Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I have super dry skin, so I skipped my usual moisturising routine as I wanted to see how moisturizing the actual product was. I found that the formula was super hydrating, and hide a majority of my large pores. Foundation tends to sit on top of my pores and make them look extra big; the Garnier bb cream glided over and filled in the pores, and made them less visible. The bb cream itself is liquid to mouse consistency, and I found it easy to use on my face. I tried two different techniques to applying the bb cream, the first method I just used my fingers to apply it, this worked quite well, however, I preferred using my flat top brush as it blended more efficiently. The bb cream had a strong smell of sun block, however I did not mind this, as it made me feel protected by the sun during the day. This product will be great for summer! The coverage was light to medium, and I prefer full coverage as I have large pores and a lot of redness. I decided to use this instead of my primer, and teemed it up with my Mac Fix Fluid, and it was amazing! It covered everything, and had a dewy appearance. This is definitely my new daily routine! I found the product only lasted 5 hours or so on its own. I am a mum to a two year old, so he is constantly grabbing my face, so that could be the reason why the cream did not last long. The packaging is great, it fits in my makeup holder along with my other face products. The product did correct some of my redness and hid most of my pores, so I do believe that it lived up to its promise. I also loved that it had more coverage than a tinted moisturiser. I have recommended this product to my mum, who needs this sort of product as she is a nurse. Needless to say I will be re purchasing.

I was fortunate enough to be sent this to trial from BR. I have previously tried the normal one and briefly the anti-aging one (which I bought in medium which was too dark so I gave it away.) I've tried a few BB creams from other brands and Garnier has so far been my favourite. Starting with the packaging it has a lot of information including a full ingredient list. It claims to reduce redness, correct blemishes, even skin tone and illuminate while being soothing and offering 24hr hydration. My skin type is dry and sensitive. This product has no scent which is the first thing I check for when a product is claiming to be for sensitive skin. I found that although this was moisturising it wasn't quite moisturising enough. The first day I tried It I applied it with my fingers. The coverage is even and reduces some redness but entirely. The colour is nice and natural. No orange tone. I also found a dusting of mineral powder over the top was a nice effect. I tried this next as a primer under regular foundation. It gave a dewy complexion which is OK but I do prefer matte. This is truly illuminating in that sense. I really like this either alone or with mineral powder. This is not irritating my sensitive skin so Im pleased with that but neither did the normal Garnier one. Overall I am enjoying this BB cream and will more than likely repurchase, although may try the anti aging one also but buy the light colour next :)

I thought it was fab! I have used many BB creams, some great and some not so much, I would rate this one pretty high on the list. The only problem I had was it was a bit "glossy" for me. I ended up popping a quick powder puff over my face to avoid looking like I just walked out of the shower. Felt great on my skin and perfect for everyday use, lightweight and helped even out my horrid patchy skin.

I was so excited to be part of this trial after buying the medium version and finding it too dark for my skin. I find the light a bit too light however I have been wearing it daily for the last week and a little bronzer over top makes it look great. I like that it has no smell and is easy to apply, I did find it a little runny and am not a big fan of the tube opening as its hard to get the right amount out. I wouldn't say it gives a flawless finish a lot of my red spots and dark circles still show through but it does even out skin tone and is a nice light cover for days when you don't want to cake on makeup I have always been a fan of tinted moisturisers rather than foundation anyway. I think it would also be great as a foundation base too. Has been great for my sensitive skin which flares up with a lot of products so far no problems at all with this and my skin is nice and soft. A few more colour variations in the product would be nice.

I've never used a BB cream before so was very happy to be part of this trial. I tried this cream a few different ways to see how it would work best for me, I'm Personal Trainer so don't need a full face of make-up but still need good coverage and I need a product that will last.

The box it comes with was very detailed, But I can not comment on the effectiveness of this cream over a four week period, however I am interested to see if if it does indeed do what it says it does.

I found the bottle with the large flip top lid a bit clumsy and the first times I used it to much came out, you don't need to use as much of it like you do with foundation.

My first go with the cream was to use it just as a foundation, it's so nice to apply it glides on with no trouble at all, I found it blends very well too, I did need to put two layers on for more coverage like it says on the box, which did not leave me looking like I had put to much on at all, again it blended very well it deffently gave more coverage but still not quite what I was use to, the colour match was perfect, and it did give me an amazing glow to my face which I truly loved, I found however it didn't last, about two hours later I needed to redo my makeup, maybe it's the kind of job I have??

The next day I used it as a primer and for me this was amazing, my skin is not perfect so as a foundation it didn't cut it but as a primer I was blown away it really nourished my skin and after my 6 hours on the gym floor my makeup still looked good.

Overall I think this product is pretty good if you have skin that has light flaws or younger skin it would be perfect on its own, it really is so easy to use it hydrates and illuminates your skin, it did even the appearance just not as much as I'm used to, would I buy this again? Yes I would to use as a primer and I really am so interested if Inwill notice any changes after 4 weeks.

This stuff is amazing. A great little tube that fits perfectly in any handbag. Squeezy for less mess. Perfect color for my skin. Blends nicely and feels so smooth and silky amd weightless. Not oily amd wears well. I use it on its own on weekends and under a liquid foundation on week days. This is a fabulous product and is now gping to be my go to back up! I will not be without it ;)

I did not have high hopes for this BB cream, as I had not heard a lot about it. The first thing I noticed was that it a little goes a LONG way - you only need a tiny amount to cover your face, which is great because it means it will last longer. It has a slight shimmer to it, and provides a light coverage that does not feel cakey. This is not good for covering blemishes, and I still need to use a lot of concealer for these. However it does even out skin tone over the clear parts of your face. I have had compliments from my boyfriend saying I look glowing (since I started wearing this)!

This cream performed well and did every thing it promised. It provided a creamy light moisturising finish which covered my broken viens and gave a light cover without irritation. I choose to use this under my usual foundation and it worked well in giving that extra cover. I would recommend this product when working outside when an SPF is required and will definitely keep using it.

I've always been curious to try BB Cream, and was a bit apprehensive at first as to how my skin, which can sometimes be quite sensitive, would react. This product was/ is great. It did not feel cakey on my face, and made my make up last all day. I thought the shade might have been a bit too dark for me, even though it was the lightest one possible haha, but it looked quite natural on and I prefer it to my foundation. Will definitely be continuing to use this product.

I have sensitive and dry skin that is prone to redness and this BB cream is very gentle on my skin. It blended evenly with my skin and it certainly made it glow. The cream had a creamy texture that was just right, it wasn't too excessivly oily or watery. It was easy application too, I just dabbed a bit onto my index finger and rubbed it onto my face. I wanted it to cover some of the spots on my face but I had to put on 2-3 layers for it to come into effect. There was hardly any smell to it, just a very subtle hint of fragrance. I put the product on around noon and it lasted quite well into the evening. I think the price is quite reasonable and I like it more than the other brands at a similar price, and the packaging is great and makes it easy to control the amound I want to use.
