Love this product

I use this along with an eyebrow pencil, and this is great to shape and set my eyebrows. Seems to help my eyebrow pencil last longer.

Fuller, natural-looking brows

I'm so impressed with this. I got the dark brown, which is a true deep brown and perfect for me. That in itself is great, as the eyebrow pencils and powders I've tried in the past have all had a reddy tinge, which just looks terrible with my black-brown hair. The formula itself is surprisingly liquid and very pigmented, so a VERY light hand is required, otherwise you end up with dark globs and an uneven finish. (That said, it's really easy to whip off again with a moist cloth if you make a mistake.) If applied lightly though, the firm brush combs easily through the hairs, depositing the gel uniformly, and it's short and angled for easy manoeuvring. A single brush-through gives all my brow hairs a coating, making each one look thicker, and it deepens the colour too, which adds to the look of overall fullness. A second sweep gives me a more dramatic look. I love the buildability of it. And it seems to dry almost instantly, basically setting the brows so you can rub your fingers over them without removing any of the product.

I have quite sparse brows at the outside edges, and this fills and blends so that my whole brow looks more uniform. If you had no hairs at all to build on though, you'd obviously need to pair this gel with a pencil or tattoo pen or whatever.

I want thicker brows, but I do like them to look naturally thick rather than obviously painted on, so for me this formula is wonderful. And now that I've mastered the application, it takes me literally seconds to quickly brush through my brows and be set for the day. Oh yeah, and it lasts all day, not budging from sweat or humidity or anything, until I decide to wash it off - with just my normal face cleanser. No special makeup remover required.

Tips: Wipe the brush off in the tube to remove excess product before you apply it, and then very lightly brush it through your brows, taking care to not press too hard; you just want to coat the hairs, not deposit the gel onto your skin. Build up as necessary.

Really nice

This product is really good value for money. This product is so easy to use. The tip is like a sponge. You fill in your brows first and then use the brush part to cover and set your brows. Done.

L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper

I suffer from thin brows from many years of over plucking, because I thought it was the thing to do! Well, everyone else was doing it too. And.now I have to deal with my brows fading, or maybe they are going Grey. So, with all that said I absolutely need a good brow product every day. I found this one to be ok, not fantastic but it did the job. I found it not as easy to use as other brow products,it was not as defining as a pencil or fine brush, but it still made my eyebrows acceptable.

A more natural look

I love eyebrow pencils and eyebrow game. There is something about bold eyebrows that make me feel like I can tackle the world.... Or at least a Monday morning and a traffic jam....

The packaging reminds me of mascara. Simple and effective with a mascara like brush or wand inside.

My colouring is light and normally I struggle to match colours to my hair so I was pleasantly surprised that this matched my eyebrows perfectly and looked natural, more so than the pencil look I normally rock. I still prefer the dramatic affect a pencil gives me but this coats the hair rather than your skin so it looks more like you were born with it.

My only fault to it is that it makes your eyebrows crunchy (for lack of a better word)..... Crunchy.... You know like when hair gel sets on your hair? Yeh like that. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. But it is still a great product that boosts your eyebrows.

If you are after a different look than a pencil and have light eyebrows like me. This is a fab new addition to your make up kit. Just beware the crunch ;)

Tips: I applied mine much like mascara and used it to shape my eyebrows. However you shape them they will set like that so make sure you are happy!!

Hehe I got the crunch factor too but I actually kind of liked it because it made me feel fancy like someone that was well put together and reminded me not to go pawing at my face and rubbing makeup everywhere

I LOVE MY NEW BROWS!!!!

I have been dying to try this product, the anticipation waiting upon its arrival was almost unbearable. As soon as it arrived I got down to business and gave it a whirl. I had no idea how unruley and untidy my eyebrows really were. So I set about making a DIY stencil and reshaped my brows. Newly shaped brows all ready and I was back to work applying the brow plumper. Instantly I noticed a difference. And it didnt look like I tried and failed with an eyebrow pencil. Now I was so eager to try this product because I happen to have a scar running through one of my brows that hair no longer grows on. I have lived with a gap in my brow for years now. I have tried eye brow pencils but it always looked rather silly, and I'm no makeup novice. I must admit I did have to use a brow pencil to fill in the gap, but with the brow plumper ontop, you truely couldnt tell there was a gap there. The brow plumper truely plumped and thicken my eyebrows. I had a full brow. And I was Over the Moon. I Love My New Brows! They are so amazing and I can not reccomend this product enough. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I am going to use this every single day!!!! I wish I could attach before and after photos to this review. That would truely be amazing.

Tips: For any gaps in brows use an eyebrow pencil or matte eyeshadow to fill in the gap then brush L'oreal Brow Artist Plumper over top. I find letting it semi set then applying a second coat gives a better coverage.

Don't see the hype

I was super excited to try this product, which may be why I was a little disappointed with its performance.

On first glance, it's really nice and it doesn't have an offensive chemically smell which is always a bonus! I really liked the little application wand, it was excellent at applying the product an combing the brows.

To me, it was just like applying a clear eyebrow gel (I was sent transparent). I didn't notice any "fibres" or any "plumping". As someone who has problem brows after a surgery in that area, I was hoping this would be a big help in cover my scars. I really wanted to love this product - but I just don't see the hype unfortunately. It's a glorified brow gel - I wouldn't waste money on it!

Tips: Don't apply too much product, the brush comes out with enough product to do a full brow

Good for setting brows

Now, to be honest I have pretty thick brows but they do need taming. I love the look of thick and plumped up brows but whenever I used to try and do mine, they would smudge and move everywhere and I would have brows going crazy sticking out in funny places.

The product claims to volumise hair strands but unfortunately it did nothing to the volume of my brows. I got the clear gel so I cant comment on the shade, but the brow clear gel applies so nicely and evenly and sets so my brows don't go astray!

The brush is small, similar to the top half of a mascara wand, which is the perfect size for application. The gel itself is not scented and looks quite nice and easy to use which is a bonus!

I will repurchase the product again, purely for the fact that it sets my brows in place so I dont have to worry about them for the rest of the day. They make my brows look sleek and so good, so I would definitely recommend even though they do not do much on the volume side of things.

Not too fussed.

I was lucky enough to be given the Medium/dark brow plumper, and was excited that i could try it before it hit the shelves. I love the thought of quick easy brows, as im lazy at the best of times with them. At first i didnt really know if i was using it correctly, as i didnt see any difference, other than my brows were stuck in place. After a couple of weeks or so of using it, i really couldnt love it, i watched tutorials on how to apply it, and i was using it correctly, but for me it was just not cutting the mustard unfortunalty. It may have been my brows that were the problem, but i couldnt see any more 'fullness' that i was hoping for. it was like the fibres didnt stick. another thing is if you look really closely, i could see sparkles, yes i said sparkles, well more like a really fine glitter on my brows. I asked my workmate as well if she saw them on hers and yes, she had glitter too. My guess is the fibres are the sparkly things which is meant to give you the 3D look, but it just wasnt what i was expecting. I really wanted to love this, but i cant. I will However, reccommend to people, as i think i am just one person with an opinion, I do no of others who love this. This product had potential of been amazing 'for me', but not at this moment. I may give it another go one day, but for now, i will stick to lazy brows. I hope this is better for others xx

Tips: Try before you buy, use small strokes and take your time. xx

I kind of like this product, but found that when I was taking photos with my eye up to the camera, that the little fibres rubbled off onto my camera! Such a shame...I think that I would have worn it daily if that didn't happen!

I noticed that when I swatched the blonde one but hopefully the medium/dark is sparkly on my brows. I am looking forward to trying this product as I have the australis tint my brows which is good for the price

Super natural looking - great for light blondes

First up let me begin with a huge disclaimer. I have no eyebrows. OK perhaps that's employing slight hyperbole, let me rephrase that. My eyebrows are scant. I'm fortunate that I do have a good natural shape so I barely have to pluck them but they are very blond and quite sparse. You know those "horrifying" memes that go around of celebs with no eyebrows? Well I actually have a huge complex now because that's pretty much what I look like and now I'm paranoid I'm horrifying to look at.

Cue the search for a brow product I can actually use. Obviously one that suits me is not going to suit someone with a full on fierce dark bushy brow so this review won't be at all helpful if this is you. Feel free to stop reading here, or keep going for poops and giggles up to you.

Anyhoo the struggle to find a suitable brow product when you're a light shade of blonde is real. They are inevitably actually a shade of light brown. I didn't bother getting my hopes up about this product for this reason. The swatch online looked quite dark too so I was tossing up between blonde and clear, but hey you never know until you try so I clicked blonde and eagerly awaited the courier.

I was pleasantly surprised with the colour when it arrived. Scratch that I was over the moon. It's pretty much a PERFECT match for my eyebrows. So much so I couldn't even tell I'd put it on until I looked over at my naked brow and noticed the difference. Now it's not a huge difference mind you but I think I actually prefer this as I don't feel as caterpillary as I normally do when I do my brows.

The product is incredible easy to apply. It has a brow brush attached and application is as easy as lightly brushing your brows and building to the desired affect. The only difficult part I found was applying to the VERY sparse outer edges of my brows without it touching my skin and looking smudgey. This was a very minor thing though, solved by using a more steady hand not slap dashing like I normally do, and wouldn't be a problem for anyone with a less negligible brow.

The result as I mentioned before is super subtle. I feel so confident leaving the house with this on vs constantly worrying that I look silly or like Helga off Hey Arnold! when I do my brows normally. The product is buildable so it's possible to be natural or dramatic and I was able to use it in conjunction with my Billion Dollar Brows universal pencil to achieve a fiercer look.

For blondes looking for a natural looking every day brow product I highly recommend this. I have tried a mascara-wand style brow product before and it came out quite ginger - a problem I hear is common with blonde brow products. I can assure you this is not at all orange (not that there's anything wrong with redheads I love my ginger sisters holla ladies).

Tips: Don't be scared of eyebrows and walking around looking horrifying like I was. Give it a whirl and jump on this brow bandwagon. It's always fun to take on a challenge and step out of your comfort zone x
