If you haven’t tried Clinique quads you’re missing out. They don’t have a huge number of colour options available but the colours in each palette are really well put together. I bought “On Safari” a gorgeous green quad with 2 matte shades and 2 metallics. The olive green metallic is gorgeous and rich and was the main reason I bought this product in the first place. There is also a matte green that is a few shades lighter. The creamy beige is perfect for the brow bone and as a natural base but the star of this quad is a gold/green shade. I’ve never anything even similar to this colour and it just looks sooo beautiful on the lid. I have very pale skin and while these colours are darker they still look great day and night. Be prepared for all day wear!!! These shadows stay on all day without fading or going patchy(I do use a primer on the lids) I would go as far as saying that these are my longest wearing shadows. The only drawback with this palette is it can be tough to blend. There are applicatiors in the quad but I prefer a brush and even with a decent brush the 2 darker shades are so pigmented it is easy to make a mistake. Go in with a very light hand and build up. I paid $70 for these shadows which seems pricey but as there are many different looks that can be achieved with these colours I would definitely pay that again.
