The colour looks exactly on your nails as it does in the bottle. I love this colour, wouldn't really say it's a hot coco colour, it's a bit lighter than coco, maybe a dark grey mixed with a coco colour would get you this shade. It suits me really well.
The application is smooth and the brush is just the right size, it's not thick and it's not runny and it's steak free. The smell is strong. The bottle is 11ml and it has lasted quite a long time. It is shiny and I don't find I need two coats of it but if I do put two coats on it doesn't look "heavy" on my nails, it's a good consistency.
I found it lasted 2 days before chipping, so not the best considering it's meant to last 7 days, I don't really do all that much besides dishes every night and washing my hair twice a week. Wish it lasted longer, but it does it keep it shine which I guess can make up for the lack in longevity.
I like this colour and I like the consistency and the shine, so I am scoring it highly and I would recommend it.
I brought this colour because it reminded me of Cadbury purple, I admit Im a chocoholic and if anything resembles chocolate I would most likely buy it! I purchased mine for $11 at the nearest Farmers, the colour was 150 Amethyst.
The formula is a great consistency and you only need a small amount because it spreads very easily. You need to wipe the brush before applying each coat as a lot comes out and it will overflow onto your finger (this happened many times) Drying times between coats is approximately 2 minutes, when I apply nail polish I do 3 coats and have never used a top coat before.
I wash a lot of dishes everyday with having 2 beautiful babies and a hubby my hands spent a lot of time in soapy water, because of that my nail polish lasts 4-5 days before any signs of chipping. I would say if I didn't do as much dishes or none at all that the nail polish would last a lot longer.
If your a purple or Cadbury lover this shade would be for you!
