I’m generally very impressed with Essence mascara - Lash Princess is always stocked in my makeup draw. But this one didn’t deliver the results I wanted. I struggled to get enough volume and curl. There was also a little flaking throughout the day which made me constantly want to check in the mirror if I had little bits of mascara on my face.

I used the waterproof version of this mascara. It is a great affordable alternative to high end mascaras. I liked the formula it wasn't too wet or transferred. It builds well for more volume and slight length. It didn't irritate my eyes like some waterproof mascaras do. It definitely stayed put when in water, I had no problems with it running. I would definitely repurchase this mascara if I was looking for a affordable waterproof mascara!
