Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Review

Love everything from Hourglass. Their powders are so fine they never make you look cakey. They are buildable and not Too powdery or pigmented. They are great for layering and as a finishing touch. I have bought their blush and ambient lighting powders again and again

Hourglass is one of my top favorite brands. I love, love, love their Ambient Lighting Powders and so I also love their Ambient Lighting Blush. I have two of their blushes in one of their limited edition holiday palettes. Luminous Flush and Mood Exposure. Luminous Flush is a beautiful pink rose blush with a champagne sheen. Mood Exposure is a soft plum with a sheen. Despite looking dark in the pan, Mood Exposure looks really natural and warms up your face, it looks more nude than Luminous Flush. That being said these blushes are the easiest ones to apply as their very buildable but never looks powdery or cakey on your skin and blend seamlessly. They just add a sheer subtle flush of color whilst blurring pores, which is wonderful considering I have a lot of large pores all over my cheeks. Because of that Hourglass blushes can look flattering on both lighter and deeper skintones. If you have the money to splurge on a high end blush I would highly recommend checking out these ones by Hourglass. I totally would repurchase these.

The hourglass lighting blush is my all time favourite blush. It's the perfect pink, for a gorgeous glowing flush to help you appear healthy and younger. A little bit of this product goes a long way. In saying that, it is so easy to blend, that if you applied too much I don't think it would be a problem. It has a slight sheen, that looks glowy rather than overly shimmering. It does not emphasise texture and the glitter is very finely milled. This product feels super soft when swatched. This makes it so easy to apply and blend.

I picked up a travel-sized Hourglass blush from Mecca and straight out the gate I was pleasantly surprised.

The packaging is that reflective plastic they use - and the product inside is excellent quality. The blush blends out effortlessly - in fact I'd have to say it's impossible to put it on wrong. You just poof with your brush, poof on your face and you're done.

What I love most is that it gives a youthening effect to my old textured skin. An inner glow, even.

Such is the love for this product that I bought the Holiday quad this year and I've not touched another blush since.

She's a 'spensy one, but she's also worth every penny.

This blush is one of my all time favourites, and I LOVE blush. It is just so smooth and flattering on the skin. It blends effortlessly and just looks beautiful. Have almost hit pan on mine.

I have shades Iridescent Rose and Sublime Flush and these are stunning. They add this beautiful sheen to the checks and don't emphasise texture like some do. I am in my early 40s but they look lovely on my skin. This is an expensive brand but you can get a lot of there products in minis or if you can splurge I recommend getting one of their palettes. They usually bring out gorgeous palettes around Xmas including 3-6 products ... Totally worth it!

I picked up the smaller size of this in a 'treat yourself' Mecca haul when I came into a bit of cash recently and i LOVE it. I have the shade 'Luminous Flush'

The packaging looks expensive - it's a dull gold square compact with a secure clasp and a small internal mirror.

The blush is marbled with a champagne gold and a rose pink, and it's absoutely beautiful. It's fine milled and subtle, but buildable to a rosy, glowy look that is perfect for every day or neutral makeup.

I'm delighted with this and so glad i got it. Worth every cent

I cannot for the life of me find anything that can compare, my bank balance doesn’t like me anymore though! Great that you can get a mini though, it lasts ages before you hit the pan!! Absolutely beautiful blush that literally makes me look 10 years younger !! Highly recommend !!

I have been wanting to try Hourglass products for years now because they just look stunning and you only hear amazing things about their powder formula. However they do come with a hefty price tag! I am now 36 and my makeup preferences are changing, I now look for products that are going to compliment my skin and not highlight the pores and fine lines etc. The formula of these blushes are gorgeous they smooth over the skin evenly and build up so well. The colours I have are below: AMBIENT LIGHTING BLUSH Iridescent Coral (Peony) AMBIENT LIGHTING BLUSH Radiant Rose (Berry) These two work really well together or on their own, I like to put the darker blush more so at the top of my cheek bone and bring the lighter one down a bit further. These two colours have some fine sparkle in them which I personally don't like alot of but it has just the right amount that looks quite flattering and youthful on. They have really good pigmentation and a little goes a long way, if I want just a light cover I will use more of a fluffy brush and where I want it a bit more punchy I will use a brush that has a bit dence bristles in it. These are definitely an investment I think you can get a similar look from other blushes but the experience when using hourglass products makes you feel so bougey, the packaging is phenomenal, sturdy and beautiful, you get what you pay for with these products. If you wana splurge and treat yourself these products are worth it!
