This was one of the first dark lipliners I'd purchased and I got to it go with an expensive lipstick I'd brought but wasn't convinced by it's matching lipliner.
The shade match of this one was perfect and the price fantastic. As an auto liner I also didn't have to sharpen it, which I prefer over pencil options personally.
As a lip liner, it possibly wasn't as long lasting as some of the higher end options I'd considered, but as it lasted as long as the lipstick, I think it was perfectly adequate. However, it did have a more melty formula than others I'd come across (mostly pencil), so it did feel like it had a tiny bit of slide, and I winder if that was why it didn't fully stop the lipstick from feathering, but it was much better than when I wore the lipstick alone.
Nice simple pencil that is super easy to use. It has a lipstick consistency which is soft, easy to draw on and super easy to blend. I find that using hard pencils not only dries out my lips, but also hurts as I drag it across. This is not like those.
I like that it's a twisty pencil - no sharpening involved. Perfect to have on the go or when you travel as you don't need to carry around sharpeners with you.
As I said, it is a lipstick, creamy consistency which makes it super easy to draw on, but I find that it is relatively difficult to master.
It is super vivid and tinted in colour - and lasts A LONG time. It is also difficult to remove I find. Which is why I think it is difficult to master. If you happen to make a mistake when using this - say you get some on your upper lips or corners of mouth, it is nearly impossible to wipe off. It stains - it stains good. I find that I use 2 tiny makeup wipes to attempt to wipe off the excess because it spreads around - instead of coming off. Just something to be careful about.
It also runs out fairly quickly - depending on how much you use it. Definitely does not last as long as a pencil does. Because of it's consistency just after one use, I lose about 2-3mm off the product.
