. My nail beds are lovely and shiny and there is zero chemical damage or flaking anywhere on my nails. I'm now on the hunt for the coconut pads as well so I can have some for the car for last minute hospital shifts and fast removal, as well as some for my handbag. This product is effective, affordable and beautifully put together - the smell, the packaging. Everything screams convenience here. These nail polish remover pads work so effectively and you only really need a couple of pads to take off a whole set of nail polish. My pads dried out because silly me had not tightened the lid but all I did was put a little bit of water on the pads and the pads were restored.

Everyone must try the Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads! These are a miracle that come in a round, compact, sealed container that fits perfectly in my handbag (a.k.a the Tardis) and also in my travel toilet bag. I think they are affordable as well.

Once you remove the plastic seal and unscrew the plastic lid there is a secondary foil seal. Once you pull the secondary seal back, all is revealed. A very pleasant floral fragrance and 32 very thin, yet amazingly durable Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads.

I usually wear three layers on my finger nails which includes a base coat, a natural shade and a top coat. I only use 1 Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pad for both hands.

The Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads feel quite delicate but it is amazing what they can do. Nail polish literally glides off with these wee beauties and there are no unpleasant smells! Not one. My husband doesn't realise what I am doing, unless he is watching. They are just so convenient and effective.

After using Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads, my nails and cuticles look healthy and feel nourished. These are acetone free and as the packaging states - they are moisturising.

These are so handy to use! Polish comes off easily with a couple of wipes. The smell is pleasant and not overly strong. Perfect for travel - saves me having to take a whole bottle of polish remover and cotton buds with me on holiday.

I received this product for trial in the floral scented variant. There is a subtle, inoffensive floral scent to it. At the end of the day though, we're still dealing with a solvent here and I’m okay with that. The scent is a bit of a novelty but not something that’s essential for me when I’m looking for a nail polish remover.

The packaging is compact and practical. They come in a small white container with a secure screw top lid which should hopefully prevent the pads from drying out. I llike that it doesn’t take up much space on my already overlloaded dressing table!

Really though, nail polish remover is one of those essential basics that I don’t often put as much thought into as the polishes I choose. What’s most important to me is that they get the job done without too much effort on my part. These pads took off my black and dark brown polishes without a fuss. It takes about 2-3 pads on my nails to take them all off depending on the length of my nails. I guess that would work out more expensive over time. There are 32 pads per container and I never go out without painted nails.

I found the process a little messy, but I am used to using express remover containers with the sponges inside. Ultimately though nail polish is messy business and I’m not complaining.

I think these will be great for travel as they are small and easy to throw in your bag. I think I will keep a stash of these at home for that reason.

I wonder if the packaging of the particular one that I got happened to be faulty, because the lid doesn’t screw on firmly. It’s enough to keep the container sealed, but it’s not air-tight, which I feel that it should be to prevent the wipes from drying out. However i’m not sure that it’s an issue..

The scent of these wipes is nothing like regular toxic smelling nail polish remover, it’s a sweet yummy scent, and is very fragrant.

The wipes are very thin and very oily. They do the job well, one wipe is enough to do 3 nails, therefore there’s enough wipes for around 10 uses. They leave behind a lot of oiliness, so they’re very hydrating for your nails and cuticles. It feels that they are actually good for your nails, unlike traditional nail polish remover.

I’m likely to get some more of these, I like the compact packaging, they're pleasant to use and do the job effectively, and they’re affordable.

As soon as I opened the container it was so refreshing not to be hit in the face with that age old nail polish remover smell - yuck! The pads have a sublte floral smell and I love that there is no acetone and they are loaded with vitamin E. I used one pad to take off all the nail polish on both feet. It worked a lot quicker than I thought and left my nails looking refreshed. I will never use nail polish remover again - remover pads for life :-)

I got these in the nails BBBE and was so impressed! They're coconut scented and smell so much better than regular nail polish remover which I hate the smell of. One wipe was enough to get rid of all my (granted, very chipped) nail polish and it doesn't feel toxic at all. I'll definitely be buying these again!

I got these nail polish remover pads in the 'We Love Nails' beauty box.

They come in a cute tin with red flowers on the lid, that looks like something more soft and sweet than you'd normally associate with nail polish remover.

I don't like anything strong or smelly, and the primary ingredient in most nail products gives me migraines so I tend to steer away from polishes, polish remover, and, now it also turns out, nail strengthener.

Anyhoo, after trying out the strengthener I needed to remove it so gave these remover pads a try.

The first pleasant surprise was the nice mild scent they have, and nothing smelly or irritating (I got the floral scent). The second surprise was that they removed the strengthener very thoroughly and easily - brilliant.

I completely recommend these to anyone who likes painting their nails but doesn't like the smelly removers. The extra bonus is that they are easy to transport, with no chance of spillage.

If I was putting anything on my nails I would most certainly purchase these for removal.

I recieved this in my I love nails box. I've never tried these kind of nail wipes before. I have seen other brands selling similar kinds of wipes to these but never got the opportunity to try them out.

These wipes came in a fully sealeable container. This container is easy to open and close. Im so glad they weren't in a packet. This wipe is circular and thin. At first I took a big pile but realised that each wipe is paper thin. These wipes feel soft and smooth. Theres an oily consistency in this wipe . They smell like sweet coconut. It smells gentle.

With one wipe I can manage to remove nail polish on both my hands. These remove nail polish so easily. Im surprised that my nails haven't dried out. Instead this oily texture in this wipe has made my nails feel hydrated and smooth. It felt like my nails were being treated. I've never enjoyed removing my nail polish until now. It's a game changer for me.

After using these nail wipes I would happily buy these again. I believe its affordable. Its compact enough to take travelling. Theres no mess or additional products needed to use this. If only traditional nail polish liquid was like this. Overall a great product to have.
