Not too fussed.

I was lucky enough to be given the Medium/dark brow plumper, and was excited that i could try it before it hit the shelves. I love the thought of quick easy brows, as im lazy at the best of times with them. At first i didnt really know if i was using it correctly, as i didnt see any difference, other than my brows were stuck in place. After a couple of weeks or so of using it, i really couldnt love it, i watched tutorials on how to apply it, and i was using it correctly, but for me it was just not cutting the mustard unfortunalty. It may have been my brows that were the problem, but i couldnt see any more 'fullness' that i was hoping for. it was like the fibres didnt stick. another thing is if you look really closely, i could see sparkles, yes i said sparkles, well more like a really fine glitter on my brows. I asked my workmate as well if she saw them on hers and yes, she had glitter too. My guess is the fibres are the sparkly things which is meant to give you the 3D look, but it just wasnt what i was expecting. I really wanted to love this, but i cant. I will However, reccommend to people, as i think i am just one person with an opinion, I do no of others who love this. This product had potential of been amazing 'for me', but not at this moment. I may give it another go one day, but for now, i will stick to lazy brows. I hope this is better for others xx

Tips: Try before you buy, use small strokes and take your time. xx

I kind of like this product, but found that when I was taking photos with my eye up to the camera, that the little fibres rubbled off onto my camera! Such a shame...I think that I would have worn it daily if that didn't happen!

I noticed that when I swatched the blonde one but hopefully the medium/dark is sparkly on my brows. I am looking forward to trying this product as I have the australis tint my brows which is good for the price

Worth Plumping For

The moment I saw this advertised on BR I felt a wee thrill run through me. I've been on the lookout for a brow defining mascara since trying a more expensive brand, and loving it. Alas, budgets being budgets I couldn't justify buying it so set out to find a dupe. I've tested a couple of brands along the way, and found the wands too big or the dark browns too light or too red toned. But this one, I had a good feeling about this one.

Off to my local Farmers I drove, only to find they'd sold out, however the tester told me that my feelings were right. The wand was little and easy to use (on my hand), and the colour - bang on dark brown. Perfect. Onto the Farmers website I hopped, and found they had stock available at my next closest Farmers, so the next day I went and bought it.

I've worn it every day since, which is only four days, but it only took one day to know I loved this. The gel formula glides easily through my brows, filling in the little patchy bits, and thickening my brows without giving me full on brow game (something my face wouldn't suit). What I end up with is a polished look, totally chic, and I've had more people compliment my 'look' in the last few days than I've had in months. The only thing that's changed? My brows. Oh, and my hair (thanks again BR! xx). It's kind of funny feeling gel in your brows, and when I raise my eyebrows or draw them together I can feel a strange stiffness, but it's by no means unpleasant. I haven't had issues with clumping, and the formula doesn't run.

I can honestly say that this is my new favourite beauty product. Can't recommend it enough.

Tips: If you get a bit brow mascara happy in any spot of your brows, run a brow comb through it to even the colour out.

Still waiting to receive my one of these to trial. But every time I go to a l'oreal stand I gravitate towards it and just want to buy it so I can use it already. But I have to be patience a little while longer

Hey Chelsea, yep there's a clear, light, and brown shade. I'm not sure how light the light shade is though - I just zeroed in on the dark shade, whooped for joy when it wasn't a light dark and went on a mission to buy it :)

Ooh, this sounds perfect. I'm sold! I am growing out my fringe in a few weeks which is a little scary as I'm not used to my brows being noticed! Did you see the lighter option by any chance? Or did they only have browns? xx

Fills and colours your brows

This magic product has really won its way into my collection. It has tiny fibers that helps to fill out your brows while the gel tints your hairs and helps keep them in place all day. The formulation is quite wet so you need to make sure that you are careful not to smudge this on your face. I have the benefit gimme brow and find that I reach for this far more often. I have the medium shade and find it to be perfect for holding down the hairs on my brows down. It really keeps them stuck all day without feeling crispy and hard. It gives a more natural effect. The only thing is that I wish the brush was smaller. The brush itself is a small spooly brush with natural bristles. I use this on top of my dip brow and find it just gives me another extra bit of security for my unruly brows.

Eyebrow plumper - like mascara for your brows

This is a funny product. I put it on and look at my reflection thinking 'it's ok... Nothing so different.' Then when I take it off at night I go 'wow, where did my eyebrows go?' I suppose that is the hallmark of a product that is really doing its job - it looks so natural you don't notice it until it's not there!

Having used this product I would now choose it over an eyebrow pencil any day. It added volume and colour in the way good mascaras do. As such, I'm not sure why they opted for such an awkward product name!

The wand looks like a mascara wand but smaller, for ease of application. Compared to an eyebrow pencil it was much easier to do and compared to mascara, much less hazardous! The colour was a perfect natural tone for my blonde hair and pale skin. The 'crunchy' eyebrow texture is a little odd, but a small downside for great brows.

The only real problem with using this is that it can go on the skin, particularly where the hair is sparse, and gives your skin a slightly giveaway colour and sheen. However I imagine that would cease to be an issue with a bit more practise applying.

Tips: Make sure your eyebrows are plucked first. My pale brows were unshaped the first time I tried this and the product highlighted my caterpillars. ;-)

Nice Brow Tamer

I'm definitely pleasantly surprised by this product - I only recently started actually paying attention to my brows (now it's one of the central parts of my daily makeup routine!), and so was curious to see how a mascara-like coloured brow gel would go. I am a natural blonde, but my eyebrows have always been darker, and so I decided to see if using the blonde shade would lighten them to give a better match to my hair.

For starters, the application is very easy - just brush along the brows to instantly tame them! It does leave them rather crunchy, but then at least I know they will stay in place! The colour of the gel did help lighten my brows, and I found the colour to be slightly lighter than the blonde L'Oreal Paris Superliner Brow Artist, which I also use.

Strangely, I did not notice a huge difference in the 'plumpness' of my brows - I have reasonably thick brows so this actually is not a huge issue for me, but I am curious as to how this works on sparse hair, as for me it leaves a very tell-tale colour on the skin rather than creating the illusion of hair.

At this stage, I will continue to use a brow pencil or the ELF brow kit to fill in the gaps, but am a fan of how well this keeps my brows in place over the day - no unruly caterpillars here for me!

good

I got the light to medium and I found it was too dark for me however it definitely made my brows look better they stood out and it gave them more definition and made them look a lot thicker, it was really simple to use and it didn't take long either and it looked like there was a slight metallic sheen to it, I tried it in the transparent version and it worked much better for me, it made my eyebrows thicker and nicer I really love the look.

Tips: Make sure you take any loose eyebrows off the brush each time you use it I found mine would stick to the brush just like 2 or 3 of them.

A great idea

I did love the idea of this product and was excited to see how it would work. Whilst in theory it should be perfect for my rather diminished eyebrows, it actually isn't. I did want it to work and tried several times to apply the gel, however I found it a bit wet and while trying to plump the brows I kept smudging and the effect wasn't good at all. I do think that if I had slightly more brow it would be a great product; its not shiny or sticky and basically not hard to apply. So don't let my views put you off! It's back to a pencil and brush for me.

Plumper but not on thinning brows!

This product on first trial was, yuck that is really wet and then dried feeling stiff. However, I think I was too keen and applied too much. The following days were much better. Made my centre half of the brow look much better, but my outer half of brow while looking a bit darker, not sure that it looked fuller. I will still use a bit of brow pencil on outer half before applying Brow Artist Plumper. Feel the brush needs more bristles on it, might give sparse brows a better look. But overall quite happy with look it gave my brows. I used the blonde in trial.

Tips: If you have thinning eyebrows, you might still want to put a bit of pencil on and then the plumper to give a fuller natural look.

Average product

I personally didn't like this . The first time I used it I could actually feel the gel dry to a slightly tacky feel in my brows that I could feel as my face moved . Really strange. On subsequent uses I applied less and it seemed to fix that issue a bit. The applicator was awkward to use, especially around the thinner parts of my brow where it bled out onto my skin , but it got the job done. I love the elf 2 step brow product and this doesn't compare to that. The end result was pretty natural , almost so much that I don't see the point in bothering with it. Wouldn't purchase.

Tips: Apply sparingly.

Super natural looking - great for light blondes

First up let me begin with a huge disclaimer. I have no eyebrows. OK perhaps that's employing slight hyperbole, let me rephrase that. My eyebrows are scant. I'm fortunate that I do have a good natural shape so I barely have to pluck them but they are very blond and quite sparse. You know those "horrifying" memes that go around of celebs with no eyebrows? Well I actually have a huge complex now because that's pretty much what I look like and now I'm paranoid I'm horrifying to look at.

Cue the search for a brow product I can actually use. Obviously one that suits me is not going to suit someone with a full on fierce dark bushy brow so this review won't be at all helpful if this is you. Feel free to stop reading here, or keep going for poops and giggles up to you.

Anyhoo the struggle to find a suitable brow product when you're a light shade of blonde is real. They are inevitably actually a shade of light brown. I didn't bother getting my hopes up about this product for this reason. The swatch online looked quite dark too so I was tossing up between blonde and clear, but hey you never know until you try so I clicked blonde and eagerly awaited the courier.

I was pleasantly surprised with the colour when it arrived. Scratch that I was over the moon. It's pretty much a PERFECT match for my eyebrows. So much so I couldn't even tell I'd put it on until I looked over at my naked brow and noticed the difference. Now it's not a huge difference mind you but I think I actually prefer this as I don't feel as caterpillary as I normally do when I do my brows.

The product is incredible easy to apply. It has a brow brush attached and application is as easy as lightly brushing your brows and building to the desired affect. The only difficult part I found was applying to the VERY sparse outer edges of my brows without it touching my skin and looking smudgey. This was a very minor thing though, solved by using a more steady hand not slap dashing like I normally do, and wouldn't be a problem for anyone with a less negligible brow.

The result as I mentioned before is super subtle. I feel so confident leaving the house with this on vs constantly worrying that I look silly or like Helga off Hey Arnold! when I do my brows normally. The product is buildable so it's possible to be natural or dramatic and I was able to use it in conjunction with my Billion Dollar Brows universal pencil to achieve a fiercer look.

For blondes looking for a natural looking every day brow product I highly recommend this. I have tried a mascara-wand style brow product before and it came out quite ginger - a problem I hear is common with blonde brow products. I can assure you this is not at all orange (not that there's anything wrong with redheads I love my ginger sisters holla ladies).

Tips: Don't be scared of eyebrows and walking around looking horrifying like I was. Give it a whirl and jump on this brow bandwagon. It's always fun to take on a challenge and step out of your comfort zone x
